02/11/2025: I think it's a good place if you want a different Saturday night or just want to relax in a generally safe and well-kept place. The food is good, but the desserts are too heavy for my taste (although they're American-style, making them perfect for those who like something very sugary). The prices aren't excessively high; perhaps I'd take a few euros off for a more reasonable price. As for the waiters, there are a few things to say; they're mostly friendly, but there are some in particular who just don't fit in. I understand the fatigue and patience required for every demanding customer, but it's not possible that only the curly-haired waiter stands out more than the others for his arrogance, lack of professionalism, and, frankly, lack of self-care. If you guys don't want to smile, fine, but don't show those obvious faces and you'll be in trouble; find another job if this doesn't make you happy. I'm writing this because other acquaintances of mine, and some who have written reviews, have also highlighted this detail. I urge the owner to be more selective about who he hires and to take action. Otherwise, I'll continue to come those couple of times a month.

05/05/2026: A hidden gem in a charming part of Naples, just steps from a scenic viewpoint with a beautiful city view. The food was outstanding — simple, authentic, and full of flavor. We loved the house wine, and the staff were warm and attentive. Prices are fair for the quality. We found it by chance and were really glad we did. Definitely worth a stop.

05/05/2026: A small and very authentic place in a beautiful area of Naples, just next to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the city. Everything was incredibly delicious — the food is truly outstanding. The service is excellent, the wine is great, and the prices are very reasonable. We found this place by chance and didn’t regret stopping by for a second. Definitely don’t pass it by!

31/08/2025: With the new management, rude staff and unpresentable quantity and quality of food since we took 3 half-empty and poor quality fish trays filled with lemon to increase the price.

17/01/2026: Well, what can I say? A flat, unleavened pizza that was left in our stomachs with barely any toppings... Basically, dough with a few pieces of toppings here and there... A flavorless first course... A frittata that was returned from the table and was kindly put back at the counter for the next customer! I thought I'd seen it wrong, but the people with us confirmed it... Never again!

06/11/2025: I wanted to get a Genovese takeout But they can only sell me the Sauce with meat Fine I'm going home There was no sauce Just a small piece of meat covered in onion For a whopping €7.00 Moral? I couldn't prepare the First course Yes, it was just a matter of throwing away €7.00 This shows the lack of customer service and the lack of transparency It would have been enough to say there was no Genovese Terrible experience

16/10/2025: The food is really good, and it's takeout. The service is generally good, but it varies from person to person (one of them was a little nervous. However, since I haven't been back, I think it was an isolated incident).

04/05/2026: Never again. I've never had a worse experience at a restaurant. Exactly an hour and a half of waiting for panuozzi, with no apology or warning from the waiters. The entire dining room lost patience, waiting so long for panuozzi that were "in the oven." The panuozzi, when they arrived, were burnt and the ingredients were of poor quality. When it came time to pay, no one at the cashier apologized for the terrible service (and for all the frustration they caused us), and on top of that, they didn't even give us an official receipt. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

02/05/2026: We ended up here because there was no room at Mascolo. The staff was friendly, and the place was also cute in the center of Gragnano's main square. The big problem was that we, like everyone else in our room, waited over an hour and a half for a panuozzo. No apology or justification came from the owner or the waitress, who, poor thing, had to deal with the angry customers alone and seemed accustomed to this routine. The panuozzo itself was poor, the bread very hard and served lukewarm. I strongly advise against stopping here as a fallback if you can't find a table elsewhere; it's better to leave Gragnano without eating the panuozzo.

15/02/2026: I went for the first time with my boyfriend, booking a table for Valentine's Day. The waiters were truly inefficient and quite distracted, not caring about their customers, even when clearing the plates. The icing on the cake were the dry pizzas, with parts of the dough left empty and without toppings. I'm sorry, but I won't be back.

08/01/2026: We discovered this place by chance, and it was a pleasant surprise. It's a pizzeria that also offers a wide selection of first courses and second courses of meat or fish, as well as many vegetable side dishes. The crocche and arancini are very good. Don't expect a fancy atmosphere; it's an old-fashioned place with excellent prices, designed for families and many workers who stop by for a good first course or pizza.

05/01/2026: Food: A very good crocco pizza and a very good panuozzo... Except for the 4 cheeses, which wasn't very inviting... The portion of fries and sausage wasn't bad... good. The value for money is good. Very quiet place with spectacular service. Very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

28/03/2026: I went to this place on Friday night. We were greeted by two girls, the same ones who work the coat check. There were eight of us. Give them credit for this review. If I could give it a 0, I would. We won't be back, and I don't recommend anyone to go. Terrible welcome and poor treatment of those who pay and say thank you.

31/01/2026: Just a stone's throw from home, it was a lovely discovery. The pizzas were excellent, as was the service and the welcome...we'll be back.

07/01/2026: The food was adequate, but the service was truly awful. I felt rushed when I ordered. I estimate that I came in around 10:30 PM to eat, and the pizzeria closed at midnight, so I had plenty of time. Also, when we ordered appetizers, one of them arrived different than we had ordered. The atmosphere was sparse, with no background music, and there was no one there, at least not the night I arrived.

13/08/2025: We stopped here for a late lunch on our way out of Napoli and it was so good! We left with full bellies and happy hearts. Some said the interior is outdated but I think it is country-style and simple, as would be expected in the area. Everything was clean and fresh!

12/05/2026: Now a regular for both lunch and aperitifs. The staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious. A wide selection of wines and a relaxing atmosphere.

30/04/2026: Yesterday, April 29, 2026, the ice cream I ordered was already melted. They even poured the dark chocolate quickly over the first flavor, so as not to spill it all over one side. Never again!

30/04/2026: I had sfogliatelle, both riccia and frolla. They were good and the price was right! The ice cream was a bit pricey...

05/05/2026: The portions weren't very generous, even though the owner said they were large. We had calamari with no sides, the mozzarella and meat lasagna had more tomato sauce than anything else, and the veal Milanese was overcooked. We saw the owner pour a beer, and since he'd made a mistake, he put it down and served the next course 20 minutes later, adding a little more beer for the head.

04/05/2026: Great food, delicious, and great value too. We ended up eating here twice!
