16/06/2025: Loved this place! Amazing orange wine and the pistachio lasagna is a must. Mixed meats and beef tartare were delicious too. Service was slow, but totally worth the wait for the food and vibe.

01/06/2025: Bad service, but the food bumped my experience from 2 to 3 stars. Service was slow, inattentive, and a little rude. For example, while we were waiting for a table, I tried to ask the waitress a quick question but was met with an abrupt “I am busy serving other people.” before I got even two words out. Like, what if I was just asking where the restroom was? Not a great way to treat a customer. Anyways, we were left waiting at the bar for a really long time before we gave up on the outdoor seat, then just asked to eat inside. We ate and got served relatively quickly, and the food was great. However, another ding was that we ordered a salad and never received it. But at this point, we were too tired to escalate. Overall; the pasta and wine was good. Service was not.

20/06/2025: I went a couple of times at the opening, the pizza is delicious, the guys are kind and helpful.

16/05/2025: I took two take-away pizzas and was pleasantly surprised by the light dough and the quality of the ingredients, the guys are kind and very fast, in 4 minutes I already had the pizzas in my hand, well done!

29/05/2025: Gelato buonissimo, di qualità. Le signorine al banco poco sorridenti e poi vorrei capire la differenza fra un cono da 3euro e uno da 1.50 perché la quantità è SEMPRE la stessa.

27/05/2025: Siamo arrivati alle 12,30 che per Roma era abbastanza presto e così abbiamo trovato posto ad un tavolino all’aperto. Si va al banco a scegliere il cibo e poi ti servono loro molto velocemente. Era tutto buonissimo e abbondante, ottime verdure, buonissima frittata con zucchini e pomodori ripieni accompagnato da fette di pane tostate calde con un filo di olio d’oliva. Personale romano è veramente simpatico e gentile. Inoltre i prezzi sono veramente contenuti: 2 piattini misti con ottimo pane e acqua per meno di 20 euro. Inoltre avevo dimenticato la mia giacca di pelle sulla sedia all’aperto: dopo più di un’ora sono tornata e me l’avevano messa da parte. Consigliatissimo

25/05/2025: Stopped in for a morning coffee and pastry on our first morning in Rome. Our order was taken by a young lady who was very direct and short with our order taking. We didn’t worry about it, got our order to go, and left. We walked outside and saw there were tables. My mom sat down while I was standing on my phone figuring out our next destination and route. The same young lady walked out and very rudely told us we could not sit there, that we paid less to take away, and that we needed to leave. I have no problem if that is their policy, but there is no need to be rude about it. Terrible customer service.

29/08/2024: Durante la nostra vacanza a Lido del Sole ci siamo recati per 3 volte in questo negozio. Sempre accolti con estrema cordialità da una ragazza molto gentile che ci ha fatto sentire a nostro agio. Pane buonissimo. Consigliamo quello a forma di ciambella e la pizza bianca al rosmarino. Ampia scelta di croissant ben farciti.

30/05/2025: After an initial failure of the new management I felt like changing my review for this restaurant because now after three times that we returned for lunch I have to change my mind the portions and the quality of the dishes are back to what they once were! Everything is excellent from the carbonara to the tripe to the rosticciana to the side dishes, the price as always is excellent compared to the quality and quantity of the dishes, the courteous service is quick and precise the environment is welcoming and rustic, the desserts are also excellent especially the tiramisu, very good!

10/06/2025: Update, I used to go there often but over time they have gotten worse, the pizza is truly pitiful, the quality of the ingredients is terrible, not to mention the poor hygiene and the place that never changes, identical to 3 years ago, grumpy owner.

05/06/2025: We had house appetizers and caprese, malts and porcini mushroom risotto. All accompanied by ñamcasa wine and whole-wheat country bread. Everything was exquisite, and the staff was excellent.
