The Wednesday to Sunday menu is ideal: carefully prepared and generous dishes, with prices ranging from €16 to €28, covering the entire menu, from appetizers to desserts. ​The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere in the covered outdoor area is unparalleled, thanks to one of the most evocative views of the city. The overall quality-price ratio is excellent. ​One small detail: I noticed a slight difference in the size and comfort of the seats among the various tables in the bioclimatic area; greater uniformity in this regard would make the experience truly perfect, given the restaurant's exceptional caliber. ​Overall, a highly recommended stop for those seeking quality and beauty in a unique setting.

21/04/2026: The place is nice, although the view of the city from the tables is very limited. There is a nice view from the terrace next to the elevators, but it only lasts a few minutes. The staff is excellent, but the menu is truly disappointing, both the vegetarian and Piedmontese options. I definitely expect more from a Michelin-starred restaurant because you can eat much better elsewhere for half the price.

04/11/2025: Extraordinary seating. Great staff. Incredible food. I would recommend choosing the kitchen view counter seating. The ballet of the kitchen is not to be missed.

11/11/2025: A medium-high level restaurant, with decent service, albeit a bit cold. Good wine list with reasonable prices. Enjoy your dinner. Just one thing: if the chef comes to the dining room, he should spare a minute for each table, and not just for acquaintances.

27/05/2026: We stayed here overnight before a cruise from Genoa. A very nice agriturismo. Quiet and idyllic location. Plenty of parking available. Friendly staff. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. We had a very good meal in the restaurant in the evening, and the prices were reasonable. There's also a pool. Highly recommended; we would definitely stay there again.

17/11/2025: The only "sore" note, but it doesn't imply anything, is that coming from another Italian region, I'm used to some dishes having no limit on the number of dishes.

11/04/2026: We celebrated Mom's 90th birthday today and came here at the recommendation of relatives. The food was excellent, the service even better, and it's a family-run restaurant with great customer service. They were very kind and gave us directions to Mom's childhood memories.

20/03/2026: It's a restaurant we already knew, so my son decided to celebrate his 18th birthday there. The owners were very kind in their welcome, and the kids felt at ease...my son was very happy.

18/02/2026: Went as a couple for the bagna cauda day at La Merla. Welcoming atmosphere, limited seating. Service good but could be improved. It's the birthplace of Fausto Coppi, and the restaurant reminds us of him. Overall, a good experience, recommended.

15/02/2026: A delightful restaurant on the ground floor of a typical mountain house. Stone and brick walls, stone vaults, wooden tables and chairs. A very pleasant atmosphere. The food is exquisite and high-quality. Homemade pasta, homemade bread, aunt's chili pepper, tender and flavorful meat with an exceptional sauce. All the flavors intensely captivated the taste buds. Excellent value, especially since the prices are not at all expensive.

25/04/2026: One because zero is impossible. Not for the quality, but for the service. Sunday evening, a store with a couple of customers besides me and my partner. We ordered and paid for two cups of ice cream (€6.60), served by a young man and a young woman of Spanish origin. I asked if the salted caramel flavor contained nuts, and the woman told me she had the allergen list in the kitchen and asked if I needed to consult it, and I said yes. First mistake: BY LAW, THE ALLERGEN LIST MUST BE CONSULTED BY THE CUSTOMER. The employee goes into the lab for a few minutes, but when she comes back, she tells me she can't understand what was written. She sent a voice message to the person preparing the cookies, but since it's 10:35 PM, they wouldn't respond. So I ask her if the cookies contained dried fruit, but again, the answer is "I don't know." Frankly, a little annoyed by the lady's lack of professionalism, I tell her that by law, she should know this, but the girl tells me to breathe. INDECENT AND INCOMPETENT! First of all, you don't treat customers like that, and after all, we're talking about health, not whims. Training and information on legislation and how to behave when performing a job that involves contact with the public should be mandatory requirements.

03/03/2026: I've been going to i.coni for months, and I think of Ma i Basse, who are the best in all of Novara. Today I ate an ice cream that almost made me cry with emotion. You're the best.
