06/04/2026: The location, surrounded by nature, and the friendly atmosphere created by the people we met (including the guests in the other cottage) were very lovely. My dog, who is used to being free, really enjoyed the company of people and animals. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service. The room (€250 for the overnight stay) didn't have shower products (towels, yes, but no shampoo or shower gel). We ordered three adult dinners (even though we had a young child with us), one of which was vegetarian. At 5:00 PM, upon our arrival, we were told that they had prepared three vegetarian options and that there was nothing they could do to fix it. Basically, my son stopped eating the second vegetable dish and ended up with bread and an Easter egg, which luckily we had in the car. My sister also only tried two dishes (only one had cheese; all the others were exclusively vegetables). I specified that we would have appreciated just a plate of pasta or a charcuterie and cheese board (which was available online for the kids), but nothing. We were told they were for picnics and not dinners, that in the end the menu changed little (even though at least one appetizer and one main course would have been meat-based), and the woman who managed the dinner continued to question whether we had booked, as per the email, only a vegetarian dinner. In short, they made the mistake, and we paid the €90 for the three dinners. In total, €355 for the overnight stay, breakfast, and dinner (given how it went) seemed far too much. It's a shame about the service, but fortunately we still enjoyed the setting, the family outing, and the interaction with the rest of the group.

20/03/2026: I stayed here with my girlfriend for a birthday present. The place is gorgeous and quiet. The food is excellent. Room service is highly recommended. The aperitif and breakfast were also excellent. The staff were very kind and welcoming.

06/03/2026: I've tried this place several times, and while it's nothing spectacular, it looked good, and the pizza was tasty—not crunchy, but tasty. On our last visit, we had the red pizza, and I have to say it was a huge disappointment. The texture was soft, and the tomatoes were rawer than when you find them hanging from the vine. The ingredients were subpar, reminding me of what we used to eat in the days of late-night bakeries, when the post-disco chemistry took over. Conclusion: a huge, unexpected disappointment. Failed. Reasonable prices and decent service, nothing to complain about.

Each dish is expertly plated and served with a genuine smile by the very kind and professional staff. Very competitive prices. I recommend trying the pizza, which is cooked in the characteristic wood-fired oven. For the rest, you'll be amazed and amazed.

Always friendly service, a simple and welcoming atmosphere: the classic place you'll want to return to again and again. 01/12/2025: It's been a while since I've had pizza here, so I tried again, but unfortunately, nothing has changed, and I don't think I'll be back. The dough remains very greasy, full of oil, and is therefore difficult to digest. The ingredients are good quality, but the dough could use some work.

11/01/2026: I've known this place for almost 20 years and have always eaten well, but for a birthday party I decided to trust them and I must say we had a great time, about 50 guests and everyone complimented me on the pizza and farinata, the owners were super kind...

18/04/2026: We stayed two nights on half-board. We loved everything! The hotel/restaurant is family-run. The owners are very hospitable and open. The food is excellent, and many of the products are homemade! The value for money is truly excellent! A pleasant surprise! Definitely worth a try!

26/04/2026: It's always a pleasure to return to River Side. The atmosphere is pleasant, with soft background music. A simple menu: four appetizers, four first courses, and four second courses, alternating between seafood and meat. The wine list is reasonably priced. I chose the Fassone tartare and, above all, the pork cheek, which I highly recommend. A wonderful experience! We'll definitely be back.

30/03/2026: Extremely disappointed with the owner/cashier, it was half an hour before closing time and she didn't seat us because she thought we didn't have time (there were 21/34 people, they close at 10 PM). We accepted, ordered two takeout pizzas, which took 7 minutes max, and each paid by card. If she (two people) complained, complimenting us, and then complained, she just made useless criticisms since two customers came in one after the other. What difference did it make? Criticisms and she wouldn't stop! I concluded by saying, "Madam, never come here again!!!!!" Pizza? There are much better ones!!!!!

29/03/2026: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! This evening, for the first time, I bought takeout pizza from this pizzeria. To my great surprise, I finally found a place where the pizza is of high quality. The dough was perfect, both in taste and quality, which I found to be excellent. THE CRUST IS FINALLY THE PERFECT ONE. NOT RUBBERY, NOT HEAVY. LIGHT, HONEYCOMB, as it should be. Even the amount of salt in the dough was perfect; the toppings were excellent, not meager, but perfect in quantity and distribution. PERFECTLY COOKED: the pizza isn't soggy to the touch. Thin enough yet still retains the right amount of firmness when cut so you can eat it with your hands. WHY?! A great pizza is eaten by cutting it into slices and with your hands without the dough and toppings falling out! In short, perfect! EXCELLENT GUYS, DON'T GET GETTING LOST ON THE ROAD. I RECOMMEND IT! WELL DONE!!!
