02/12/2025: "L'Otium, a World Heritage Site!" is the slogan I'd associate with this restaurant. The location, overlooking the skyline of the Sella del Diavolo, at the first stop on the Poetto seafront, is priceless, as is the food, my favorites being the seafood fregula or the legendary fried calamari with chips. All the other specials are also delicious, some of which are daily based on the catch of the day. The restaurant is easily accessible by city buses (from the Matteotti stop in Cagliari city center with buses PF and PQ and, in the summer, with the Potto Express and 5ZE). It's advisable to book, especially on weekends, as the restaurant is extremely popular and often sells out the day before.
13/11/2025: Nice spot to have a lunch nearby the sea, with a great sardinian sun.
I suggest to try fregula and sardinian mied fried fish, those are their best dishes and the best ones to try in a beach chiosco.
The prices are a little bit on the higher side, but you'll have a nice lunch.

09/11/2025: It's the first place I go to eat every time I return from the "north" to my Salerno (and if a Neapolitan says so, you can trust me) 😁. The pasta and quality of the ingredients make the 🍕🍕 exceptional, accompanied by impeccable service and a welcoming, well-kept environment with attention to detail. I recommend going midweek if you want to enjoy a moment of tranquility and excellent cuisine. See you next time 👍

29/10/2025: Tasty ice cream, medium size with 3 flavours was 4.5 euros and you can get water for free. I especially liked the almond flavor.
24/10/2025: I went to the ice cream shop today, curious to try their gelato and attracted by the unique flavors. I got a cone for €4.50, three flavors. Halfway through the cone, a thin, light-colored hair/thread/hair appears in the middle of the gelato. I pull it and extract it from the cone; it was at least 3 cm. Something that had never happened before, I threw it all away, what a shame.

09/12/2025: Sky-high prices, looks can be deceiving, the food isn't what it seems, lots of focaccias but terrible flavor, very salty and cold. The only kind person was the cashier, the rest were very sour.

30/11/2025: What a cozy little place! If you like the mixture of modern days' furnitures, due to the gallery and its poles a bit industrial lines and a warm, jazzy background music with nice, old objects around, this is your place.
The service fee surprised me a bit, but that might be just a cultural difference. I like to tip, it's just weird when the amount is fixed. But if you don't want to pay 0,60 Euro for that, you can have your coffee by the bar with the locals. 😊

30/09/2025: The ice creams are good. The clerk, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. She gets annoyed because her terminal doesn't have a connection to pay €3.50, then, as if it were my fault, she sends me to withdraw money from the ATM, throwing my pod into a random cup in the refrigerator. I return less than five minutes later, and she's on the phone without paying attention to me. Eventually, she takes the money and continues on the phone without giving me the now-melted pod. Taste 5/5, clerk 0/5

17/10/2025: Had a delicious vegetarian meal without even realizing it. The service was friendly and they spoke English. We received good service. The lunch menu was in Italian, but it was easy to explain. The waitress was very helpful. The food was absolutely delicious.
12/10/2025: Very nice place, American mini-café style. The owner and staff are all very kind and helpful. Desserts, wine, and meals are available. Average portions, prices are not too low but are consistent with the quality. A small, shaded patio with seating for 3-4 inside, and a produce shop. We were satisfied. It's nice to see such modern places, even where traditional cuisine features a lot of animal products.
