Friendly and welcoming owner. A lovely rustic little place in the center of Livorno. No frills, all substance. A lovely, Gorda schiacciata. This is a great place to satisfy your hunger.

Try for sure the spritz It is so big and so good!!! Amazing time They offer with the drink an apero tagliere that was very very good !!!! The only remark is the time to wait for the tagliere but in the meantime you are drinking your spritz Very good !! Good panini with good quality

A very pleasant place; we wanted to try the Italian sandwich and we weren't disappointed. The ingredients were high quality, with a good portion size, and cut right in front of us. We received a very warm welcome. I recommend it.

17/05/2026: A group of nine people, all satisfied with the food and service. The service was good, fast, and fully met our needs. The atmosphere was suitable for everyone. We will definitely be back. A well-deserved 5 stars.

Locanda il Grillo

06/06/2026: Wonderful experience! Nothing to say, because some restaurants have to be tried to be believed. We'd already received several positive reviews, and both the restaurant and the location piqued our interest. The restaurant is an ancient building, part of the medieval village, located just below the beautiful Rocca di Montefiore Conca. While dining outside, you can be captivated by the Rocca, which dominates the village square where Locanda Il Grillo is located. The atmosphere is quiet, hospitable, welcoming, and charming. The staff is friendly and always available to meet your every need. The service and wait times are very fast. The food? No comment!!! To say it was sublime is an understatement! Highly recommended on every level, and don't forget to try the super specialty... the Fazzoletti del Grillo... we still dream about them at night 🤗❤️
