14/10/2025: Friendly, fast and very helpful staff... normal place. Average food. The only flaw is that before you saved money, now it's like a pizzeria. It's true that you can eat what you want and as much as you want, but if you drink with your second order, you pay a bit too much in my opinion.

21/09/2025: Almost regular customers, always accustomed to excellent service, but this evening it was terrible!! We arrived at 8:15 PM and after just 20 minutes they came to rush us and asked three different waiters three times if we had any special requests for the pizzas, almost annoyed. Afterwards, when we moved on to dessert, they continued to stare at us, pacing back and forth across the room, then commented and gestured (exclaiming "what's that table over there?") among themselves toward our table, making it clear they would be making us leave shortly. Furthermore, when pizzas were refused, we were also looked at rudely by the waiters. Rudeness never seen before. If you don't want to work, stay home, I'm sure we won't be back.

24/09/2025: Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to sit in the open spaces outside the restaurant and could only take the pizza with us. The service was very unfriendly.

02/12/2025: We were there for an aperitif, and there were supposed to be 15 of us, but we arrived with 14 (keep in mind). The atmosphere was comfortable, welcoming, and warm (except for the rather inappropriate music). The appetizer, for what we were served, was good. The first course was casoncelli, very stringy and full of oil. Wines: very acidic white, acceptable red. Spirits: We were offered limoncello or licorice. When we asked for other amaros, we were told, "They're off the menu; if you want them, you'll have to pay." At the end of it all, we got the bill and discovered we also had to pay for the missing guest, something we had NOT been told at the start of the service. So, in addition to having to pay for the other guest (who, unfortunately, couldn't come), they behaved poorly in terms of communication. Overall: food was okay, service was okay, but you shouldn't behave like that.

09/11/2025: I'm enchanted by the beauty and wonder of this graceful and magical place. The location is perfect, breathtaking, overlooking the breathtaking beauty of the Orobie mountains. The food is excellent; I'll definitely be back, as will Biagio. Fausto stayed outside, enchanted by the view, enjoying a few complimentary drinks. The now-former pizza chef welcomed us in the form of a dancing mascot and presented us with a fragrant, warm pizza. It's very nostalgic, reminding me of the good times in my life when I was still happy and not suffering from depression. The waiter greeted us with a warm welcome hug, lifting us off the ground; it would have melted our now sugar-coated hearts. The intriguing and extensive menu offers a variety of pizzas, including three created by the master chef: 1) Pizza Leo, tasty, slimy, and succulent; 2) Pizza Lucry, crystalline with shavings of branzi and speck; 3) Di Nietzsche, even though it was awful, it was the pizza chef's fault, but Fausto ate it anyway, just for the fabulous atmosphere. They greeted us by bowing to us and giving us five beers each. Just enough for the drive home, since that foolish Biagio drives anyway! When we returned to Foppolo, I could smell the aftertaste and already wanted to go back. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience. I love you all.

07/11/2025: Pizza with a unique flavor in the Valley. Highly recommended. The place has changed a lot over the years, always managed by the same family, passed from hand to hand, but the pizza is always the same: unique, fantastic. If you're lucky, you might occasionally get a pizza made by Ezio, the pizza chef and longtime owner, now retired for years. No offense to his daughters and sister. Ciao Clara.

30/11/2025: Excellent lakeside location for breakfast with a wonderful view. The breakfast is excellent, made with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. The croissants are delicious, including the vegan ones. The owners and staff are very friendly and professional.

03/06/2025: Il Modì è vicino al castello di San Giorgio, comodo, informale e il personale è molto gentile. Si può mangiare sia dentro chefuori, nella veranda posta sul marciapiede. A pranzo propongono un menù fisso a 13/15 euro che coprende un piatto a scelta (primo, secondo o insalatona) acqua, caffè e dolcetto. La qualita dei piatti è molto buona. Consiglio vivamente questo locale.

17/11/2025: I'm a local customer, or rather, a former customer. I've been eating here once a week for months, not because it's a special place (in fact, it feels like time has stood still, and not in a good way, and the only nice and friendly person is the waitress who sometimes delivers) but because it's the only one in the area that makes gluten-free pizza. Last night, the two gluten-free pizzas we ordered were partially undercooked. When we politely pointed this out, no one apologized, nor was a small discount offered, nor a coffee... nothing. Not even at checkout did we hear a "sorry," just "it's €39 for two gluten-free pizzas, two Cokes, one water, and one coffee." Needless to say, I'd rather travel 30 minutes for a pizza in Milan than give away my money to those who do everything they can to lose the few customers they have. Never again!

31/10/2025: Pan-fried pizza 🍕 is available for takeout. We've added tables for dine-in, so if you don't feel like cooking, you don't want to set the table or dirty the couch. Come, eat, and go. Besides, as soon as you've finished eating, you're already in the town center.

26/10/2025: This restaurant, originally designed for takeout pizza, now offers a private dining room for dine-in, in a very informal atmosphere. The pizza by the slice is considered among the best in the area. Highly recommended.

16/11/2025: Very beautiful, unique location. Friendly staff. In my opinion, it's very expensive. For two cocktails and a poor-quality entree, I paid €45. I think that's excessive. We're not talking about elaborately prepared food that would justify the price. Besides, why do I have to pay a €2 cover charge? I'm sorry, but I don't recommend this place unless you want to waste your money.
