04/03/2026: I was a customer of this pizzeria for the first time, the owner is a wonderful person as is his wife, unfortunately I can't say the same about the pizzas, the dough was good and very soft but the ingredients left a lot to be desired, the tomato fillet was sour, the raw ham was the same, the other pizza was cream and cooked ham, the poor quality cooked ham was white (all fat) the cream was water, the ingredients ruined everything, I'm sorry but it's not a restaurant, for the price it was normal maybe €0.50 above the norm for a type of pizza so I don't understand the scarcity of the product

14/07/2026: May 22, 2026 - Pasta with potatoes, peas, and cuttlefish was okay. The fried anchovies were good, though not very generous. The tonnarelli with squid ink (definitely NOT!) and the desserts were nothing special. The wait was a bit too long. I'd also add that the bill, without a breakdown of what we ordered, shows a LACK of TRANSPARENCY. The price of €76.50 (for two of us), I found it a bit too high. There are definitely some areas that could be improved.

This shows the lack of customer service and the lack of transparency
It would have been enough to say there was no Genovese

The service is generally good, but it varies from person to person (one of them was a little nervous. However, since I haven't been back, I think it was an isolated incident).

01/06/2026: Fantastic!
We stopped at this tobacco bar for an aperitivo with seven of us, and it was a wonderful discovery. The location is incredibly convenient, practically across the street from the Armando Maradona Stadium, making it ideal both before a game and for a relaxing break in the area.
Despite our large group, the service was fast and impeccable. Spritzes and cocktails were beautifully prepared, accompanied by fresh and plentiful appetizers that everyone enjoyed. Besides the excellent aperitivo, the convenience of having a tobacco shop in the same location is a huge plus.

31/01/2026: Just a stone's throw from home, it was a lovely discovery. The pizzas were excellent, as was the service and the welcome...we'll be back.
07/01/2026: The food was adequate, but the service was truly awful. I felt rushed when I ordered. I estimate that I came in around 10:30 PM to eat, and the pizzeria closed at midnight, so I had plenty of time. Also, when we ordered appetizers, one of them arrived different than we had ordered. The atmosphere was sparse, with no background music, and there was no one there, at least not the night I arrived.

04/05/2026: Never again. I've never had a worse experience at a restaurant. Exactly an hour and a half of waiting for panuozzi, with no apology or warning from the waiters. The entire dining room lost patience, waiting so long for panuozzi that were "in the oven." The panuozzi, when they arrived, were burnt and the ingredients were of poor quality. When it came time to pay, no one at the cashier apologized for the terrible service (and for all the frustration they caused us), and on top of that, they didn't even give us an official receipt. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
02/05/2026: We ended up here because there was no room at Mascolo.
The staff was friendly, and the place was also cute in the center of Gragnano's main square.
The big problem was that we, like everyone else in our room, waited over an hour and a half for a panuozzo.
No apology or justification came from the owner or the waitress, who, poor thing, had to deal with the angry customers alone and seemed accustomed to this routine.
The panuozzo itself was poor, the bread very hard and served lukewarm.
I strongly advise against stopping here as a fallback if you can't find a table elsewhere; it's better to leave Gragnano without eating the panuozzo.

13/08/2025: We stopped here for a late lunch on our way out of Napoli and it was so good! We left with full bellies and happy hearts. Some said the interior is outdated but I think it is country-style and simple, as would be expected in the area. Everything was clean and fresh!

05/06/2026: Several times in Pompeii, we experienced a farcical dining experience. We waited approximately 35 minutes, and the waiter told us that the longer the wait, the fresher the food. Only about ten tables were occupied. He spent the entire evening yelling at his sole waitress, who remained ever smiling. Then he turned on the kitchen, shouting through the small window overlooking the kitchen and the main entrance of the restaurant, just making a lot of noise. We quickly ate our dinner to escape this spectacle worthy of a comedy sketch. I think this gentleman should hand over the reins to someone more competent, dynamic, and respectful of his staff. Oh, and I almost forgot, he calculated the bill himself, seemingly by guesswork...

03/06/2026: I was disappointed not by the food (all-you-can-eat), which was good overall, but by the fact that, having left some pizza on my plate, I was told I'd be charged an extra €5 because that's how it works (even though I wasn't told this at first). I wasn't disappointed by the small surcharge, but by the fact that we were new customers, and so for a small fee, you lost us. Above all, we were planning a birthday party, so just in case, I'd avoid it. If you charge me a €5 surcharge for a small pizza, let alone a party of at least 30 people, what surprises could I have found? These little pranks lose customers.

01/06/2026: Saturday night, all-you-can-eat. The pizza dough, in my opinion, was smaller than usual. The pizza was cooked well, without burning. A very interesting menu, with pizzas for all tastes. The fried pizza as an appetizer didn't leave any positive impressions, remaining fairly neutral. The pizzas aren't bad, certainly a compliment to the imagination and creativity. The flavors are okay, nothing extraordinary. The service, at times, is a bit slow. All in all, it's an average pizzeria.

28/03/2026: I went to this place on Friday night. We were greeted by two girls, the same ones who work the coat check. There were eight of us. Give them credit for this review. If I could give it a 0, I would. We won't be back, and I don't recommend anyone to go. Terrible welcome and poor treatment of those who pay and say thank you.

05/06/2026: Beware customer service is not a priority. Cashier had a little bit of an attitude even though there was noone else in the store. Ice cream melted the second got served in the cones. Definitely not going back to this location.

02/03/2026: Midweek in the middle of February and this place was pretty empty, surviving mostly on take away orders. Then we turned up and wanted to eat inside. The lads were very accommodating and we had a fantastic meal with drinks (the beer was cold and the house red wine was delicious). The pizza was so tasty and fresh whilst the prices were very reasonable. The 50cm pizza was enormous - so large that my 19 year old son couldn’t finish it!! Go with the single pizza, it’s plenty big enough for one hungry person.
4 pizzas, half a dozen beers and a litre of wine was about €65. Great value.
We returned the next night, and the following night as well.
