21/05/2026: After numerous and constant staff changes, the place has lost its attention and friendliness towards customers. The once legendary aperitif has declined in quantity and quality. What a shame.

30/06/2026: The hotel has been extensively renovated and is now fantastic. The food is wonderful. These couple are living their dream and are very friendly. The lake and surrounding area are sensational. Simply idyllic.

14/06/2026: I read earlier that the spaghetti bolognese wasn't good, but in my case, it was truly excellent and very generous. So far, this is where I've had the best spaghetti bolognese in Italy. I highly recommend this wonderful place.

23/06/2026: Given that I'm Neapolitan and have lived in Milan for 20 years, I find that Memela (especially the Piazza Miani location) has become a sort of meeting place for nostalgic Neapolitans who enjoy hanging out there. Perhaps it should evolve a bit and reach a broader market. Furthermore, the quality has declined in recent years, despite the constantly rising prices.

26/01/2026: Worst restaurant in Pavia, minimal portions of 6 ravioli in cash, between the first and second course there is a delay of an hour/40 minutes if you're lucky, rude staff, unsightly location, never again, I'd rather die of hunger

12/04/2026: The prices are definitely too high for what's on offer. Considering the type of venue, one would expect much more attentive and thoughtful service, but instead the staff was unhelpful and not particularly professional. Overall, an experience that doesn't justify the price.

28/02/2026: One of those places I'd recommend to anyone! Quality ingredients, carefully crafted dishes, and flavors that captivate from the first bite. A place that's perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends, also ideal for an excellent aperitif or after-dinner drink. The setting is tastefully decorated, where nothing is left to chance: the lighting, the perfect distance between tables, and an elegant yet warm and welcoming atmosphere. I truly loved everything about it. I highly recommend it. ✨

20/07/2026: Today, July 20th, with two other people, we ate the piadina, which was always good, as I have eaten it other times. The problem is the girl at the cash register who was unusually rude, for example: when she asked for two of three bottles of water at room temperature, she snorted, as well as making the wrong request... and I'll stop here.... regards

04/07/2026: VERY SLOW SERVICE on a Friday night, and there was almost no one there... so much so that I was almost not hungry anymore.... Good products, but not all of them. Terrible atmosphere: air conditioning wasn't working or wasn't present, and if it was there, keeping the door open would dissipate... plus, with the door open, we ate in the heat and mosquitoes... A truly unpleasant dinner... Scugnizielli TOP! Crème brulee and ice cream!!! The cheesecake was also very good! But on a Saturday night, when there are more people, you can't understand anything and the service just doesn't work... Good pizza, but the sausages are low-quality and flavorless. Soft and digestible dough, and very good and plentiful fries. Some ingredients are of medium-high quality, but others are of low quality... and all this doesn't justify the rather high prices... A note of SUPER MERIT for the frittatina: more than hot, I'd say lukewarm... but REALLY EXCELLENT and made with quality ingredients, even though I prefer traditional frying to batter! The cheesecake base was good, but I left the pistachio topping because, besides not tasting of pistachios, it was acidic... maybe it had gone bad?! I don't know, but I removed it and left it on the plate. The color and consistency were also rather strange... The service was inattentive, slow, and imprecise. It's better outside, I don't know why, but they don't have air conditioning... absurd. The chocolate cheesecake wasn't bad, but it seemed more like a Kinder fetta milk cake: good, but it wasn't cheesecake. The cover bread was very good! But the revisited carbonara was a complete no-no... not quite there... small portion, pasta so overcooked it broke, and it was more like pasta with omelette... rather expensive... I returned after a long time and was pleasantly surprised. The prices weren't exactly cheap... a little expensive, but at least the ingredients were very good, well-cooked, and presented (the mortadella less so). Only the mortadella didn't smell great and wasn't very tasty... I wasn't crazy about the mixed fried fish because it was basically all vegetables... but the scugnizzelli were delicious, they just had too much oil... The pizza was good, and the dessert was good too! The cheesecake was excellent!!! Special mention for the ricotta, which was really very tasty! Service is sometimes fast, sometimes slow...at a certain point you're forgotten even though there aren't a lot of people...but the staff is courteous and helpful. NEGATIVE NOTE: It was scorching hot, or there was no air conditioning, or it was broken, or it was low, I don't know, but it's very bad...and that forces me to lower the rating.

06/06/2026: A great spot to enjoy an aperitivo in Bergamo ✨ The Aperol Spritz at just €5 is definitely one of the best value-for-money drinks we found during our stay! The local sweet treats were delicious, perfect for discovering a bit more of Bergamo's cuisine 🇮🇹 Note, however: there is no table service, as indicated directly on the tables! A simple, friendly spot, ideal for an aperitivo without breaking the bank.

25/05/2026: I eat a lot of ice cream in my life, and honestly, this is one of the best I've ever had (the pistachio is AMAZING).

12/04/2026: Maison Café is family-run, and you can tell because the owners welcome you as if you were at home, with professionalism and kindness. The croissants, tomato focaccias, and pizzas baked by Beppe are excellent, as are the Milanese cutlets, goulash, and many other dishes cooked by Mamma Rosa, with the menu changing daily. Their panzerotti are spectacular! The only bar in the area open on Sundays, it also serves tobacco, and is frequented primarily by regulars and loyal customers. Excellent value, definitely worth a try!

11/04/2026: Drinking a bottle of wine costing €50 and seeing only 4 taralli, 4 crisps, and 4 olives brought to your table seems very little to me. I was expecting some cold cuts and some cheese. In short, I felt like I was being treated the same as those who drank a glass of wine or a cocktail—in short, not at the right level for those who spend more!

29/03/2026: Beer with a glass full of 40% head. I ask if they can please remove some of the head and refill it. The bartender removes the head and tells me that's how they pour beer and that he won't give me any more... 😕 A €25 charcuterie and cheese platter is an embarrassing amount for the price. How much did the four of us spend? 2 beers 4 spritzes 1 platter €88 There must be a reason the place next door is full and this one is half empty.
