They have a large display counter with the dishes of the day where you can choose between first courses (also baked), second courses such as roast, Milanese, meatloaf and then many vegetables such as turnip tops, spinach, potatoes, courgettes and others. In short, there is a lot of choice and the dishes are cooked fresh every day. Simple and genuine flavours, average portions and prices in my opinion higher than other bars in the area. 13/05/2025: So good! We have tried pistachio, hazelnut, and raspberry chocolate. Hazelnut was my favourite. But I must say, at first I thought raspberry chocolate, based on chocolate with a top of the raspberries. But it baffled me, because it was a gelato with raspberry flavour with added chocolate pieces. Still good, but amazed. Corn would have been thinner, but that's fine. In general, we really enjoyed it.

20/12/2024: first time I tried Indonesian cuisine and I really liked it! the place is small, cozy and clean. the menu offers a wide choice of dishes with chicken, meat and vegetarian. the portions were generous. only flaw: it was not possible to have the separate bill as it had to be advised when ordering. (reservation recommended) I would gladly go back!

15/06/2025: The place is very beautiful and rustic, overlooking the lake and breezy even on hot days. It was a bit inconvenient to walk there because the road was closed and with a small child. The service is slow because we arrived at 1:15 pm and after an hour we still hadn't eaten the first courses. The food is very good.

11/05/2025: The place is inaccessible since the road is closed to traffic on weekends for the last kilometer and a half. It is not much to do on foot however, it is FUNDAMENTAL information to be given to the customer at the time of booking (or at least communicate it on the site) because there may be people unable or in difficulty to walk such a distance uphill. It is unacceptable to discover something like this on the same day and by calling the restaurant to be told that either you can do it on foot (I specify that I am 5 months pregnant, I have two children and almost a dozen friends in tow) or go up in the car with the risk of getting a fine. Due to this serious lack and professionalism, I have not been able to try your cuisine and I will never try it.

15/06/2025: I like Japanese and Chinese food, at least 10 times a year I go to a restaurant that serves Japanese, Chinese or both, so I have a good yardstick. EJ uses a type of rice that is suitable for Japanese dishes, which is not trivial, because not all varieties are suitable and there are many varieties. EJ presents itself as fusion and in fact there are imaginative dishes, such as sushi-tacos, but the great classics of the sushi range are not lacking. There are also all the typical Mandarin dishes and in addition even something Thai, which I have not tested yet. Easy ordering via tablet system. The only downside: the 75cl bottle of water costs a good three euros and is often not enough for two people in an all you can eat meal. This weighs on the fixed price, currently for dinner of €27.90 (€24.90 + €3 cover charge) per person, becomes €30.90, unless you have the unfortunate idea of ​​​​taking a dessert (€6). All this is a bit exaggerated considering that we are in Rosta and also a bit misleading considering that at the entrance you read €24.90. It is definitely better to go there for lunch. Maybe if nobody goes there for dinner anymore they will lower the prices 🤷
