Best ice cream I’ve ever had! I sampled a lot of gelato over two weeks in Italy and this one was by far the best… visited three times! Such a lucky find by our Airbnb

Truly a good ice cream, well-targeted flavors and fast service. A difficult choice of flavor, considering that they would all have to be tested. I took two fruit flavors as shown in the photo. My wife instead took dark chocolate and pistachio, eaten with the voracity of a child. Without a doubt I recommend all ice cream lovers to visit Gran Gel, you will not regret it.

Exceptional gelato and cremolati, natural and artisanal gelato, with real and fresh fruit, organic milk and cane sugar. I haven't tried the cannoli espresso but they looked delicious! Be wary of the rest and if you find yourself in San Lorenzo, go here!

I get the hype, delicious gelato and many unconventional flavors. I had bergamot and melon (the latter isn’t super common so was very happy to see it). Will come back again next time I am in Rome!

Small ice cream shop that offers an ice cream that leaves you speechless for its taste, granita (cremolato) that brings you back to the Sicilian tradition of the best ice cream makers. The wait is a bit long, but the location is small and does not allow for high flows. The price is not very cheap, but quality is paid for. Absolutely worth a visit, among the top positions of ice cream shops in Rome.
