26/03/2026: Small but acceptable location. Terrible service. I've been there several times, even to pick up a cake, and the staff is a bit rude and slow. The only redeeming feature is the extremely good desserts.

06/04/2026: The blonde lady with glasses at the counter/entrance was clearly mentally exhausted and took her frustration out on us. She was extremely rude, very unprofessional, and totally unacceptable. In my opinion, the owners should take serious action. It was an unpleasant experience, totally disregarded. I personally recommend staying away.

18/01/2026: A very characteristic restaurant in the historic center of Angera. A comfortable atmosphere paired with friendly, fast service. The food is truly excellent; I was impressed by the ingredients and the seasonings used.

06/12/2025: Came here a week ago with my other half visiting a native of Rho. Such a nice place, the owner and her brother were so nice. The cakes and bread all looked lovely and tasted even better. I'd recommend the choclate cake with pears, yummy, and the cornbread which the lade gave me to try. The coffee was great too. I wish I had a cafe / bakery like this in central London, but I can only dream. Grazie

A place that's perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends, also ideal for an excellent aperitif or after-dinner drink. The setting is tastefully decorated, where nothing is left to chance: the lighting, the perfect distance between tables, and an elegant yet warm and welcoming atmosphere. I truly loved everything about it. I highly recommend it. ✨

20/04/2026: Amazing place, found by chance. I hadn't seen many stars and only went because it was close by for a coffee, but everyone was friendly, people reading books, chatting, and eating desserts. Super super cute! (Vegan and gluten-free desserts also available.)

20/11/2025: For this juice I paid 4. In total I paid €7.50 for two things, and they treated me really badly when I asked about the price.

12/04/2026: Maison Café is family-run, and you can tell because the owners welcome you as if you were at home, with professionalism and kindness. The croissants, tomato focaccias, and pizzas baked by Beppe are excellent, as are the Milanese cutlets, goulash, and many other dishes cooked by Mamma Rosa, with the menu changing daily. Their panzerotti are spectacular! The only bar in the area open on Sundays, it also serves tobacco, and is frequented primarily by regulars and loyal customers. Excellent value, definitely worth a try!

02/05/2026: Negative experience. We sat on the veranda at a table where there was dust. We notified the staff, who replied that cars were passing by. We ordered a cappuccino and brioche and a crodino with chips. After about 39 minutes, they brought our order without potatoes, they noticed... but the chips were not visible. The veranda was where birds entered and weighed themselves on glasses and plates... the bill was salty. I paid 10 euros and 60 cents... only the pigtail was 5 euros...

01/12/2025: The place was disgusting, and the pizza was probably mediocre and the toppings disgusting, but the clothes were awful. There were two pizza chefs. One was young, but polite. He wore clean white clothes. He was probably new to the place. He had a smiling face and looked young, not twenty-something. The other was thin, with a beard and long hair down to his chin. He wasn't a suitable pizza chef. In fact, his clothes, his pizza-making technique, and the way he was treated were inhuman. He had an ugly face when he was angry. I think his name was [Mustafa]. He wasn't a suitable assistant because of his clothes. There was me, very mean. my husband and my eight-year-old daughter. And there was Camirara, a polite and attractive young man, cleanly dressed and very polite. He served us calmly... Unfortunately, we never saw each other again.

28/03/2026: Great location, but unfortunately the service wasn't up to par. After the market, we sat at a table that hadn't yet been cleared and waited about 10 minutes without anyone noticing us or serving us. There was no greeting or any response. In the end, we left, feeling unwelcome.

05/01/2026: A place with a slightly retro charm, located in a beautiful location, right in front of the lakefront. Excellent selection of pastries with cakes, croissants and pastries, the menu also includes ice cream sundaes, sandwiches and burgers. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is plenty of space inside for tables, and there are also a few tables outside. There were four of us and even though the place was full we didn't have to wait for our drinks. I've read some negative reviews regarding the staff's behavior, but honestly we had a good time; everyone was really kind, the girl who served us was always smiling and very nice. Both the cappuccino and croissant were good. One of us asked for a herbal tea and the girl brought the entire selection for us to choose, leaving all the tea bags at the table; not everyone does that.

14/09/2025: I visited the Grom gelato shop in Lecco, on the lakeside promenade, and unfortunately, the experience was truly disappointing. The service was extremely slow: there were four people behind the counter, but only one was serving the gelato, while the others seemed distracted by other tasks. The result? An interminable line and impatient customers. As for the gelato, Grom is now the only thing left. The flavors no longer bear any resemblance to the quality and tradition that once characterized them. In particular, the ricotta, fig, and almond gelato and the salted caramel were flat, flavorless, and completely different from how I remembered them. Not to mention the stracciatella milkshake: awful flavor, really hard to finish. It's a shame, because Grom was once synonymous with excellence, but this store no longer reflects that quality.
