11/08/2025: We dined in the splendid setting of the Sassi di Matera, choosing the "Dimora Ulmo Menu" tasting menu, which allowed us to discover and appreciate the dishes offered by this excellent restaurant. Although it doesn't yet have a Michelin star, it holds its own against other starred restaurants we've tried around Italy. The real strength, beyond the location—which in itself is worth choosing for a romantic dinner in Matera—is the attention to detail and refinement of the dishes. Each course offers unique pairings, in which each ingredient plays its part: from the tartest to the sweetest notes, perfectly balanced in an explosion of flavor and a wealth of original and well-executed combinations. The service was also excellent, with the utmost attention to detail. The maître d', always present but never intrusive, managed to convey emotion and passion for his work. The wine cellar was well-stocked and carefully selected; we particularly appreciated the champagne pairing, which perfectly complemented the entire dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience innovative cuisine in a unique setting like the Sassi di Matera. Compliments to the chefs and all the staff: I'm sure we'll find a star on our next visit.

07/09/2025: Small but nice place, the staff is very nice😄. The food is delicious, you can choose your broth (I recommend the lemon one) and then take the food from the fridge and boil it. You can create your own sauce however you want by having various ingredients available. Overall, I highly recommend it.

30/08/2025: I'll start by saying this is my second time here, and just as I was the first time, I was thrilled. It's perfect, to say the least. The quality is top-notch, and they even help me choose the right sauces to accompany the dishes. For those who haven't been before, they explain everything step by step. A special thanks goes to the head waiter, Giulio, who is always very helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and above all, genuinely nice. We'll see you again soon.

11/09/2025: I think Mr. saggio restraunt was the best blessing of staying in the Ponte milvio location. My wife and me had a real taste of authentic italian dishes. My favourite were the margherita pizza, la melansana and chip. Highly highly recommended and this is one of our favourite italian restaurants.

29/08/2025: Dinner in the center of San Pantaleo. They offer a double menu, one of which specializes in mussels. The dishes are unique, but excellently crafted and made with quality ingredients. We recommend them and will definitely return. P.S. The mussel dishes are excellent, but the sardine dishes are... delicious!

13/09/2025: They have the most delicious mandel flavoured ice cream I ever tasted. Probably the best in the world. If you are in Syracuse, Caffe' Apollo is a must be visited place and do not dare to skip mandel ice cream. All other flavours are great, but mandel is best without a doubt.

18/07/2025: My husband and I went here for dinner at around 10pm. There were plenty of tables available. The service was fast and friendly. We were worried we wouldn't be able to get by speaking English, but our waiter understood us well and spoke English. I had pasta carbonara, which was the best I've ever had. Great food. My husband had pumpkin tortellini, which was also great. Good drinks and good desserts. Prices really reasonable. The menu would have been nice in English, but it was easy with a translator too.

11/09/2025: Stay away from this restaurant – it's absolutely life-threatening! I've rarely experienced such a disaster in my life as after my visit to Il Greco. My girlfriend and I were there as a group of three. Luckily, the third person didn't eat anything, otherwise they would have had to go through the same ordeal as us. We ordered several small dishes: meatballs in tomato sauce, an eggplant casserole, and seafood that obviously came out of a can. As soon as we tasted them, we had the feeling something was wrong – but we never imagined it would be THIS bad. It started that very night: extreme nausea, chills, cramps, and constant vomiting. We had the worst food poisoning imaginable. Four entire days of our vacation were completely ruined – we were lying on our backs, every sip of water came right back out. At one point, we seriously considered going to the hospital. I'm not someone who writes bad reviews lightly – but this is absolutely irresponsible. A restaurant that serves its guests this kind of food should either be closed immediately or subjected to strict, regular inspections. My conclusion: Anyone who eats here is gambling with their health. Never again – and I strongly advise anyone not to even set foot in this establishment.
