Pappare' In Bologna

We went to Pappare' on a Saturday morning, we had a bit of a queue but the wait was rewarded with an excellent breakfast.

Reasonable prices, the pastries are excellent Very busy and crowded; Less comfortable to sit but very tasty!

Nice cafe in the busy part of town. Opens later than "usual" cafe time (till 19:00) witch is always a welcomed thing. And seems you can go there with your laptop if you want to finish few things or work. Took a double espresso and my only comment that it wasn't as acidic as I normally like my espresso, other than that it's good. The serve with a friendly smile, which is nice!

We came here for breakfast on all 3 days of our 3-day trip. In fact, we wanted to do it at a different place on the last day, but the croissants we ate did not make us that happy, so we came and ate them here once again to cheer us up. I don't prefer the stuffed varieties, but they also have both dessert and sandwich-like options. There is a queue here, just like everywhere else. After having your breakfast, you can get lost in the beautiful colorful streets. The location is very central. You can see it when you enter from the left of Asinelli. The atmosphere is very pleasant, it could be a good choice to start the day 🤌

I often have breakfast (or snack) to eat. The strong points are definitely the black croissants with lots of filling! my favorite is the one with pistachio and they do it really well here, especially the dough! You can digest it and it's wonderful! Cappuccinos and matcha lattes are also fantastic, higher than the average of other places (even if the price is slightly higher, but you pay for the quality, rightly so). On the "ground" floor there are both internal and external seats and it is quite quiet, even if sometimes a little too close (especially on weekends or during peak times). there are also tables on the -1 floor, but if you are there to study, work, briefing, or in company, you risk having little privacy and too much disturbing noise. The staff is friendly and polite, although I notice that some people change after a while. I recommend it to anyone, even just for a break!

Very tasty options! The only downgrade is the service which can be quite slow.

I’ve been there a couples of times and decided therefore to try their pancakes with butter and maple syrup and they were simple but delicious! I also got a cold brew with it, but my usual when I’m going there with friends is a simple cappuccino. The location is really cute as you can stay there and study, thus you will be surely be attracted by their huge bar counter of delicious croissants and biscuits that I haven’t still tried them out. The prices are a little bit over the average ones but I think sometimes is nice to try out different pastries and a more fulfilling breakfast/brunch.

Localino piccolo e veramente affollato. Funziona a self-service, quindi personale non particolarmente pervenuto. Grande varietà di scelta e ottime brioches. Certo i prezzi sono alti, ma per me, consigliato, se vi armate di pazienza.

Really enjoyed my breakfast pancakes and coffee (see photo).Staff were helpful with my very basic Italian. Very busy with quite a young crowd.
