18/10/2025: First of all I wanted to move a table because we’re seated by the corner area by the stairs and that corner had a plant with cigarettes on the floor and people coming up and down there, but the other server said we couldn’t move, so we just stayed there. And we order caprese salad and tomato salad which is not good at all, the tomatoes was to sour and the fresh mozzarella was not good. And the server suggested the fresh fish of the day, it happened to be for two persons, so we wind up getting that, the fish was actually very fresh but it was poorly executed, because the pasta that came with it was too salty and I couldn’t taste the lemon sauce at all that was supposed to be, so I wind up asking for a lemon to ease down the saltiness. First bad meal we had so far in Italy.

13/10/2025: I loved the atmosphere and the service was solid. We were told by our server about the “fish of the day” which we decided to order even though the price was not listed as it would vary based on market price. They brought out a tray of fresh fish and we got to choose which one we wanted to eat. We selected the red snapper and a little while later the tray with the fish and pasta was brought out. Our server took apart the fish and divided the dish onto 2 separate plates. It honestly looked like it was going to be great… but the fish itself was filled with bones and scales. Even in the pasta itself every bite I was finding scales and bones (and I was looking!) The issues for me comes down to price, I understand that maybe I just had some bad luck, and the fish I ordered was difficult to properly separate. But my partner and I only ordered the fish of the day and some water and the total price was €89. I believe that based on the other reviews this place has some solid offerings. But based on my own experience this was really disappointing.

22/02/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo ed il servizio è stato velocissimo sia sui crudi che sui cotti. Qualità molto buona e nessun disturbo dopo. Il locale è molto carino.

04/08/2025: I had excellent appetizers reflecting the Campania tradition and beyond, and a good sandwich. The owner and staff were very friendly and passionate about the industry. The beers they offer are truly excellent, adding to the value.

07/10/2025: Top experience! The yogurt was delicious and the selection of flavors is truly vast. But what struck me most was the kindness of the staff, the very friendly people! They really make me want to come back; sometimes even just a little kindness and friendliness makes the evening perfect.

21/08/2025: Wide selection of yogurts, crepes, and other delicacies. Various options for celiacs and lactose intolerants. The food quality is good, so lines can sometimes be a bit long, so it's best to choose off-peak hours.

19/06/2025: They decided to make you order the yogurt at the cashier and then call your name when it's ready. That said, they don't offer you the lactose-free alternative and 10 seconds after the order was placed at the cashier and paid, they also called me. When I asked if it was possible to make the yogurt without lactose, he told me that he had already made both (in 10 seconds I repeat) and could not remake at least one because he was lactose intolerant, giving me the yogurt as it was anyway. I can understand that it was my mistake but he could have been a little kind and not lost 1 + X customers for 1 euro of yogurt, think about it better next time maestro

24/10/2025: Self-service restaurant. Excellent paccheri with mussels and potatoes, truly flavorful and well-prepared. The portions are perhaps a little smaller than expected... but the quality more than makes up for it! Highly recommended for those looking for a traditional dish made with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail.

13/10/2025: Truly not that worth it, minimal experience, food is not interesting, minimal. A bit of a hype for the price. Good for people who know nothing about Italy.

11/05/2025: We ate there one evening, by far the BEST restaurant we went to during our stay. Outstanding quality food, fresh and homemade, every mouthful of food was amazing. No surprise there was a long queue soon after we arrived but well worth the wait! Advised to go early evening to get a table. Staff friendly and lovely family dog.

10/05/2025: I never usually leave reviews, but I had to this time. Azz! in Sorrento was simply outstanding. I had the lasagna and a pizza – both were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The vibe was relaxed yet elegant, and the staff were genuinely welcoming. One of those places you remember long after the meal. Don’t miss it if you’re in town.

18/10/2025: Restaurant in the ghost town of old Apice, expectations were high. Difficulty viewing the menu QR code (I had to go outside to see the menu). Poor service (we ordered a €35 sparkling wine and it was served poorly: it was opened and left on the table). Good pizza.

