06/08/2025: This is the second time we've written about this place, and we do so with good reason. After discovering it during an informal lunch with friends, we decided to spend a few days here. It's a three-star hotel, but for us it deserves five. The atmosphere, steeped in history, elegance, and refinement, is still present under the current management. A family that has preserved and continued a style of manners, service, and food quality that is rare today. Special recognition goes to the professionalism and kindness of the waiters and waitresses. 30/07/2025: We had dinner in the unique 100-year-old dining room: very stylish, transported back a century. Very friendly staff, good food, and very fair prices.

02/08/2025: I went to an office dinner. The food was good, but not very generous. They stopped by for a second helping of the first course (gnocchi with burrata). The staff was kind and helpful. The location was on the lake, surrounded by greenery. Quiet.

02/08/2025: We went to Affini for a drink and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, the place is pleasant and not too noisy. The cocktail menu is very diverse and full of original creations. If you want to try cocktails that are out of the ordinary, I highly recommend going!

13/07/2025: A romantic dinner? Taverna Darsté in Torre Pellice (Via Arnaud 3) could be a great idea, as well as a get-together with gourmet friends who love seafood. Yes, because—oddly enough—Darsté has built its business and professional image on the freshest and most flavorful seafood, even though we're in the Pellice Valley. Our evening began with a couple of first courses from the menu (orecchiette with fresh octopus, clams, and broccoli rabe; and cavatelli with seafood ragù), cooked perfectly al dente and beautifully balanced in flavor between the various ingredients. A small misstep was the mixed fried calamari, shrimp, and anchovies—a bit too greasy, and the shrimp hadn't had their "intestinal vein" removed: I know, opinions differ, but we're in favor of a thorough cleanse...—which was promptly redeemed by a seared fresh tuna on a bed of mixed salad that earned a standing ovation for its freshness, flavor, and tenderness. The dinner was rounded out with an excellent bunet and the bubbles of a glass of Baffone (Poderi Cellario, 80% Moscato and 20% Favorita), bold, savory, and pleasantly rustic. We'll be visiting again, and soon.

08/09/2025: A small, casual pizzeria with no parking issues. Typical Neapolitan pizza, perhaps a little more refined than the standard fare. Good dough and quality ingredients. Fast service, but room for improvement. They do a lot of takeout, and excellent prices.

06/09/2025: Nice place with welcoming staff, but a bit chaotic. The food is good (though I think the pizza could be a little crispier, but that's highly subjective). In my opinion, the prices are higher than average, and I don't find them justified. A good, recommended place, but it could still improve.

13/07/2025: Locale carino tipico da pub. Per aumentare i coperti sono stati creati altri 2 spazi all'aperto (chiaramente menu tipici). Discreta scelta tra panini e focacce. Discreto il panino. Birre della loro produzione sia alla spina sia in bottiglia

21/06/2025: Sono andato in questo pub per rinverdire un po' i miei ricordi di boomer quando c'erano a Torino tanti pub quanti oggi ci sono ristoranti gapponesi. Il cibo non è male, la birra è molto buona. Ma il servizio è scarsissimo. 35 minuti per attendere un semplice hamburger con la birra che si è inesorabilmente riscaldata nell'attesa. Alle mie rimostranze hanno porto delle blande scuse ma alla cassa non mi hanno scontato la birra calda che mi è toccato bere. Per cui mi sento di segnalare la cosa ai prossimi avventori: chiedete che vi portino la birra quando vi portano il cibo, perché le due cose potrebbero non accadere in tempi compatibili.

27/07/2025: For my birthday, I chose Piano 35, on the 35th floor of the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper, partly because I was with my mother, who was curious and had never been there before, and it was a truly pleasant experience. We sampled two tasting menus—"Giro d'Italia" and "Piemontese"—both very delicious and not overly demanding, as one might expect at a Michelin-starred restaurant, with carefully crafted dishes and interesting traditional flavors. The service was attentive and professional, managed by a young, competent, and friendly team, always up to the task and suited to the type of venue. The atmosphere in the bioclimatic greenhouse, with its view of the city and the mountains, adds a special touch to the experience. The price is in line with a Michelin-starred restaurant, but commensurate with the quality and setting. A place worth trying, especially for special occasions or to treat yourself to an evening out of the ordinary.

27/07/2025: Our experience at Piano 35 was perfection the whole night. The service was exceptional, it was the most elegant ballet of presentation I've witnessed in a restaurant in a long time. Every single detail was attended to, no matter how small and they went above and beyond for my husband who is particular with his drink choices. The food was outstanding, with every course having something worth noting - but a surprising standout for me was the Spaghetto alle vongole. I didn't order that menu (my husband did) because I do not normally care for that dish, but I tried some of his and was amazed. If that was what my grandmother had cooked all these years - I would have grown up very differently. The view is obviously the star in so many ways - but it was an ensemble cast. A spectacular way to end a long work week and a memory that I will never forget.

20/07/2025: This is my third time dining at this restaurant, which is only called "Locanda." It's actually a refined establishment created specifically in part of one of the oldest nursery schools, with style and sophistication. The owner and chef, along with his wife, are a perfect, refined duo. The food is meticulously prepared with a rare delicacy. Top-notch wines and... even soft drinks for those who prefer them. I highly recommend it for lunches where you want to enjoy expertly interpreted Italian cuisine, with both meat and fish equally highly rated. And considering we're in Valpellice, that's no small feat! Try it and you'll agree!

18/05/2025: There are those who have always dreamed of having a tree house and those who lie. Parco del Grep is one of those experiences to add to the list of things to do at least once in a lifetime. Immersed in the woods, peace and tranquility have absolute dominion. The sound of the leaves moving in the wind, the singing of the birds as a sweet awakening, the orchestra of crickets accompany the evening, far from the traffic of the city. The rooms are beautiful, equipped with all comforts, but always respectful of nature. Francesco is a very kind host, he welcomed us and his story about the birth of the structure really moved us, the fruit of his passion. Also recommended is the breakfast basket, with typical local products.
