30/06/2025: I was invited to a birthday party. The place is cozy, we ate outside and it was great, on one side a large green lawn very well kept. Dinner was great, the homemade gnocchi were spectacular, everything was good. I highly recommend it.

19/08/2025: This pub is located in Este along the SR 10, heading towards Monselice. The atmosphere is modern but with Anglo-Saxon touches. The menu offers both sandwiches and pizza, with a wide selection to choose from. Both options offer excellent quality. The owner also offers a wide selection of beers. I highly recommend an evening at this pub.

23/07/2025: We're intrigued by the unique offerings, almost unique in the city. The experience is ultimately positive, but there are a few key points to note: the atmosphere is pleasant, cleverly casual, informal, and friendly. The "book and sit" formula, already seen in other chains, allows you to skip the hassle of ordering and choose your own seating. At the end of July, it might be nice to find the air conditioning working and not have to request it after an unexpected, mandatory sweating session, but the very limited staff can also lead to these oversights. There you have it. This is one of the important things: just three people managing all this simply can't handle it, and it shows. Despite their extreme helpfulness and kindness, the limited staffing affects wait times and, to some extent, the quality of the dishes. The menu offers a wide selection, with a predominantly vegetarian focus, and interesting recipes. We ordered eggplant parmigiana medallions, an excellent pasta dish with tuna, and a quinoa salad with vegetables and olives. Everything was very good, but inevitably tainted by the frenzy of just three people, one of whom was a regular, facing a large crowd. The pasta was cooked in a hurry and too al dente, failing to appreciate the superior sauce. The same goes for the eggplant medallions, where the slices still taste like unsalted vegetables and salad. One more person—or two very experienced ones—would have avoided all this. However, we believe these are youthful flaws and that more experience would be enough to correct them. We'll gladly return to check. The price is very affordable and in line with the type of offering.

06/08/2025: È la prima volta che chiedo il conto e me ne vado senza ordinare. Arriviamo puntuali all’orario indicato dalla prenotazione su TheFork: le 21.00. La cameriera ci informa che avevamo la prenotazione alle 19.30, non alle 21, e chiama la maître. La maître reitera la stessa cosa, ma noi mostriamo la conferma di TheFork, dove è chiaramente scritto “21.00”. Nonostante questo, continuano a comportarsi come se l’errore fosse nostro. Alla fine ci fanno accomodare comunque, in un tavolo che era libero – il motivo di tutto questo teatrino rimane inspiegabile. Una volta seduti, ci portano l’acqua. È anche l’ultima volta che vediamo qualcuno per i successivi 30 minuti, orologio alla mano. Dopo mezz’ora riusciamo a fermare una cameriera per ricordarle che una persona al tavolo ha intolleranze alimentari (comunicate anche in fase di prenotazione). Lei chiama la maître. Quando arriva, le facciamo presente che siamo stati completamente ignorati fino a quel momento e che da un posto del genere ci aspetteremmo un altro tipo di accoglienza. La sua risposta, con tono autoritario, è che lei “non si è fermata un attimo” e che “si serve in ordine di arrivo”. Le facciamo notare che questo non giustifica il trattamento ricevuto. Senza risponderci, chiama la chef. La chef arriva con un atteggiamento freddo e inquisitorio: senza nemmeno salutare, inizia a chiederci a che ora siamo arrivati e a parlare della prenotazione, probabilmente già informata dell’errore (che però continuano a scaricare su di noi). All’ennesima mancanza di rispetto e all’atteggiamento ostile – culminato con la frase “da me cosa volete, vi posso offrire un bicchiere di vino” – decidiamo che non è questo il clima in cui vogliamo passare una serata romantica. Chiediamo il conto. La risposta, ancora una volta arrogante: “L’acqua ve la offro io, potete andare”. Mi dispiace non aver provato nulla del menù, che probabilmente sarà anche ottimo, ma un trattamento del genere non lo merita nemmeno la più anonima delle trattorie.

05/08/2025: We had a seven-course tasting menu at Chiaroscuro, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish took us on a journey through local flavors, crafted with incredible technique and creativity. Every course seemed to outdo the one before it, we genuinely couldn’t pick a favorite. The balance of bold flavors and elegant presentation was masterful. Service was flawless, attentive without being intrusive, and the evening ended with a special touch: the head chef personally coming out to greet us, which made the experience even more memorable. A true must-visit for food lovers in the area.

22/03/2025: Il Caffè del Viale, locale storico e rinomato di Dalmine e dintorni, sono certa che si sia guadagnato la sua giusta fama per la completezza offerta. Ambiente ampio e arredato con stile, con poltroncine interne che più ergonomiche non si può, con un'avvolgenza e comodità uniche, assieme allo spazio esterno, conviviale e riservato allo stesso tempo. Bancone ampio in cui ognuno può trovare il suo spazio perfino nei momenti di punta. Scelta ampia di dolci e salati, con possibilità di personalizzazione, con ingredienti freschi uniti a pane e brioche di prima categoria. E poi, last but not least, l'identità di un locale è definita dal suo personale, soprattutto in un bar che esercita da prima dell'alba alla sera, con un impegno profuso direi assoluto. E sappiamo tutti che stare al pubblico è complesso: eppure, in mezzo alla gentilezza delle ragazze alla macchina del caffè, al bancone e che si aggirano tra i tavoli con un servizio impeccabile, è impossibile non sottolineare ed esaltare, direi che ci sta davvero, il sorriso e la gentilezza di Paola, che la rendono ai miei occhi come il deus ex machina de Il Caffè del Viale, come la sua impronta distintiva. Non ha quella gentilezza affettata un po' falsa che trovi spesso, in cui ci si sforza di essere cortesi ma in realtà si odia il proprio ruolo o non si è tagliati: Paola è energia pura, sempre, in qualsiasi ora del giorno e con qualsiasi condizione atmosferica, ha un talento, una dote che è innata, non si può sbagliare. Quindi, se vi alzate la mattina, o durante il giorno o a fine giornata vi sentirete abbattuti e demotivati, ricordatevi che Paola ha a che fare con tutti noi, spesso rompipalle a prescindere, e che a tutti noi riesce a sorridere, a dimostrarci un'affabilità unica. Se ci riesce lei, ecco, prendiamo esempio e mettiamo un po' di quella bellezza di Paola nelle nostre giornate e quando la incontrate, ringraziatela: è il minimo. Grazie Paola, "ti si vole bene".

15/07/2025: I dined at this osteria recently, and the overall experience was good. I found some of the choices a little off, such as the table setting, which was a bit sloppy, with cutlery and glasses found everywhere. Overall, the food is good, but perhaps the prices are a bit too high for the quality and quantity.

28/06/2025: I took normal focaccia and with onions. You can't resist taking a piece of focaccia to eat it by the sea. I didn't like the excess oil that dripped and seemed to have been put on after cooking. I understand, however, that as a Genoese I am too critical

21/06/2025: My wife and I spent a couple of days in Laigueglia and you can't miss going to the Tuchetin focacceria. The first thing I notice is the smiling and professional staff, for me this is fundamental... once I got home in the evening I tasted the focaccias I bought... I was speechless! I'll start by saying that I bought various slices to taste different flavors and the one with Venere rice and the whole wheat one were my favorites. Soft, tasty and flavorful. Young team! Congratulations guys, I'll give you a good advertisement when I return to Canton Ticino (CH).
