06/08/2025: An average place in a quite busy street. Some of the staff was a little irritating. Maybe a bad day. We were having morning coffee and sandwitches. The sandwitches was not bad. Quite a pricey pricey place if you compare the price of coffee and canoli to other places in Venice.

06/08/2025: My friend and I got an anchovy cookie here. It came out faster than it went in (all over the place). Stomach aches, nausea, and deathly ill in bed. Not recommended!

04/09/2025: I've been a customer of this pastry shop for over 15 years, practically a second home. Today, sadly, it's become unrecognizable: a place that has completely lost its soul. The prices have become simply ridiculous: €1.80 for a rice pudding (once the symbol of Florentine pastry, now a luxury for inattentive tourists), €3.50 for a tiny grandmother's cake that disappears in two bites. The "normal" pastries have shrunk so much they look like miniature pastries: a year ago (the last time I set foot there), I pointed this out, thinking they'd mistakenly served me a miniature pastry, and the bartender shamelessly replied, "But this is normal." No, this is a joke! Furthermore, they've introduced the absurd €1 drink-at-the-table charge, even though I've always returned the cups to the counter—shameful to say the least. A policy that tramples on loyal customers to wink only at "hit-and-run" tourists. And now, instead of focusing on quality and their old customers, they prefer to reinvent themselves as a "trendy" place, serving cocktails until 1 a.m. on Wednesdays. But there's nothing left of the real pastry shop, the kind we knew, unless you want to take out a loan for a coffee and mortgage your car to maybe eat two pastries instead of one. What was once a staple of Florence is now just another soulless establishment that thrives on appearances and inflated prices. A betrayal of those who supported them for years; I'll never set foot there again.

07/09/2025: Last but not least. Well-deserved stars for the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff. Kudos also to Alessandro, one of the owners and a great animal lover. Highly recommended.

28/08/2025: The staff is very friendly, but the pizza leaves a bit to be desired. It only makes sense if you book with the The Fork discount, otherwise paying full price isn't worth it. They don't even have a proper dining room, but just an outdoor patio that I think they close in the winter.

01/09/2025: The food and service were ok, and the atmosphere was also good despite the small space... but that's not their fault.

14/08/2025: The cappuccino and croissant were good. The price was right at €5. The sour cherry pie wasn't up to par: the dough was too soft and it was all crumbly, it was full of jam (there was very little cream, I can't describe the flavor) and it didn't have a whole sour cherry in the center, which would have been nice.

26/08/2025: €23 for 2 sun loungers and umbrellas in complete peace. Friendly staff. The beach is long and breezy.

18/08/2025: We're talking about a beach resort that publishes illegal regulations on spiagge.it prohibiting the entry of food from outside the establishment onto the beach. It's an affront to Italian law, and they don't even bother to hide it. Shame on you!

05/02/2025: Very good food, but the waitress insists upon entry that you eat only a small amount of food and only a certain number of courses. Never happened to an all-you-can-eat restaurant.
