14/09/2025: The ice cream was good, but it could use a little more attention. After fiddling with the money, the guy kept grabbing cones and biscuits with his bare hands, and I have to say that noticing him left me a bit perplexed and annoyed. The place is nice and the ice cream was good, but a shame, a handkerchief would have been enough.

30/10/2025: The only bar in the Duomo area offering a €10 aperitivo, including a cocktail and appetizers. The waiters are incredibly helpful and polite. They're also careful to provide helpful explanations to foreign customers like my friend. Highly recommended! I'll be back!

20/12/2025: We found the pizza very salty and undercooked. The wait was very long (we arrived at 8 and ate at 10). The fries on the pizza were undercooked, and the speck was cut too thick (I recommend a thinner cut!).

19/09/2025: Special because you don't have to book when you arrive if there is room you come in otherwise you wait at 9.15pm who is inside eats who is outside GOODBYE is the only rule for the rest you eat a lot and well and you pay little

12/12/2025: A very typical Trieste buffet, with a typical clientele, for those who want to enjoy a bit of the rustic Trieste lifestyle. The counter features cicchetti (small appetizers) and a menu featuring typical Trieste-style dishes. For lunch, I had a lovely large plate of cooked ham, porcini mushrooms, sauerkraut, and horseradish—all delicious! Friendly staff, excellent location in the city center.
13/11/2025: Perfect, both the hot dishes offered and the canapés and the like, not to mention the good wines. Everything is always excellent, as is the fast and always very friendly service.

23/09/2025: We visited them for the first time to try the mutton as it's prepared here, called 'in cappotto'. I'd never eaten it cooked this way, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The portion was very generous, accompanied by potatoes and carasau bread soaked in the mutton broth. You could also choose the tripe menu. Highly recommended for lovers of this authentic cuisine.
11/09/2025: I've been coming here for years, it's a shame that it's the end of their season, but the pig is always the best.

07/12/2025: This pastry shop is a true delight! The counter displays all kinds of delicacies. An excellent selection of artisanal chocolates. A delicious selection of dry pastries, including the cantucci and ricciarelli, of course, are a must-try, and they're also available in pre-packaged bags. The panforte, both traditional and with figs and walnuts, is a must-try. You can also find it pre-packaged or have it cut for you at the counter. Super fresh!
There are tables both inside and outside the pastry shop for on-the-go dining.
I also serve it with a hot drink.

16/11/2025: Very beautiful, unique location. Friendly staff. In my opinion, it's very expensive. For two cocktails and a poor-quality entree, I paid €45. I think that's excessive. We're not talking about elaborately prepared food that would justify the price. Besides, why do I have to pay a €2 cover charge? I'm sorry, but I don't recommend this place unless you want to waste your money.

20/10/2025: My boyfriend and I went for lunch a month ago to celebrate our anniversary... we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place! Our table was in the back, overlooking the water, right in the sun.
It was a gorgeous day and an excellent lunch, combined with the kindness of the waitresses who served us!
The place was recommended to us by his parents, who have been there before. We had two starters, dessert, and a bottle of rosé—all delicious!
08/10/2025: The two of us, including our dog, got the best spot between the rushing waters of the river. Two place settings were immediately brought for an appetizer—three polenta variations—which we wanted to share. The main courses were—of course—tortellini (a choice of four was recommended) and shark in a green sauce. Everything was attractively presented and flavorful. Matching wines were recommended. The dessert was also impressive, the whole thing a harmonious symphony. The service was very attentive, and language barriers were discreetly and sensitively addressed. We felt very valued as guests. Unreservedly recommended.
