23/11/2025: We had a lovely evening today. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was fantastic. The pizza was delicious. I highly recommend it. The seaside location. The prices were very reasonable, almost perfect for us. No envelopes. The wine was great. I highly recommend it.

22/09/2025: A cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, adding value to a restaurant already renowned for its cuisine. Reservations are required.

20/11/2025: It was a very crowded Saturday night, but we ate without a long wait! The fried foods were delicious, the pizza was super tasty and easy to digest. The price was more than fair! I'll definitely be back! ❤️

19/10/2025: I've been there several times. The food is very good for starters. The last time we had fried pasta was tough and inedible. Everything was fine except that they charge €7. Otherwise, I highly recommend the pasta starters.

26/10/2025: I went to dinner last night with my husband and son. I'd been to this place before and everything had been fine. Last night, I don't know what happened, but it was a disaster. The service seemed disorganized; there was only one waiter bouncing back and forth, sporadically assisted by some of his colleagues. In fact, we waited a quarter of an hour just for the menu. The pizzas were good, although overly topped, making them heavy. But the real surprise was my son's pizza, which had a thin, very stiff wire sticking out of it. It's okay to be disorganized, and it's okay that some things might not be to my taste, but the wire definitely isn't. The waiter, who was nice, apologized several times... but I have to say, the evening was still a complete disaster. Oh, I forgot, the menu definitely needs redesigning: you can't tell the price of what you're ordering, there are erasures everywhere... and I'm obviously not referring to the meat, which, I understand, needs to be weighed.

12/10/2025: I've had a house in Santa Marinella for 40 years and I didn't know this place... I have to say it's excellent... very good meat, friendly staff... the guy in charge of the grill gave me good advice... more than fair prices... very crowded, there must be a reason... 10 stars, see you next time 💪👍👍

16/10/2025: Closed, the service was terrible. The food wasn't good either. Dead insects on my table. Never been to such a bad restaurant.

10/11/2025: Recently I went out for dinner — kind of a spontaneous decision, thanks to some bonus money I got from a website (it’s mentioned in the photo attached to this review). Decided to treat myself and it was totally worth it: the shrimp pasta was amazing — rich, creamy, and full of flavor.

17/11/2025: The restaurant is very charming, decorated in typical Calabrian style with hanging chili peppers. The staff is friendly and quick to serve. The dishes are generous and excellent. The price per person is around €40: there were three of us and we ordered two nduja "su fuoco", one potato with cheese, one magnum (giant croquette), one tartare, and three first courses. The gnocchi are excellent. A bottle of wine and one of water are included. Price €130. Paid street parking. Small dogs are welcome. Not wheelchair or stroller accessible (the restaurant is in the basement with two flights of stairs) except outside in the gazebo.

08/12/2025: A charming place, with qualified and friendly staff. Dishes prepared with attention to every detail. I ate very well. The Ferri wine from their cellar was also excellent. I'm very satisfied. I'll definitely be back.

17/11/2025: I've never used this term before, but I think "excellence" is the right word... unrivaled... just a mere word, however, that doesn't fully capture the essence of the culinary experience at "Il ristorante La Foresta." Every dish is a feast for the eyes and the palate... the pork-filled ravioli are a true delicacy... hand-sealed!!! The fillet with two peppers was butter... the fried porcini mushrooms were crispy and juicy... Sure, you pay, but the rest doesn't matter!!!!

21/10/2025: The Hotel is ok in shape. But: its nearly impossible to sleep there. We got 2 rooms. One inside, where the people did parties and the staff crashed glasses till 2 or 3 at night. The larger room had such bad isolated windows - you can hear everything on the streets. People talking. Sirens, cars, motorcycles driving by. Fleemarket beginning to build up at 0500. If you like your sleep - dont go there!

22/11/2025: The ordering system isn't the easiest, especially when there are a lot of you, but overall, the food is good, both Chinese and Japanese. There's no all-you-can-eat, and that positively impacts the quality.

22/11/2025: The experience at Oryza is always top-notch. The staff is fantastic, the food is incredibly fresh and prepared with extreme dedication and attention to detail. It's undoubtedly my favorite Asian restaurant.

07/09/2025: You have free parking, it is also accessible for people with disabilities, you have enough space. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is positive and the prices are affordable for every budget.

01/12/2025: It is one of the rare restaurants run by a Turkish owner. We ate home-cooked meals and they were very good, both the rice and the stews. The Turkish gentleman who took care of people was very friendly and sincere. If you want to eat a clean and delicious meal, I recommend you to visit this place. The prices are reasonable.

The only flaw is the glass-enclosed outdoor patio, which isn't well-heated, especially considering the glass wall overlooking the garden didn't guarantee good thermal insulation... an aspect that could be improved, but it doesn't detract from the quality of the place.

01/12/2025: Long review and I apologize. The villa is beautiful, very well-kept with ample parking. The indoor dining room isn't very nice, but the outdoor space with a glass wall is beautiful and well-kept. I had already been there with my sister and mother; we ate in the garden and were very well received. I'm vegetarian and found several options, thanks in part to the care and attention of the waiter. So I wanted to come back, bringing my boyfriend, to let him try something, since this year we have to organize the big family reunion for about 60 adults and a dozen teenagers and children, a challenge and a feat for whoever has to do it. 🤣😅 I told him, "Come on, they have plenty of space. I've eaten there and we'll find something for ourselves too." (He and I are vegetarians, in a family of omnivores.) Okay, I went on and on. The menu included two first courses; the waiter didn't offer us anything except the charcuterie and cheese platter. "I'll make you take the charcuterie off." I would have left, but my boyfriend was embarrassed. We ordered the two starters. The same indifferent reaction at the cashier. We paid around 40 or 43 euros for a glass of exceptional red wine, a bottle of water, a portion of chickpea gnocchi, I think, and a portion of chickpea and chestnut pasta soup. Very disappointed.

20/12/2025: The salad was very good, but the service was very bad.

16/12/2025: Discovered after a museum visit, an intimate corner of Rome even though it's right in the center. Excellent service, warm hospitality, and a refined menu, including vegetarian options. I will definitely return on future trips to Rome.
