My daughter dropped her ice cream because she had my phone in her hand to pay with my card, and she rudely made her pay for it because it was a cup and not a cone. 01/08/2026: Traveling north from Sicily, we stopped to visit the Certosa di Padula and discovered this restaurant almost by accident. A wonderful surprise: everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert, with carefully prepared dishes and excellent local products. The service was friendly and helpful, and the prices were more than fair. Highly recommended!

10/08/2026: Highly recommended for a great sandwich. The bread and fillings are very good. I tried a sandwich filled with mortadella, stracchino, arugula, and sun-dried tomatoes, all wrapped in a crispy ciabatta. The combinations of fillings and bread were spot on. The sandwiches are divided by cured meat (ham, mortadella, etc.). Good selection of beers and wines. The place is a cute kiosk, part of a series of kiosks offering a variety of food. I barely had to wait since it was a weekday lunch in August. Things would most likely change on weekends or in the evenings. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

12/05/2026: An unforgettable anniversary. I begin this review with a well-deserved mea culpa: neither my wife (a true Ferrarese) nor I (in Ferrara since 2011) had ever been to this wonderful restaurant. We decided to make up for it on Sunday, our twelfth wedding anniversary. The tasting menu tempted us, but we opted for à la carte lunch. I had an appetizer, first course, and second course; my wife had an appetizer, second course, and dessert. I believe the attached photographs speak for themselves when it comes to describing the elegance of the location and the beauty and quality of the dishes. I'll just point out that we thoroughly enjoyed some of the truly unusual, yet surprisingly successful, flavor combinations (for example, the wagyu with salmon in the signature main course, but also small details like the pairing of coffee and pineapple in the dessert). The food, course after course, was a true discovery, and we found ourselves laughing and joking, feeding each other samples so as not to miss anything, like two sweethearts. The aspect I'd like to focus on was the wonderful attentiveness of the service, which made us feel truly pampered throughout the meal. For example, since my wife hadn't ordered a first course, they still brought her an amuse-bouche to while away the time. Or, again without a word, my wife's second course was accompanied by a glass of the Japanese liqueur we'd spotted in the display case and commented on. Coincidence or the keen ear of an attentive maître d'? To top it off, a final surprise from the chef with his happy anniversary wishes, as pictured. The final surprise came when the bill arrived: truly very, very, very fair for the experience we had. We'll definitely be back to try the tasting menu.

30/12/2025: Amazing gelato and even warmer people! Highly recommend the tiramisu and crema — incredibly creamy and full of character, just like a grandma’s secret recipe. The staff were so patient and thoughtful with their introductions and flavor recommendations, which truly brightened my first day in Bologna. Can’t wait to come back for the June-only peach flavor! 🍑🍨✨

Even the wait times were impeccable: we never had to wait, but the service wasn't excessively fast either, allowing us to fully enjoy the moment and the atmosphere. In short, impeccable to say the least! Highly recommended.
