05/05/2026: The quality and flavor of the gelato are beyond question, delicious. The quantity issue is serious, very serious. I've been to countless gelato shops in my life; I'm passionate about tasting gelato everywhere I go. I can assure you, the quantities they put in a cup are minimal. In a small three-euro cup, besides being a small cup, the gelato they put inside is almost level with the cup... whoever puts it in is almost afraid of making the classic Montagnalla of gelato you can lick. You could say that with the €3.50 gelato, perhaps they put a scoop of each flavor. In other gelato shops, they also put scoops, but I've never seen so little. There's certainly a lot of work behind it, with regard to the raw materials and quality, that's beyond question, but I don't believe they can't do better at these prices.

11/04/2026: I ate there for lunch on Saturday after not frequenting this restaurant for a few weeks (and I was right). I was shocked by the decline in quality of the sushi. Look at the photos and you'll understand. The sashimi arrived with four pieces of one color and four of a completely different color. The uramaki were 95% rice and 5% fish. The nigiri with seared salmon seemed expired. The quality was truly terrible, and this is coming from someone who has tried sushi in Varese. I won't be returning.

04/12/2025: The place itself is good, the food is good (especially for one of those diners that offer lunch breaks for workers). The waiters are friendly, but one of the two owners is extremely rude, both to customers, who seem perpetually annoyed, and to the employees, whom he treats like servants. Sometimes even some waiters mistreat each other. I sense a toxic work environment among them, but otherwise it's okay, efficient service, and good food. Convenient if you're in the area for breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs.

15/04/2026: I've been to Giropizza and it was really good! The pizza is excellent, tasty, and well-topped, and the best part is that you can eat well without spending a lot. Excellent value! Plus, there's karaoke on Fridays 🎤, and we had a blast: a super enjoyable evening, perfect for sharing with friends. The perfect place to eat well and have a carefree time. Highly recommended! 🍕✨

16/05/2026: What a disappointment. We're passing through Lecco and stop here for a quick dinner. They bring us the menu, we choose, but when they come to take our orders they say, "No, sandwiches and piadinas only for lunch, aperitif only for dinner." Terrible (so write it down or don't bring us the menu at all, are you kidding me?). Okay, aperitif: one of the worst spritzes I've ever had: floating ice, the wrong glass, prosecco that seemed to be out of the fridge because the cocktail was warm and watered down. A small, provincial bar run by two kids, to whom I give my advice: go to bartending school. In no profession, no one can improvise. Then, if you're happy with that in the provinces, good for you...

01/05/2026: Very friendly service. I asked about something not on the menu – an espresso tonic – and despite my ignorance, I was served very attentively, and the lady was willing to learn what this tourist invention was. :) And the pasta was excellent – ​​very balanced, with a roll if anyone was feeling low on calories. The Aperol was prepared perfectly. A very quiet corner in the middle of an already quiet city, perfect for relaxing.

15/02/2026: Some friends and I wanted to spend Valentine's Day dinner out. We had reservations at this restaurant, and when we arrived, the owner wouldn't let us in and told us he had to check our reservation. Something already seemed off, but then he pointed us to a restaurant further away, saying he'd moved us there. We'd booked one place and ended up eating at another... no way. The important thing isn't the conviviality and the desire to spend an evening with friends, but this is unacceptable behavior. They must have left our table to a couple!

09/04/2026: On a busy highway with trucks, Civitas La Sosta Buongustaio goes unnoticed. Stop by: the smiles and friendliness of the women who run the place make everything authentic and delicious. Sandwiches with cured meats and cheeses at the counter; truly delicious and a wide selection! At lunchtime, a varied hot food menu. Or a glass of wine while standing. A simple, striking place. I'll gladly return.
