Star Pizzeria E Kebap In Cassano d'adda

Excellent quality ethnic food, courteous and fast service (we had booked for 7:30 pm, probably at a different time the times may vary).

We were passing through Bergamo and while looking at Google Maps, I noticed this place I'd saved a long time ago, recommended by Nicolò Balini. We decided to try this kebab, and it didn't disappoint. The place is located right on a busy street, unfortunately there aren't many parking spaces available. Fortunately, we found a white one in front, even though all the other spots were blue. The place looks small from the outside, but in reality, in addition to the upper floor, there's also a lower level where they seated us since the place was practically full. Despite being late service, we noticed particular attention to cleanliness, including the bathrooms, which were well stocked with soap and paper towels. Overall, we were also surprised by the overall beauty of the place, which appears well-kept and nicely decorated. The menu is very extensive; as you can see from the photos, there's plenty to choose from, and the prices aren't at all excessive, even considering the quality. I have to admit, we may have been lucky because within 15 minutes we ordered and received a falafel sandwich and a pizza, even though our neighbors at the table were complaining about having been waiting over 40 minutes for a sandwich. I'm obviously writing about my personal experience, which was more than positive. Having ordered a kebab pizza, I chose the sandwich with falafel, which I thought were excellent. The only negative was that the inside of the sandwich was cold, so I don't know if it had actually been made a while ago and wasn't reheated, or if there was a hitch along the way. The portions are certainly generous, the bread is good, and so is the toppings; the white sauce was very popular. The kebab pizza was also good, thin and crispy, although it was very soft in some areas, I think due to the dough. In total we spent 25 euros for the falafel sandwich menu, the pizza and a bottle of water, although I realized now looking at the photos, that 12 euros for the menu with 1 euro for water and 11 euros for the pizza should make 24 euros.

The kebab was excellent, I have nothing to complain about. The spiciness was just right, and finally, a kebab with yogurt sauce (which didn't cover the rest) and not dry. I couldn't taste the onion, but that's okay. The fries were very simple, but they didn't have that special something. Unfortunately, a friend of mine had the Ascoli olives, and they were very hard.

Not only is it the best kebab in the area, the menu also includes other delicious dishes, like this chicken shish! Welcoming, clean, and well-kept atmosphere. Super friendly and attentive staff.

Truly delicious and plentiful food, a lovely atmosphere, and super friendly and welcoming service. The wait was a bit long, but the place was really busy, and there were plenty of people ordering takeout. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have been coming here for years and have always had a great experience. The kebab is very good, light and easy to digest. The ingredients are top quality, the vegetables are fresh and the meat is also very good and of excellent quality. I also recommend the baklava, which is very delicious. The staff is kind and very helpful. For me, it is the best kebab in Italy!

Excellent kebab, quality ingredients, well-measured, and a great sandwich. Polite and welcoming staff, fast and efficient. Tables are always clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming (considering it's a kebab shop). It smells of fried food, and the food is very limited.
