You can tell from a mile away that it's made with the freshest ingredients: the ricotta is creamy, the candied fruit is top-quality, and the orange blossom aroma is perfectly balanced. An incredible delicacy that took me straight back to Naples. ​The Atmosphere: It's not just a pastry shop, it's a place where you feel at home. The family welcome makes the experience even sweeter. ​The Staff: Rarely do you find such kind and helpful staff, capable of conveying their passion for their work with a smile. ​In summary: If you pass by Piazza XVIII Dicembre, stop by Pastarel. Compliments to the owner, Monica, for her dedication to ensuring everything is perfect, even for those with food intolerances or any other concerns. Large, well-maintained rooms for any event. The brunch is truly excellent: generous portions and thoughtfully prepared dishes, with a nice variety of options—from American breakfasts, bagels, and toast, to burgers, club sandwiches, and salads. If you're looking for vegetarian or vegan options, Barbiturici doesn't disappoint: it offers dedicated menus, so you don't have to ask for changes every time. A big plus is the place's informal atmosphere: ideal for a late breakfast, brunch with friends, a quiet lunch, or even an evening aperitif. Furthermore—and this doesn't hurt—the prices are more than reasonable for the quality.  In conclusion: Barbiturici is a place that welcomes everyone—vegetarians, vegans, brunch lovers, and anyone looking for a casual, quality place in Turin. 07/01/2026: A welcoming, almost family-friendly pizzeria. The pizzas are excellent, both in terms of the dough (the crust is the real deal) and the ingredients. The traditional Neapolitan desserts are delicious. The welcome was warm and the service was prompt. I even admired the owners' honesty, because even though we paid without any issues, while we were leaving to say goodbye, the cashier came over to refund us €20 for the bill, which she'd double-checked just to be sure. I thought it was a nice gesture, especially since the already average price had become truly excellent considering the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back.

30/12/2025: A restaurant that prepares pizzas for dine-in, takeout, or delivery. There are tables inside and on the outdoor terrace between the sidewalk and the road. The menu includes about twenty pizzas: among the most common ingredients are buffalo mozzarella (alternating with fior di latte on half of the pizzas) and datterini tomatoes, but especially provola, which is used as a topping on many pizzas. A small mozzarella cheese added raw to the center of the pizza is also a common addition. The quantity is satisfactory; the flavor is pleasant: the shape is the classic Neapolitan pizza, but for two people, pizza by the meter can be ordered. The menu also includes two focaccias and two calzones.

07/02/2026: I celebrated my graduation a couple of weeks ago: the venue was beautiful, with a private, well-furnished and heated dining room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, with excellent combinations (the restaurant paid special attention to vegetarian and gluten-free options). Excellent value for money. All in all, an experience worth repeating!

The staff are super helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about the suggestions and pairings. Let them advise you! They're extremely accommodating with vegetarian options.
