Beach restaurant with direct access to the sea. Overall, good quality, but nothing memorable. I had the trio of seafood appetizers cooked with cuttlefish, which tasted frozen and prepared well in advance. The Cannonau red wine was kept in the refrigerator at a low temperature and probably a bit stale. The seafood fregola was served with a good sauce, although it was still made with frozen cuttlefish, and the mussels were fresh. The fresh fish from the counter was good, but farmed. Only two desserts were homemade, the others from the Bindi catalog.

The place is very pleasant, its location makes it the top choice among seaside restaurants in Cagliari's Poetto area, with the Sella del Diavolo on one side and the first stop and Poetto beach on the other. The staff is very courteous and professional, and the number of guests is adequate. Service is quite prompt, and the food is on par with many other more renowned restaurants. The price is medium-high, certainly not cheap, but it reflects the beauty of the location. It deserves its 4 stars.

The food is excellent, and the service is truly beautiful. Unfortunately, and this is why I'm taking away two of the 5 stars I wanted to give, a 10% service charge was added to our bill, which we knew nothing about and wasn't even listed on the menu. To justify the rip-off, we were told it was the cover charge, which is reasonable on a €70 bill. In fact, we didn't make a fuss about a €7 cover charge, but on a bill that's over €200?

It's been a reliable source of inspiration for years now, and I know that if I want a first course that's worthy of the name, this is the only one that makes me soar!
We had the AMAZING fregola, the FABULOUS trofie, and the AWESOME mussels with clams marinara style.
(The trofie aren't in the photo because my boyfriend decided to undo the plating because he was hungry.)
