Meizoun Blancho In Fenestrelle

By chance, I saw this farmhouse.... We asked if we could come back the next day for lunch... a wonderful surprise. We ate excellently, everything was very good, served in a characteristic mountain room. The bill surprised me, more than honest. P.S. I can't say anything about the rooms as I didn't stay, but it's a nice place with a beautiful view.

I had lunch on a Sunday, finding a last-minute table without a reservation. It was a somewhat random discovery, but I must say it was satisfying. The cured meats and main courses (roast fillet and venison) were excellent; the gnocchi alla toma and the tomini cheeses were a bit less so, but still adequate. I'll be back. The prices are more than fair; you can choose from the menu or opt for two sets (three appetizers, a first course, a second course, dessert, drinks, and coffee for €32, or the same without the main course for €28).

It's not a hotel, it's a farmhouse with rooms, so it shouldn't be considered a hotel. It's well-maintained, quaint, and the rooms are a decent size, have everything you need, are clean, tidy, and offer constant, "basic" assistance. Direct access to the rooms, even at night, is via a dedicated entrance. Breakfast is served with local products, and an extra star is awarded for the courtesy. Ample, convenient, free parking is available, and you can purchase farm produce. We stayed two nights and had a great time.

Typical, welcoming, and rustic in just the right way. The location is perfect for reaching various excursions, such as the Fenestrelle Fort, Lake Laux, Pian dell'Alpe, and other picturesque villages like Usseaux. Family-run, everyone is very kind and available to their guests. They offer many homemade products, such as milk, cheese, and yogurt, which I absolutely recommend trying: delicious and not at all acidic. Suitable for everyone, even children. There are games in the courtyard, and the best part are the three dogs, including Robert, who is truly playful, very good, and not at all annoying. In fact, don't worry, he's very good. Beautiful and unique location, very friendly staff, and quick service. They make delicious homemade products, from the tomini to the gnocchi, and even the desserts... well done!!! EXCELLENT value for money I recommend it!!!!!

I've already had lunch at this beautiful agriturismo, set in a charming setting. I chose it again for a special birthday. Authentic food. Attentive and friendly staff. Excellent value. It has all the ingredients to make it a great place to stop.
