After a pleasant stroll along the Lungotevere, we stopped for lunch at Panificio Nazzareno, which turned out to be an excellent choice. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted warmly: the waiter immediately brought us water and menus, making us feel at ease. The food is typically Roman, rich and inviting. We started with a sampling of zucchini flowers, beautifully prepared and delicious, and then continued with excellent gnocchi all'amatriciana, truly flavorful and well-balanced. To finish, a delicious shortcrust pastry tart with cream and homemade berries: a sweet finale worthy of the meal. The location is well-kept and pleasant, and the bill is absolutely average. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it!

Beyond the bakery is an unexpected setting, simple and refined, with a relaxing atmosphere. The service was prompt, and the bill was fair. The dishes were excellent and delicately paired. I would gladly return.

The beauty of Panificio Nazareno is that it's one of those places where you can find a little bit of everything, without having an endless menu that only makes choosing difficult. The menu is well-thought-out, varied, and comprehensive. From pizza to pasta, from fried foods to fish, even burgers: it's a classic place where you eat well and want to return time and time again, choosing something different each time. Among the things I enjoyed most were definitely the fried foods, both fish (octopus and anchovies) and the great Roman classics. The supplì are excellent, while the zucchini flower deserves a special mention: crispy on the outside and full of stringy mozzarella on the inside (I really appreciated this). The pizza is also very good, classic Roman fare. The first courses, burgers, and salmon tartare were satisfying. The prices are fair. I also recommend it for a classic Italian breakfast: croissant and cappuccino.

A good bakery with bar service, breakfast, brunch, and pizza by the slice. Everything is homemade, from the baked goods to the bread and desserts. Attentive and courteous service, a classic location with a few retro touches, and prices that don't always match the quality and expectations.
