27/08/2025: We dined at this restaurant the day before yesterday, a small group of friends, including an Englishman and a vegetarian. The daily menu is very simple: it offers an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, traditional Roman first courses, and grilled meats. The surprises come in the dishes not on the printed menu, namely the chef's suggestions, which are therefore different every day, according to the seasons and the inspiration of the day. The chef's appetizers are amazing; one portion is enough for two, and the quantities are enough to already be considered a dinner. We had fried pizzelle with ragù (plus a small fried calzone with mozzarella and zucchini flowers for the vegetarian version), filo pastry baskets with ricotta, croquettes and supplì (homemade), breaded and fried spaghetti frittatas, burrata, meatballs, Danish rolls... such a variety of small dishes and foods that I'm surely forgetting something. The first courses were also very good (ravioli with ricotta and saffron, spaghetti with Tagalog olives, stracciatella, and almonds) and the sliced ​​steak. The dessert was a fitting end: the tiramisu was excellent, and the baked bomb with custard was even better. A special mention goes to the two people who looked after us: a husband and wife, she serving, he the chef. I couldn't say which of the two was kinder and more helpful, both attentive and with a huge smile throughout the evening.

02/09/2025: Best Japanese restaurant in the Castelli Romani. Both traditional and original/reinterpreted dishes are available, ranging beyond the usual sushi. The veggie uramaki are a must-try. The atmosphere is quiet and you can dine al fresco.

09/08/2025: The quality is average, nothing spectacular, but the prices are. The wine served by the glass is ridiculous; I've never seen such a small quantity, even though I drink very little. The fact that you can't choose, or give directions on what you'd like to eat when ordering a boat, doesn't seem fair, just as I don't think it's fair not to be able to choose the mochi flavors... I wonder why, when you leave a less than positive review, you tend to denigrate the customer. No, I didn't want to save money; I wanted to choose, and we weren't given that opportunity. I almost never go to all-you-can-eat restaurants, especially Japanese ones. Do some healthy self-criticism; you might discover there's always room for improvement.

07/10/2025: I was passing by and saw a lot of locals so I went in. They were really friendly and the maritozzo and canelé were really delicious! The maritozzo bread itself was a little dry but oily so I thought it was fried and it was savory. The cream wasn't too sweet and it went well together. I recommend it!!! The canelé was also the best I've had in Rome. I regret only buying one ㅠㅜㅜ

03/09/2025: Returning to Falco d'Oro is always a pleasure, a guarantee of quality and flavor that never disappoints over the years. The dishes are prepared with care, using excellent ingredients and paying particular attention to authentic flavors, making each course a true experience. This year, however, I found an extra ingredient that made the evening truly special: Veronica, the woman who served us. With her extraordinary charm and natural warmth, she managed to transform a pleasant dinner into a serene and incredibly fun experience. Thanks to the restaurant for its impeccable hospitality and to Veronica for her contagious energy: I will always be happy to return, certain of not only an excellent culinary experience, but also a welcome that makes you feel at home.

20/08/2025: I've never tasted anything better. The owner, a very sweet old man, is disarmingly kind! Every time I come for a frappé, he treats me wonderfully. I would recommend it to everyone.

19/08/2025: Artisanal ice cream shop. Fresh fruit gelato made with seasonal ingredients. The owner always offers a generous sampling of new flavors. Definitely worth a try.

19/10/2025: I've been there several times. The food is very good for starters. The last time we had fried pasta was tough and inedible. Everything was fine except that they charge €7. Otherwise, I highly recommend the pasta starters.

10/10/2025: We went for dinner. The view from the terrace is incredible. You can see the roof of the pantheon plus other buildings around. The food was excellent. A mix of Italian dishes from the region but also from the south. The service was also good, specially with one of my friends that has a food intolerance.

10/10/2025: I'm revisiting the desserts because they're special, like the pastries, but I'd aim for a decent blend of coffee... I'm not talking about tea, but at least coffee. I recommend Valentina Palange's book on coffee; maybe you can take inspiration from it. The pastries are truly excellent, though expensive. They used to be priced by weight, now by piece. The Sachertorte is excellent, but I'd aim for a quality jam, given the price of a miniature Sachertorte measuring barely 2cm. The selection of teas and infusions is limited, but then again, it's not a teahouse.

06/10/2025: We celebrated a corporate event. The staff was available during the booking process, and the staff was friendly and professional throughout the event. The food was plentiful and of high quality. We were all very satisfied.

16/10/2025: Very disappointed in the gelato... Texture is of ice cream, lacking flavour and was served using an ice cream scoop coming from water, introducting water into the gelato. This was recommended to me and I had high expectations and this was a huge miss.
