1. That it's just ice cream
2. That there are excellent competitors who are much more reasonable.
Look around and let's get them to take a step back.
€16.50 for a tub for three people seems decidedly too much for ice cream.
18/07/2025: I go there often because I live nearby, and I think it's one of the best ice cream shops I know. The prices are higher than average, but the ice cream is truly special: rare and original flavors.

I’ve been to many restaurants, but this one really blew everything away. From the very first moment – top-notch service, incredibly friendly staff, and an atmosphere that just makes you feel comfortable.
The food? Simply next level. Every bite was perfect – fresh, flavorful, and made with real love. You can instantly tell that the people here have both skill and passion.
I swear, I’ve rarely eaten this well. Whether it’s the taste, the portion size, or the presentation – everything is 100%.
If you haven’t been here yet, you’re seriously missing out. For me, it’s without a doubt the most amazing restaurant I’ve ever been to.

The wine selection is extensive and of high quality.

The atmosphere was family-friendly, the staff attentive and friendly, and it was a pleasure. 01/02/2026: Last night we celebrated our birthday at Baita Chisonetto and had a really great time. They took us to the refuge on snowmobiles, and we stayed there for aperitifs, dinner, and post-dinner drinks, and the atmosphere was fantastic.
The location is stunning, with a view of the mountains that alone is worth the visit.
The food was delicious, everything was carefully prepared and tasty.
The staff was super kind and helpful, and even provided us with speakers to play music after dinner.
Perfect place to spend a lovely evening with friends and celebrate. Thanks to Francesco and the whole team! ⛰️🍷🎉
21/01/2026: We stopped by for the first time on Sunday, stopping off during a day of skiing. The service, friendliness, and quality were five-star; the bombardino was delicious, the best I've ever tried. We asked the owner if he could organize dinner for our group there in the cabin, with snowmobile transport. He was incredibly kind, and even though we were only nine people, he organized the evening. Luckily, there was another group there too. It was an unforgettable evening. The atmosphere was pleasant, and everything we ate was excellent. We'll definitely be back for a break today.
Thanks to all the staff for the evening they organized for us. If you come to Sestriere, you absolutely have to stop by Chisonetto.

In the photo, I've had the fiordilatte and coffee, but I also recommend the "150 anni" (150 years), cream, and zabaglione! Inside the cone, of course, is a layer of gianduja chocolate to delight you with every last bite. 😋
The price (€3.50) is justified by the quality of the ingredients and the service!
There are a few seats available inside the shop for dine-in.

18/12/2025: Place is a bit small, and can get crowded. There is very limited amount of sitting inside and it can get cramped when "al Banco" The food is delicious and the drinks (coffee) were well made and on spot. Definitely recommend this place for coffee and dessert, just be prepared to be crowded since its an amazing place for food...
