Moma Cafe In Brescia

Great place for years it was our trusted bar but lately they have raised the prices a bit too much especially for appetizers but the staff was very kind.

The vast spaces of this beautiful city truly captivated me. In the evening, it's impossible to pass by this square without being tempted by the many tables ready to welcome customers. Among these, we choose those of the "MoMa Café." We're here for an after-dinner drink, so I simply ask for a digestif. They offer me an almond-based liqueur, the name of which I don't remember. Since I'm not familiar with it, the very kind staff even shows me the bottle and brings it to the table. It's good, albeit quite sweet. One glass is perfect (perhaps a second would have been nauseating). The place is small but well-designed.

Excellent friendly atmosphere for aperitifs and dinners

Beautiful place overlooking the square. Welcoming, well-decorated, and cared for by an impeccable all-female staff. The breakfast was good, which is what we had today.

On a few occasions, I was very happy to enjoy breakfast, with delicious cappuccino and croissants. Very kind and knowledgeable staff.

We were in Piazza Paolo VI, one of Brescia's most beautiful squares, surrounded by several seemingly inviting eateries. We were unsure where to stop for an aperitif, until a woman in her thirties from the Moma Café won us over with her genuine smile and spontaneous charm. No pressure, just genuine friendliness. That was enough to convince us. We ordered four Spritzes and a full aperitif: a generous platter with pizza, focaccia, cured meats, chips, mixed fried foods, sauces, and toasted bread, as well as two pasta dishes with tomato sauce—one of which was served with a splendid burrata and fresh basil. Everything was beautifully presented, carefully crafted, and above all, delicious. The Spritzes were balanced, well-made, and not watered down—not a given in touristy locations. The food was just the right amount: we dined without needing to add anything else. One aspect that also impressed us was the bill: we spent relatively little compared to what you'd pay in many other Lombard cities for an aperitif in the historic center. Excellent value, especially considering the prime location overlooking the illuminated cathedrals. Moma Café proved to be a great choice: pleasant atmosphere, attentive but not intrusive service, and that human touch that makes all the difference. Sometimes a sincere smile is enough to transform a simple stop into a beautiful travel memory. Recommended.

A fantastic restaurant right in the heart of Brescia's old town, with views of the Palazzo del Broletto and the Duomo Vecchio. They offer a wide selection of teas and a concise menu featuring regional dishes. The casoncelli with pumpkin were especially delicious. The staff is very friendly.
