24/10/2025: Extremely friendly staff. They managed to find me a table even though I hadn't booked and they were fully booked. The menu is traditional, with a variety of appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Excellent value. We had the tripe, the Milanese cutlet, and the agnolotti: everything was excellent! The waitress is truly excellent, and the owner even helped me resolve a problem I had with my accommodations for the night. Help is not a given, but it's truly appreciated!

06/12/2025: This beer hall caters to everyone. Music, beers, and all good food. And for us 50-somethings, they let us listen to our music and a good beer. We're in heaven. The atmosphere is minimal but tastefully decorated... oh, I forgot, they even have rotisserie chicken right on the table. Service is slow but good, with young, friendly staff. On Wednesdays, all beers are $3.50, and there's often a line outside, with lots of university students. Must try! For those who don't like the chaos of a weekday afternoon, this is a top choice!

03/12/2025: Everything is really good! We get something different every time, but there's not a single dish that isn't super tasty and filling. The fries are also the best and crispiest I've ever eaten. Finally, Romina is amazing. Well done!

The milk ice cream is creamy and smooth, the fruit ice cream is incredibly fruity and fresh. It's a shame I don't live in Brivio. Kudos to the shop owner! Great, and sometimes unusual, flavors. Fantastic!

06/12/2025: The food was excellent, the food was good but nothing exceptional, and it was overpriced. The waiters were kind and helpful, but there was a serious lack of customer service at the end of the dinner. After spending €340 on a tasting menu for two, including wine (gift card already paid for), we were asked if we wanted to finish the dinner with a bitter or digestif. We agreed, and were brought a yuzu sake, so good I had to look for it online: €30 a bottle. For two glasses, they charged us €20. Aside from the price, which is a clear mockery, we thought it was free/included after a dinner like that. We finished with a €20 receipt in hand and the cashier inviting us to get our jackets from the closet ourselves… there's a Michelin-starred/guide-like attitude, but it's not reflected in the facts.

05/12/2025: I finally have the chance to review Bentoteca, a unique Japanese restaurant that uses Italian ingredients. There were two of us, and we opted for the tasting menu (OMAKASE). We were served the following dishes: • Otoro, Chutoro, Akami Sashimi (three cuts of tuna, served with wasabi, zuke sauce, and daikon); • Chutoro Nigiri (two chutoro nigiri with wasabi and zuke sauce); • Tsukemono (marinated vegetables, served with tosazu sauce, red shiso salt, yuzu, and sansho pepper leaves); • Tongue Katsusando (two panko-crusted veal tongue sandwiches, with green mayonnaise and marinated purple cabbage); • Wagyu Sukiyaki, Sweetbreads, and Foie Gras Soup Style (wagyu sukiyaki soup with sweetbreads and foie gras, covered in puff pastry); • Ichiaboshi mackerel (dried and grilled mackerel, served with pink grapefruit, dill, chervil, and sesame oil). Other dishes not on the menu also arrived, which are difficult to describe, but I've attached photos anyway. Overall, a great place to enjoy dishes that are truly hard to find elsewhere. Tasting menu, shokupan, and water: €108 per person. As a photographer, I pay close attention to lighting and framing, so I've also attached some shots. I'd love to collaborate with them on a photo shoot.

12/09/2025: UPDATE 2025 For us, this place remains synonymous with hospitality and quality. The cuisine shows no signs of slowing down, and everything is top-notch. We'd like to give special mention to the service provided by the very young waitress Giorgia, who, despite her age, already perfectly masters the dining room with professionalism, courtesy, and a warm smile. To Tania and Fabio, and to the entire staff, our eternal thanks for everything they've contributed to this restaurant. We look forward to seeing you again soon. ________________________________________ This restaurant has become an absolute must-visit. The cuisine is excellent, with great attention to raw materials (often local) and masterful preparation, beautiful presentation, and the flavors are clear and unpretentious. The service is prompt, friendly, and professional. There's never a glitch or a lapse in style, and everyone has a smile and a word to say. The price is reasonable for the offerings and in line with other restaurants in the valley. The staff at the local restaurants are calibrated based on average attendance (it couldn't be otherwise, given the huge difference between high and low season), so you may occasionally have to wait a bit longer than average. Don't panic, just enjoy the view and you'll be served in good time. We always highly recommend it.

08/09/2025: The dishes are varied and well-cooked; the portions are decidedly small, and the prices, in my opinion, are excessive. The place is clean but a bit bare. The service is... inexperienced.
