18/05/2026: Cappuccino, croissant, okay, forget it. I wanted to get up and go to a pastry shop. I was thinking of an artisanal croissant, but instead it was a total desolation. Industrial, and above all, not even high quality. Practically empty, just a speck of cream and that's it. The croissants you expect from a simple café, not a pastry shop. I'll never go there again, sorry...

09/02/2026: I contacted the number on the website to book, and after providing my information and confirming the reservation over the phone, I was told I would receive the details (including payment) via WhatsApp. Not only was I never contacted, but I never received a response when I called or emailed. In the end, I had to cancel every activity I had booked for my weekend in the mountains, despite having difficulty finding other accommodations. Disgraceful and unprofessional. Absolutely avoid!
01/02/2026: Truly charming place, a little outside of Bardonecchia. Spacious, clean rooms with a small balcony offering a beautiful view.

22/09/2025: It took them twenty minutes to bring us 2 sandwiches and 1 tramezzino. One of them was burnt and was in front of us, scraping the burnt sandwich so as not to make it obvious, we asked for a refund.
20/08/2025: The quality of the products is excellent but the Venere risotto with salmon, celery and pineapple was not good at all, the rice was mushy, undercooked, even considering the Venere type, and the combination with celery and raw salmon was not the best, I'm not fussy but this is the truth.

05/05/2026: The nice weather is returning, and Casa Clara is once again a neighborhood favorite. The aperitivo is generous, and the staff is super friendly. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews. It has a covered area in case of rain, and it overlooks a promenade with benches. In an area like ours, finding a place like this is a real treat. I miss it when it's closed during the colder months!

02/05/2026: I ordered a takeout farinata at 9:30 PM last night. I paid €6 for a raw, paper-thin farinata.
Absolutely inedible, a waste of money.
26/04/2026: I called at 5:00 PM to order four pizzas for pickup at 8:30 PM. I arrived at 8:30 PM to pick them up, and they still had to be rolled out... After a half-hour wait, the pizzas came out, and one was wrong, so they had to remake it... Bottom line: we left with the pizzas at 9:15 PM.
In the meantime, at 8:45 PM, two customers arrived and ordered two pizzas, and they made them in 10 minutes!
Added to this, there was a bit of a fight between the two pizza chefs!
As an apology, they offered us beers, but in any case, they lost the customer.

06/03/2026: Food was not bad but service is very bad. I tried to get attention for 30 minutes to get fork, knife and a napkin to my 26 euro burger with out any luck. It is not enough to have cool tattoos you need to see your guests as well. I can also add that we are 11 people in the outdoor area.
23/02/2026: Walked into the relatively quiet bar. My friend found a table whilst I sat down. Ordered 2 beers from the bar and was told to wait at the table for them.
We waited and waited whilst the 4 staff members looked at their phones, chatted and flirted with locals and poured other guests drinks at the bar whilst we remained empty handed.
In the end we waited 10minutes and saw no sign of any beer and walked out.
Bloody tossers, don’t bother Brits!

I'm pregnant and I asked them if the cheeses were pasteurized, and none of them were.
They didn't offer me any alternatives.
And I ended up taking a tray of frozen, undercooked fries.
25/04/2026: Very DISAPPOINTING. We won't be returning. Good pizza, but expensive and with little choice. We ordered fried fish, and besides being very cheap for the price, the shrimp were all dirty (intestine on the back). INADMINDABLE. We called the waitress, who said she was sorry, but that's how they serve them. 😲 At the cashier, she told us we could tell them there, and they'd remake it... conflicting versions...
We paid €43.40 for 1 pizza, 1 fried fish, and 2 500ml bottles of water... we got home... satisfied our hunger with a sandwich.
