20/12/2025: Last night, my wife, daughter, and I had the pleasure of dining at "Da Mario," and I must say it was a truly wonderful experience! First of all, the waitress was very cheerful and friendly; she greeted us with a smile and made us feel right at home. Her friendliness and professionalism made the restaurant's atmosphere even more welcoming and pleasant. The food, then, was simply wonderful! The dishes were prepared with care and attention, and the flavors were explosive and delicious. We sampled several dishes, and they were all excellent. And we can't forget the house wine, which was excellent! It accompanied us throughout the dinner and made us appreciate the dishes even more. In short, our experience at Da Mario was exceptional. The combination of excellent cuisine, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place to eat well and feel welcomed. You won't be disappointed!

07/07/2026: I ordered two beers with a tray of small sandwiches, chips, taralli, etc. The sandwiches were very old and dry, the taralli were poor quality, the chips were stale, and the Menabrea beer was basic and very bitter. I also had a cappuccino that was almost undrinkable, with low-quality ingredients. Terrible.

29/05/2026: My first visits to this place were yesterday and the day before. The day before yesterday, the cashier staff was really nice and friendly, so I expected the same treatment on my visit yesterday. Unfortunately, the experience was different: the blonde lady at the cashier was rude, arrogant, and not very welcoming. On the other hand, the girl making the juices was very kind and helpful. I'm disappointed because I had higher expectations based on my previous visit, but I didn't feel comfortable. I probably won't return.

21/06/2026: Terrible drink. I wanted a simple Mojito, and my drink was so sugary it was almost undrinkable. After a few sips, it was clear something was wrong. I politely asked if it was possible to exchange it, and the staff took the glass away. After a few minutes, they brought back the exact same glass, simply emptied and rinsed, without any real solution to the problem. This behavior, I found unprofessional and disrespectful to the customer. When a drink is reported as incorrect, you expect it to be remade correctly, not simply "fixed" haphazardly. Considering the location of the place and the standard one would expect in an area like this, the experience was truly disappointing.

03/06/2026: Got there on a rainy evening as they were about to close. The lady stayed open for us and was incredibly accomodating. Good was cheap and tasty. Tiramisu was amazing. Staff are very friendly. Good value for money.

24/09/2025: Poor quality/quantity, €3 for two measly scoops, even when it comes to gelato, the wealthy shopkeepers have become stingy. From the reviews describing it as the best gelato in Milan, it's clear: Either they're relatives Or anything that resembles gelato Or they eat it for free. I don't want to advertise, but for those who truly want a sensory-taste experience, after 35 years in the city and as a connoisseur, I'd like to point out that the best gelato is Massimo's, located in the Corso Sempione area, at Via L. Castelvetro 18. He's also tight-fisted, but his product is sublime. Highly recommended, even for expert gelato buffs. 😋 SLURP YUM

13/09/2025: I've had delicious ice cream at Elio's twice. The prices are reasonable for Milan (€4 for three flavors), and the owner is very friendly. The pistachio ice cream was fantastic, and all the other flavors I had were also very good (Bacio, Nocciola).

17/07/2026: The arrogance, the conceit, the disrespect of the black saleswoman who didn't even know where the flavors were in the wells. Haughty and irreverent. Train your sales staff to be courteous and customer service-oriented.

21/06/2026: I got a €4.50 cup of a paltry quantity. As for the quality, I remembered it being better. Compared to a gelato shop I recently visited in Reggio Calabria, where there was a line to buy gelato that was undoubtedly superior in quality and in unmatched quantity (€3.50 was at least four times the amount - paid there as in Brescia with a valid receipt), the two stars are for encouragement!

07/02/2026: It was my go-to bakery every Saturday in October and November: divine pizza pattonale and focaccia. Kudos also to the ladies, who were very kind and attentive to their customers. Truly, kudos!

20/07/2026: I was really disappointed with this place. The staff’s attitude felt dismissive and unfriendly from the beginning. It was my birthday, and I ordered tiramisu for dessert. They just dropped the plate on the table without saying a word and walked away. I wasn’t expecting a celebration, but a little kindness would have been nice. When it started raining, we asked if we could move to another table. Instead of helping us, they told us to wait. A few minutes later, the rain got even heavier and the table they had seated us at also started getting soaked. Overall, the service was rude and made what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner feel unpleasant. Unfortunately, this place completely ruined the experience for me. I wouldn’t recommend it.

28/06/2026: Super fresh sandwiches with various flavors and all of them are good, and the best ones are with gambori. The prices are around €5 per piece, the sandwich is small, so you should buy several. We shopped every day and took it on trips. They pack you nicely and are really fresh and soft
