15/10/2025: Superb piadina! I tried the weekly special with pulled pork, barbecue sauce, vegetables, and cheddar, and it was amazing.
The piadinas are homemade, and the selection is vast.
For those with a sweet tooth, the "Insulina" piadina was a real treat. (Nutella, fig jam, and walnuts) A snack that will fill you up.
Welcoming place, friendly and welcoming staff.
Definitely worth a try! There are too many flavors to resist coming back for a second, third, and even more.
02/10/2025: The best piadina I've eaten in the city, for a quick but quality lunch. Highly recommended.

Quantity over quality.
Cooking method needs reconsidering. Frozen meat cooked quickly. Not the best flavor. Interesting recipes to try again in the future, hoping for a better experience.

Terrible service and terrible quality.
The waitress who disappears while taking your order and then returns 5 minutes later without saying anything is quite embarrassing.
Stale bread, dry meat, and terrible, almost raw, fries.
If you offer me food like that to make me pay more than €40 for a sandwich and two fries that, at a sandwich shop, would be better for €8, I strongly recommend everyone go to MC. You'll spend less and eat better.
Spoiler alert: I've been stuck in the bathroom since 8 this morning.
Shame on you.

04/10/2025: Absolutely loved the place! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food is delicious and full of flavor.Every dish was well presented and tasted amazing.Highly recommend it for a cozy meal .
05/07/2025: I went to eat at this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend, but even though I live in this neighborhood, I had never noticed it.
Chef Alessandro Di Bernardo Amato welcomed us courteously, asking if we had any allergies or intolerances, which was important to my partner.
We chose the tasting menu, and each dish was an explosion of taste and balanced, authentic, pure flavors.
Excellent choice of ingredients and the chef's skill.
A peaceful evening spent on the quiet Via Saluzzo.
A highly recommended experience, my favorite restaurant so far.
It's a shame I didn't take photos.

It's not very expensive: there were two of us, we had two pizzas, and it didn't cost much. The waiter spoke Spanish and treated us very well. We had been told that these were someone else's favorite pizzas, and it was spot on. Everything was excellent. 100% recommended.

28/10/2025: Lovely welcoming owners and staff. Excellent home cooked food. Generous portions. Varied menu with yummy mountain dishes of polenta with various accompaniments and trout of course. You can even catch your own trout from the lake and have it cooked for your lunch. Reasonable prices. Beautiful location. The grilled chicken with coleslaw was delicious. The mixed salad perfect. Wonderful place for lunch on a sunny day or for an apperitivi or coffee on the way to Monfol or back. Easy walking distance from Sauze. Parking available. Dog friendly. Would highly recommend.

05/02/2026: We visited Lanificio in San Salvario and had a truly positive experience in every way.
The staff stood out for their professionalism, courtesy, and customer service: they welcomed us with great kindness and were available throughout the evening, making us feel at ease.
The food and drink selection was also excellent: the cocktails were well-prepared and high-quality, while the fried gnocco was absolutely exceptional, fragrant, and tasty. The potatoes were also excellent, a perfect accompaniment.
A well-kept venue with a pleasant atmosphere, ideal for an evening with friends. We will definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.
30/12/2025: A truly original and well-kept venue, with a unique and distinctive atmosphere thanks to the vintage furnishings and sewing machines. Perfect for a cocktail or brunch with friends. Welcoming staff and a charming atmosphere. There's only one bathroom, so depending on the time of day, you may have to wait a long time to use it. Regardless, it's a must-see if you're in the San Salvario area!

21/09/2025: The icrecream is really delicious, however there are two gentleman serving, one is extremely kind whereas the other always lies about post machine not working, not being charged etc. to get cash and also even for the cash he charges us more than the other gentleman does, most probably just because we are not Italian. We will not go here anymore when this gentleman is serving.

24/01/2026: I came in to order a "chocolate affogato."
They asked me if I wanted to sit at a table, and I said no, eating it standing at the counter.
Result: first of all, the ice cream was, to put it mildly, "mediocre in quality," and, what's worse, they charged me 8 (eight) euros!
When I politely asked for clarification, since I pay 4-5 euros on average at other ice cream shops, I was told that that was their price, identical to the price for a table-side order...
They also added that I should have asked first.........(!?!)
I will certainly never go to "Silvano" again, because this is a terrible way to treat customers.
