17/08/2025: Beautiful view and a very well-maintained location, but the food leaves much to be desired. The savory biscuit appetizer was flavorless, and the portions were exaggerated: for example, the fried vegetable appetizer was enormous and served without any accompanying sauce. The tagliata? Large, yes, but cold and ill-conceived. The staff forgot some orders, and, aside from (I hope) the chicken, there was no trace of any local protein or meat.

15/08/2025: I'll start by saying that when you dine at a farmhouse in a wonderful location like this, expectations are very high. Unfortunately, this time I was disappointed with the food. Although the dishes were elegantly presented, the taste left much to be desired. For my appetizer, I had a bread croquette, which I struggled to swallow. The loin, despite having a good sauce, was extremely dry. I also tried the tagliata, and the meat was too tender for my taste. It's truly a shame that the food didn't live up to the setting and the bill. I really hope the manager pays more attention to the food, because a location like this deserves better!

25/05/2025: Definitely an excellent trattoria. We had lunch in 16 with an agreed menu at €40 per person. We had. Non-alcoholic and alcoholic aperitif based on prosecco. Mixed Piedmontese appetizers. Two first courses: rice with asparagus and meat agnolotti with sauce. A second course: cheese scallops with potatoes. Lemon sorbet between first and second courses. Strawberries with ice cream. Coffee and limoncello. Red wine, house white wine and water on request. Excellent quality food and service. A bit noisy environment. Parking not easy to find on site, but available for free near the restaurant.

15/08/2025: A truly wonderful treat! The service, food, and ambiance were perfect for our lunch. A lovely menu, with a variety of dishes, from the simplest and most traditional to the most subtle reinterpretations.

05/09/2025: A typical restaurant that we hope doesn't become too touristy!! Excellent food and people!! They accommodated our request to try the sheep's milk ricotta they make in the morning and made us cannoli on the spot. The meat was amazing, tender, well-seasoned, perfectly grilled. The cavatelli with speck and pistachio were special. At the start of dinner, we were greeted by three Sicilian songbooks that put us in a good mood just listening to them. It's a shame we discovered it too late during our vacation!! Keep up the good work 😊

01/09/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, struck by the unique exterior. The atmosphere is rustic yet pleasant. Plus, we had delicious macaroni with ragù! The homemade pasta was delicious, cooked perfectly. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

09/09/2025: It was just around the corner from our apartment, so a must try. Service was good, forgot about my Pizza the first night, but wasn't an issue as 2 mins later pizza arrived. So delicious I had it two nights. My wife and friend had cotoletta alla Milanese. I've never seen anything like it and struggled to finish. My mate had a ravioli and the sauce was fresh tomatoes, then had the Annas and ice-cream.Yum.

07/09/2025: It's a place where only adults are welcome. Avoid coming with children. We won't be returning. Everything we ate and drank was very good. Very nice place.

19/08/2025: 4 people, dinner. The service was extremely slow and inattentive, polite but very disorganized, visibly stressed (perhaps there wasn't enough staff for the number of guests?). The food was decent, but we weren't thrilled. The setting was stunning: the garden was simply magnificent. We might return for an aperitif, but not for dinner.

07/08/2025: Wonderful place, friendly waiters, good food, but the wait for each course is exaggerated, 30 minutes for a dessert seems a bit too long to me... hire an extra chef.

01/07/2025: An excellent restaurant for dinner in the area. Very pleasant atmosphere with a rustic taste. Not a very extensive menu but all the ingredients are top quality and fresh. Even the pasta seems to be homemade and not packaged. In particular, I recommend the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms among the first courses, they really have an excellent overall balance. The pizza is no exception; the dough of the latter is really light with excellent leavening (zero digestion problems). Even for the pizza, very fresh ingredients are used. I recommend the "Tropeana", a perfect expression of the flavors of the area. This restaurant was my reference for three nights in a row, without making me feel the need to look for something else. Recommended. I will definitely return on my next stop in the area.

13/03/2025: We have been going to the Locanda three times now and every time it is a fantastic experience! Chef Rosario is always kind, creative and super available for our every need! The menu is a discovery of traditional Calabrian flavors accompanied at the same time by many other creative and innovative dishes from the chef. Finally, the impeccable service and the welcoming atmosphere make the Locanda the perfect place for a lunch or dinner with friends. In short: always a guarantee
