A historic establishment in the heart of Alba, elegant, refined, and meticulously crafted, where you can immediately sense the passion and attention dedicated to their customers. Special praise goes to the owner, Mirella, a genuine, kind person who always makes guests feel at home. The products are excellent: from the coffee to the sweet and savory options, everything is prepared and served with great care. Every visit is a pleasure and an opportunity to indulge in a quality moment in a pleasant and welcoming environment. A place I sincerely recommend to anyone passing through Alba: a guarantee of quality, elegance, and special people.

14/06/2026: I come to the Caffè Teatro every now and then because I like the area. It's a very nice place. The service is always inattentive, the waits are incredibly long, and they consistently don't clear the table. I'm sorry to say it, but the waiters sleep standing up.

18/09/2025: We went there today for lunch, but even though Google and the signs around town told us it was open, we found it closed. For the sake of fairness, everything should be updated so customers don't go there for nothing.

12/07/2026: The refuge allows you to park where others have been inaccessible for hours. The staff is extremely courteous, and the food, typical of a refuge, is not bad, including the wine. There's practically no choice, but that's what refuges are. I really don't understand the negative reviews.

05/07/2026: We were there today, obviously a winning location... very friendly staff... and cold beer!! And here the good things end... not the food of a good refuge, the flavors linger in your memory, but of a restaurant with a good price!!! Polenta, let's call it that... both concia which is not far from the word GOOD! Veal tone, the sauce tasted of sardines! Sausages with raw gravy... bread let's not even talk about it... sum... BRING A NICE SANDWICH AND YOU WILL BE MUCH MORE SATISFIED!!

06/01/2026: December, we went to this bar for lunch but despite it being right on time we were told that the kitchen was almost out of everything, we settled for two polentas and a portion of arrosticini (€12 for 6 arrosticini, a steal), the service was practically non-existent and we were given two placemats even though there were three of us, because according to the person who served us with the arrosticini, neither cutlery nor a placemat is expected. The two polentas arrived accompanied by a few pieces of cheese and immediately got cold since it was colder inside the restaurant than outside. You can't improvise as a restaurateur, and when you ask a diner for a certain price, as a customer I expect to receive top-notch service. This service wasn't there, since when we asked for some bread, it wasn't brought because it was out. However, we were served a single sweet roll for three, reheated and burned. I don't recommend this place, not even to Back to the Future fans. Everything is stuck in the '80s, poorly maintained and even poorly managed. Being a restaurateur is an art; they should take better care of their customers.

01/01/2026: Very welcoming place with very kind and hospitable staff. The quality is excellent, and especially the zabaglione is a must-try!

09/02/2026: When asked if they do business lunches, the answer was yes! Then he brought us the menu, saying, "Take your pick; the prices are next to them." Out of politeness, we didn't get up because we were already seated. I ordered polenta with stew, and my colleague ordered gnocchi. He brought us the plate: 5-6 gnocchi with a spoonful of sauce. A ladle and a half of polenta with 3 pieces of stew. We waited 20 minutes before they were brought to the table. We had sparkling water to drink. We got up hungrier than before, and we paid 14 euros each... So at least say so right away. We'll have an à la carte menu, that's it. Like the rest of us, the other workers were "ripped off" in the same way.

28/01/2026: Good pizzas, awkward waits. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to spend an entire evening on a 20-minute meal.

21/05/2026: Bad experience: typical post-game pizza. We arrived and the waitress greeted us kindly, and the pizzas arrived quickly. They weren't huge, but they were good. When it came time to get the bill, the manager, perhaps just having a bad mood, not only abused the waitress, but also quoted a flat rate, rounding up the price and saying that some of us had left without paying...we were all there, including the coach, and when he went over the order, he even marked down an extra pizza. Despite the complaints, we paid the full amount without arguing, but we left with his insults in the background...

21/04/2026: Excellent pizza, even for takeout, and a good restaurant with generous portions. I also prefer to drive all the way to Genoa from Savigliano for takeout, because of the convenience of parking.

20/12/2025: During Christmas dinner, we found ourselves crammed into a makeshift inflatable in the courtyard. The lack of safety and food regulations was evident, and common sense was completely absent. We were so crowded together that getting up from the table was practically impossible. The din was unbelievable, amplified by deafening music that made it difficult even to communicate with the person next door. The food, of poor quality, was served almost cold, which further disappointed our expectations. I would, however, like to applaud the waitresses, who were always helpful and kind, despite having to work in this difficult situation. It's not my practice to comment, but enough is enough. I'm not writing this review to hide behind a keyboard, as the owner commented regarding the comments made, but to share my experience with you and hope that the owners will reflect on these aspects.

19/12/2025: There are no words to describe a place like this. We were placed inside an inflatable "bubble," heated by two mushrooms. The noise was deafening! The food was poor quality. The only positive aspect: the kindness of the staff.
