27/10/2025: While searching for a venue for our wedding, we were captivated by Il Groglio, both for its sheer beauty and attention to detail, and for the mastery of its wonderful hostess, Nicoletta. After an initial quote, we immediately received the right attention and guidance from Nicoletta, who immediately won us over and clarified our few, confusing ideas with her professionalism and experience. The venue immediately offered us multiple options for an indoor or outdoor reception, a more dynamic or elegant setting, and adaptable to any weather (which was no mean feat for us, given that we were getting married at the end of October). We received countless compliments on the dinner menu, the aperitif, and the wine selection, as well as on the enchanting location. We are extremely satisfied! Nicoletta was able to captivate us with her attentiveness and accommodate our requests! Highly recommended!

02/08/2025: A decidedly well-kept and elegant bar inside, with precise and impeccable service, and absolutely top-quality dishes, always tasty and well-prepared. Kudos to the chef 👏👏. Prices are fair and I'd say competitive. 👍 I recommend it for business lunches or breaks with friends. The only area I think could be improved is the outdoor area. Perhaps a raised section to bring the last row of tables up to par with the others, and a separation from street level with planters along the entire perimeter, would add something extra. 😉 Anyway, congratulations! 👏👏👏

15/09/2025: A wonderful restaurant with full of local clients. Not too big and not too small dining area and there were some big groups. The cuisine was absolutely traditional and very tasty. Reasonable prices. It’s located in the middle of vineyards and there is a wonderful country side view from the dinning area. All staff, young girls were extremely kind and smiley. I highly recommend this restaurant during your Langhe stay. The reservation is necessary. Big parking space. Very clean restaurant. Unfortunately big groups become very loud with some wine….

26/01/2026: I went to dinner with a friend of mine on a Saturday night. We didn't reserve, but we found a table and were seated right away. We both had pizza. The ingredients were very good. I ordered the Monviso pizza, and both the leeks and sausage were very good. I also had the fried calamari, which was good and plentiful. The desserts were also good.

18/01/2026: A well-kept and welcoming place. We had the pizza: excellent! Judging by the tables next to them, the other dishes, meticulously prepared, must have been delicious too. The owners and staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Highly recommended if you're passing through Savigliano.

03/03/2026: I'd say neither good nor bad A pizzeria famous for its large pizzas, a good pizza with thin crust and plenty of toppings. The location is nice and the waitresses were friendly. The dessert, however, was a disaster. I think I ate the worst tiramisu of my life here. If you're a tiramisu fan, don't order it!

15/02/2026: I don't know much about pastries, but the coffee shop is terrible: I'm not familiar with cappuccino and marocchino. The croissants are ridiculously large. The prices are completely out of line: marocchino + croissant €4.80.

I must say that Marina and I are a couple who love to savor the specialties of the places we visit, both in Italy and abroad...like the unique patisseries across the border. Manuela and Giancarlo infuse the experience and love they've acquired over the years into their service and delicate production. Today, thanks to the kindness of Tiziano and Mirco, we selected a tasting of delicacies that allowed us to savor the perfect combination of ingredients and their quality. A special mention also goes to the Cappuccino with Coconut Milk and Cocoa. Value and price are always in line: everything that is precious and touches our soul, even in the form of sweet treats, deserves its worth! Congratulations, and see you soon!

18/09/2025: We went there today for lunch, but even though Google and the signs around town told us it was open, we found it closed. For the sake of fairness, everything should be updated so customers don't go there for nothing.

08/01/2026: Reading the name of the pizzeria, I immediately pictured a beautiful fantasy tale, perhaps even with a few mischievous elves to spice things up, but I never imagined that, during dinner, I'd be experiencing a mystical journey into a fairytale world. Let's start with the staff, totally unsuitable for serving tables and hard to find, almost as if they were wearing blinders as they walked around the dining room, where just under half the tables were occupied. Let's move on to the drinks, where by magic, or some mischievous gnome, the amber beer turns into a lager twice...magical, isn't it? In a fairytale, the fearless knight faces several obstacles to achieve his most desired goal: saving the princess. Instead, we, even if it's not such a noble goal, just wanted a pizza, but we had to earn it and, above all, thoroughly investigate which one we ordered. I admit we gave them a hard time, because we ordered a pizza with classic dough, with gorgonzola, leeks, and sausage, and another with hemp dough, with leeks and sausage. We hoped it wouldn't be a problem for professionals, and for professionals, it wouldn't have been so... But okay, trying to figure out which pizza was which, both presented as gorgonzola, leeks, and sausage, we managed to eat, even if we didn't live up to our expectations, as the edge was comparable to the shield the prince uses to protect himself from fire and dragon bites. The heroic feat almost comes to an end with dessert, which would have been nice for everyone to enjoy together, and not for three minutes at a time, and then a fourth after a good five. In the fried Nutella gnocchi, we found a hair (it can happen), and I wouldn't have even mentioned it if it weren't for the fact that, after managing to call a waiter, it was pointed out to us, on instructions from the kitchen, that the hair was blond and that everyone in the kitchen had black hair. Personally, I don't think it's fair to the customer to report this, as the hair was found anyway. In the end, they remade our dessert, but, as with the pizza, it wasn't as good as expected. Well, dear readers, we've reached the end of this arduous task and we conclude with the phrase found on the till: "Pizza is not food, pizza is a feeling." Nothing could be more accurate, but are we sure that feeling is always positive? Just to end with a quote..."Let posterity judge."
