Pasta for lunch, done right, followed by a fantastic tart! Kudos to the chef! 🧑‍🍳

I was looking for a restaurant after returning from the Skyway, wanting to avoid going into Courmayeur. So, it was very convenient as it was right next to the free parking lot. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but we still had to wait a very long time. The service and the kitchen were outdated. The waitress was unfriendly. She seemed completely out of it. The pizzas are excellent. A bit pricey for Italy, but not unreasonable for a French person.

We've been coming to Peter's since 1984...we've always had a great experience, especially because Peter takes great care in preparing EVERY DISH; everything is fresh and tasty...then, of course, prices also have to match the quality...

Il Ristorantino is perfectly located at the bottom of the Val Veny lift, right by the parking area where the lifts start, which makes it a very convenient and easy stop before or after skiing. It does not feel like a typical quick mountain stop though, as the food is genuinely delicious and rooted in authentic local traditions. The pizza is excellent, with great ingredients and a really satisfying texture, and in the evening they serve a full range of traditional fondues which creates a cozy and very alpine atmosphere. The menu is quite extensive, so there is something for everyone whether you are in the mood for something simple or a more indulgent dish. The service is warm and friendly, and the overall vibe is relaxed and welcoming. It is one of those places that feels honest, tasty, and easy to enjoy, and definitely worth stopping by when you are in Val Veny.
