27/07/2025: As a tourist who stays in the area, I thought it would be an ""ok"" restaurant. Is not just a restaurant but a real trattoria with authentic people and flavours. Is a little diamond in the expensive city. The owners are lovely with amazing food. Even the Italian who were with us were happy with this choice.

18/08/2025: Very attentive staff, wide selection, and quality at good prices. Update: It's still the best Chinese restaurant in the area, with no comparison to all-you-can-eat restaurants for value: this one is much better. And the staff is very kind and efficient.

15/08/2025: Ferragosto lunch at La Grande Muraglia... everything was excellent, from the service to the food, which was top-notch. Dishes we tried: spaghetti with lobster and steamed shrimp ravioli for the first course; grilled sea bass and sweet and sour pork (fantastic!!) for the second course. So Western and classic Eastern cuisine. Everything was truly delicious, in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. 5 well-deserved stars!!

12/08/2025: We arrived an hour earlier than our reservation and there was no problem! The starters and main courses were excellent. We weren't convinced by the dessert; we should have had ice cream.

06/08/2025: We visited this restaurant for lunch and unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the quality of the service or the customer service. My girlfriend is allergic to eggs: the allergen numbers were listed on the menu, but the legend was completely missing, making it impossible to understand what they meant. We therefore repeatedly asked the staff (and several people) to confirm that the dish we had chosen was safe, emphasizing that she couldn't even consume foods like Grana Padano, which contains egg lysozyme, as she is allergic to it. Despite our reassurances, the dish arrived with cheese on top—which turned out to be Grana Padano—and only then were we told that the sauce also contained it. This shows a lack of communication between the dining room and the kitchen, and a lack of attention to potentially serious allergies. Meanwhile, I was served a risotto (price: €40), which arrived in 5 minutes and was already cold after another 5. My girlfriend had to wait while they remade her dish. Hygiene also left much to be desired: the bathrooms, visited at the start of service (around 12:15), were very dirty, with toilet paper on the floor and in a very poor condition. At the end of lunch, we ordered two coffees and stepped outside for a smoke: when we returned, the glasses had already been cleared away, but the half-full bottle of water was still there on the table. In total, we spent €100 for a decent lunch, but the level of service was definitely not up to the price. A shame, because more attention, more communication, and more respect for those with specific dietary needs would be enough. A real shame, because unfortunately, the food (while it was hot) was plentiful and tasty. The atmosphere was very nice, but with the service so limited, it's really hard to rate this experience positively.

08/09/2025: Not a culinary highlight, but excellent for the price. Drinks are a bit on the expensive side, but it's Como. Where we're currently vacationing on Lake Maggiore, the food is better and more affordable.

27/07/2025: Pan pizza, just like in the old days, without too much pretension or contemporary refinement, simply good! The French fries are iconic; try them with honey and ginger; it sounds strange, but it's worth it! Unique decor, designed by the owners' father.

23/05/2025: La nostra prima visita a questo ristorante/pizzeria, seguita da una meritata e positiva recensione risale al giugno 2023, ...da allora sono susseguite altre innumerevoli nostre visite nel tempo,...per paella,...pizze,...ecc.... ad onor del vero, sempre soddisfacenti e piacevoli. L'ultima volta io e mia moglie, prenotato un tavolo per una pizza, veniamo serviti con tempi lunghi ed inattesa superficialità e pressapochismo nel servizio, da un tale molto più indaffarato nel " commercializzare figurine manga " con altri avventori, " dedicandosi a questi ma dimenticandosi della normale clientela. Ovviamente la cosa ci ha infastidito "nel durante della nostra cena "parecchio. MA L'APICE DI TUTTO QUESTO E' STATO RAGGIUNTO DALLO STESSO PERSONAGGIO, che al momento del " conto " chiesto direttamente al bar, ci è stato sottoposto dal medesimo, con la sola sommatoria dei consumi semplicemente fatta " mente" senza che ci venisse neppure rilasciato una normale ricevuta fiscale, o un semplicissimo dettaglio scritto di quanto consumato . 2 PIZZE MARGHERITA ...1 BIRRA MEDIA,....1 ACQUA NATURALE E 1 DOLCE ....43 EURO..!! ....IMPOSSIBILE !!! Non ritenendo neppure in quel momento di contestare quanto a noi esposto, e soprattutto la modalità nella formulazione del conto,...avevo già deciso di non tornare più comunque. Ma se la cosa ci ha lasciat il clientimhm
