24/05/2025: Bartolini è eccellente! Ho chiesto di fare delle crostate ricoperte di fragole e mi hanno saputo ascoltare, hanno saputo tradurre la mia richiesta in un desssert di gran livello. Il locale è accogliente, tutte le torte e i pasticcini sono fatti con grande cura e hanno il sapore di una volta.
Bartolini es excelente! Les he pedido que hagan un pastel con fresas el pasado mes de abril. Me escucharon atentamente e hicieron un postre maravilloso para mí y mis amigos. Las miradas eran magníficas y sabía aún mejor. La panadería es muy agradable, estilo italiano clásico. Venden postres caseros. Sus pasteles tienen el sabor de un auténtico salto en el pasado, como en los viejos tiempos, aunque capaces de la modernidad necesaria cuando se requiere.

16/08/2025: A beautiful evening, very good pizzas, fine and light, very nice location, fast and kind service, very nice the cat-shaped robot that sometimes brings the dishes, fair price.

07/09/2025: A pleasant discovery, the staff were incredibly empathetic, the food was excellent, and the meat was fabulous. I had the sliced steak with truffles... highly recommended.
21/08/2025: It's like eating at grandma's house! They welcome you with a smile, and the same goes for the dishes throughout the evening.
Granddaughter Francesca is incredibly sweet and professional, her face framed by small black curls and bright, curious eyes. She looked after us, recommending masterfully prepared dishes.
It's the best restaurant we've ever encountered within an 80km radius!!!
And anyone who doesn't appreciate that hint of lemon in wild boar is completely lost!!!

14/07/2025: During our evening at Osteria Valle in Todi, we had a truly special experience, one that goes far beyond the simple pleasure of good food.
The restaurant is welcoming, well-maintained, and immediately exudes a family atmosphere, where you feel at ease from the first moment. The cuisine is a tribute to Umbrian tradition: authentic dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, and authentic flavors that express the region in every bite.
But what made our dinner unforgettable was Anna's hospitality, who, with great kindness and sensitivity, took the time to find paper and colors for the son of a couple of friends who were staying with us to draw. A simple gesture, yet full of thoughtfulness and humanity, demonstrating the passion and care this osteria dedicates to each guest, young and old.
It's rare to find a place where you truly feel at home, welcomed as a friend and not just a customer. At Osteria Valle, this truly happens.
I highly recommend stopping here: for the delicious food, the warm and friendly atmosphere, and above all, the extraordinary hospitality that makes all the difference.
We can't wait to return!
03/07/2025: Everything was excellent, from the appetizer (burrata and truffle crouton). The cockerel alla diavola was truly remarkable (very tender with a delicious sauce). To finish, the tiramisu was delicious. Full marks!

30/03/2025: Beautiful historic hotel with room for improvement in service
The Hotel Bramante impresses with its special atmosphere and friendly staff - a stylishly renovated monastery with a fantastic view and a quiet location below Todi. The rooms are charming and clean, and the free shuttle into town is a real plus.
The service was less convincing for us in some areas. In the lobby we were not actively asked if we would like something to drink - there is a lack of attention here. Unfortunately, the breakfast was rather simple and not at the level that you would expect for this category. Even dinner in the in-house restaurant didn't satisfy us culinary-wise, which is why we spent the remaining evenings in Todi - there are many great alternatives there.
Overall, a nice hotel with a lot of potential that would be even more convincing with a little more attention to detail in the service.

25/08/2025: Upon arriving at this green oasis, we spent some pleasant, relaxing days away from the chaos. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs, especially regarding the quality of the food, with special attention to celiac and lactose intolerant guests, and the cleanliness. The only negative was the carpet in the bedroom that didn't smell good, and the beds were hard. However, they are renovating the hotel, and it will certainly become more comfortable.

24/08/2025: Great pasta and meat at the old city of Todi, overlooking a fabulous view of the valley. Fresh pasta, great sauces, good service. Highly recommended.
24/08/2025: The restaurant has been in business for over seventy years, so it has a fair amount of experience.
The terrace where we ate has a charming, old-world feel, and the view is that of the Umbrian hills.
It's clean (tablecloth, glasses, cutlery, etc. are fine).
The restroom is small but clean, but not accessible to all physically challenged guests.
The table service was satisfactory.
Appetizers: cheeses (but only a semblance!) and cured meats. The quantity was a bit limited.
The first course: tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. The dish was plentiful, but I wasn't satisfied with the type of pasta.
Second course: grilled trout, excellent.
Drinks: water and 1/4 cup house wine.
Overall, I rate it as a good restaurant.
The quality/price ratio is a bit above average.

29/05/2025: A place recommended by our hotel, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a typical menu, an appetizer of excellent quality cured meats, balanced first and second courses well presented by a good and competent girl. Excellent suggestions for wine pairings and to finish an amazing dessert, the crescionda, which I absolutely recommend trying.
Beautiful evening.

21/07/2025: An experience to forget. The sign "Typical Dishes" was just misleading advertising for those of us who stopped for lunch at 1:30 PM on a road trip. In fact, one of us didn't even eat...they forgot to tell us the dish wasn't on the menu.
Better to just stop at the bar.

22/06/2025: Almost everything is fine. Except for the cover charge (without bread). It is not possible to pay 2 €uro per person. On a total of 20 €uro, that is 20%! I pointed this out when I paid the bill, and they replied: "and what can I do about it". 🥺

09/09/2025: My wife and I spent a week in Umbria, basing ourselves at the Hotel Tuder. It was a perfect choice for seeing some splendid places every day and returning to the hotel in the evening knowing that a warm welcome awaited us, a room always well-kept and spotlessly clean, and above all, a delicious dinner featuring traditional dishes, prepared to the highest standards and enjoyed by us.
The morning began with a generous, varied breakfast featuring some delicious homemade desserts.
The simple yet gracious hospitality of the owners,
whom we thank, made our stay even more pleasant.