14/09/2025: I'll start by saying that I don't usually write reviews; I do them when I want to praise a place or when (as in this case) the overall rating on Google is very different from my experience. We booked a table for three people for 9:15 PM and showed up on time. No one at the front desk knew about our reservation, but our order was taken half an hour after we arrived. Well, we ate our pizza two hours after arriving (close to closing time), while other people decided to leave in the meantime. Given that, being there for the first time, we wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and assume it was just one of those classic nights where everything goes to pieces and there's little to manage, what really went wrong? 1. In the middle of our wait, we were told that our pizzas would exceptionally arrive early, in about five minutes (and they arrived an hour later). 2. There was considerable discomfort between us and the waiters, and this was obvious, but there are alternatives to sterile, albeit well-intentioned, apologies (offering a coffee at the end of the meal, a dessert, or whatever). Well, these last two points differentiate the good management of a bad evening from a careless and improvised one. And it's a shame, because the foundations for offering a welcoming place and high-quality food are there.

02/11/2025: The place is welcoming. The pizzas are delicious, well-cooked, made with a soft, light dough and very easy to digest.

10/08/2025: Food: Superb pizzas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: They don't speak English or French, and they have trouble understanding precise Google Translate instructions in Italian, which can be annoying... Atmosphere: Tourists seem like a local curiosity outside the city center, which can be surprising at first and become uncomfortable.

13/10/2025: I didn't feel comfortable, the bartender was very rude, the waiters were rude and arrogant, the food was awful.

12/10/2025: A different and enjoyable evening, I had a great time. Despite being sold out, the staff was always attentive and impeccable.

23/08/2025: Leaving the Royal Palace of Caserta late and hungry, I searched Just Eat for pickup food and came across this place. I ordered and for only 10 euros I took home so many delicious things! Croquettes, pizza, and pasta frittatas! When we got there, we saw that there was an option to eat there, so we did. Everything was super, the pizza was truly top-notch, but the frittata... out of this world. Then we stayed near Latina and met a couple from Marcianise, and they told us we'd found the best... and even though we haven't tried any in the area, we won't try any others if we pass by again!!! Everything was super plentiful and good! Thanks

20/09/2025: I loved this restaurant. Calm and peaceful atmosphere with a panoramic view of the golf course. Very professional service. Very good food. One small drawback: parking is a bit of a hassle. Well, it's all over the Almafita coast, especially for a large car.

14/09/2025: I had dinner last night, a magical atmosphere and a unique welcome, exquisite food and above all my compliments go to the waiters Federica and the other guy, I don't remember his name now (basically her boyfriend) beautiful, polite and cheerful... congratulations, we will definitely be back.

16/11/2025: First of all, bottles of water brought to the table without asking. It's annoying; the waiter doesn't even greet you, he just leaves them and walks away. It's an unfair marketing tactic, typical of a small-town bar. - Appetizers without salt or flavor, and small, too. - SMALL pizzas, nothing special, nothing special that makes it worth returning for. The only overpowering flavor was the provola. - Rubbery dough, hard to digest; in fact, the next day, I and two others with me had stomach aches. - Owners always overtaxed the waiters and dining room staff, effectively stressing everyone out and rushing around. People don't work under pressure; if anything, they're better organized. - Slightly long wait times. - Prices that honestly don't reflect the mediocre quality. This place was probably once a reference point in Aversa, but it's now lost its former glory. I was curious to try it, but I don't think I missed anything.

01/11/2025: A place we'll gladly return to: excellent pizza and reservations are available (even on Saturdays). Prices could be better...

19/08/2025: An Italian-French restaurant in Sorbo Serpico We happened upon this delightful restaurant by chance on the August bank holiday. To our surprise, we discovered that the owners and chef are both Italian and French. We sat down and were surrounded by great hospitality, in an oasis of tranquility, courtesy, and kindness. The food was delicious and well-prepared, with just the right amount of flavor, and in a general context that emphasizes the use of salt, it allowed the flavors of the ingredients to shine through without altering their taste. I really enjoyed the escargots, which are hard to find in Italy. I was pleasantly surprised by the perfect blend of gorgonzola and porcini mushrooms, which allowed you to appreciate the flavor of pasta cooked just right al dente. The filet mignon was also excellent, with a mustard sauce that was well-balanced in flavor and saltiness. For dessert: we expected the crème brûlée, which is on the menu, but unfortunately it wasn't available. The baba we were served was a bit disappointing, both for the little-to-no rum-based syrup and the unusual plating, with honey and sprinkles (!) We discovered they also make fondue, and we've made plans to return to try it. A pleasant experience, with light and easily digestible dishes. Highly recommended.
