04/08/2024: We kept hearing about this place, but never went…until we went to the market, and by pure coincidence it was boiling outside, we looked for an ice cream and Il Massimo del Gelato popped up! First of, the ladies welcome you with a huge smile and are extremely friendly! They give suggestions and also recommend trying flavours! Then, there are a lot of chocolate flavours, and the Fiji (with orange and grand marnier) is just to die for! If it wasn’t as warm outside, I would have definitely taken it, but did a 180 and took fruit flavours, which I never do! The fruit flavours are water based, but I’m 100% sure that nobody could tell it if they don’t! They’re extremely creamy and super fresh! All the hype is 100% real, they are one of the best ice creams I’ve tried in Milano! Super good flavours, great varieties, and amazing staff!

01/09/2024: We have known this place for twenty years and always come back with pleasure! Excellent menu and cuisine! I repeated montanare and meatballs with sauce: top! Even the desserts (babà and lemon delights) are reference points! Courteous, friendly and helpful service: Giovanni is great, always attentive to the needs of guests, anticipating their every request. To come back!!!

16/03/2024: I came in to give a gift which was greatly appreciated: a box of delicious macarons and a black tea with notes of chocolate and caramel... a perfect combination. The courtesy and friendliness of the staff made me appreciate even more that little corner of France hidden, unfortunately, behind the Sant'Ambrogio construction site. Highly recommended... even the person who received the gift appreciated it a lot. ❤️
