Enjoy your dinner.
Just one thing: if the chef comes to the dining room, he should spare a minute for each table, and not just for acquaintances.

My Angelino took me there.
We often talked about this place, because about twenty-seven years ago he hosted a company closing dinner, inviting all his colleagues.
Today, as then, we were very satisfied.
Rating... 10 💪

01/12/2025: Even though the dining room wasn't crowded, we had to wait a bit for the appetizers. However, the quality and quantity of the ingredients made it worth it. Excellent food. The place is well-maintained.
21/11/2025: The pizzas are very good, but it's a shame about the rest... The fried calamari and shrimp accompanied by vegetables for €18 was terrible. The shrimp were nonexistent and the calamari were limited, but after tasting them, I'd say it was a good thing, since they were rubbery and tough. The vegetables, on the other hand, were very good and plentiful, but it's a shame I didn't order just that. Too expensive for such poor quality.
The staff were friendly and quick with their service.

28/10/2025: We ordered takeout, a veggie sandwich and a burger with fries.
We couldn't eat the fries; they were covered in stale oil. The burger was much smaller and of lower quality than others at the same price. The veggie sandwich was embarrassing, practically the same as the one at the discount store with half a cherry tomato and a third of a lettuce leaf on top. Congratulations, you saved a euro, but you made an embarrassing impression. NEVER AGAIN!

Easy parking and friendly, helpful service.
Good-quality products and average prices for this type of establishment.

14/09/2025: I found this restaurant through the Chiara Eat It All challenge. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete the challenge, but I still enjoyed an excellent dinner. The place was very elegant and the food was excellent, beautifully presented. I think it's become my favorite sushi restaurant.

11/10/2025: Today we had lunch at this agriturismo after a morning spent gathering chestnuts in the surrounding area—a beautiful experience in itself, made even more special by the lunch that awaited us.
The menu was a surprise, constructed with the freshest, seasonal ingredients: everything prepared by the chef with great care. The mushrooms, picked just this morning, were delicious appetizers.
A warm welcome, a rustic and relaxed atmosphere, and authentic cuisine. A place that feels like home, the woods, and tradition. Perfect for those who love to eat well after a day immersed in nature.
Highly recommended!
05/10/2025: At La Coustera we ate excellent food cooked in the traditional Piedmontese style. The fritto misto was absolutely top-notch. Excellent value for money.

14/12/2025: Avoid. The defining feature of this place is rudeness. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like an inconvenience rather than a customer. I could have tolerated bad coffee, but the cigarette-butt extract they serve — combined with the barista’s attitude — was too much. In a town full of friendly people and good coffee, this place stands out for all the wrong reasons.
14/12/2025: Unfortunately, our experience at this café was very disappointing. The coffee tasted burnt, and the croissant was bland and completely tasteless. While poor-quality food is already frustrating, the worst part of our visit was the rudeness we encountered from the staff first thing in the morning.
It was a beautiful, sunny Sunday, and we were hoping to start the day pleasantly. I can forgive mediocre products, but the lack of basic courtesy and hospitality is much harder to overlook, especially in a place where attentiveness and friendliness are part of the job. Sadly, this attitude completely ruined what could have been a nice moment.

27/10/2025: Unfortunately, Fabio 2025 gave up Bar Porto in March. I still know his predecessors... I've been a regular customer there since 1988.
Fabio's cooking was unique... sometimes it took a long time, but 98% of the time it was a treat for the palate.
History...
The service is friendly... the special ambiance can still be experienced a little inside along the counter... it's become just another café.
The cappuccino is good.
The green olives are no longer tasty.
