Had lunch today on Easter day without a reservation, waiting for the right one, good food but the best are the innkeepers, a mix of cheerfulness, courtesy, energy, friendliness, hospitality... in short, really TOP

Why do we recommend it?
Because at Gustó you can find a traditional Umbrian menu prepared with top-quality ingredients, impeccable and punctual service, and a unique location that can only be found in Spello. You absolutely must visit.

Good wine, excellent craft beer, and the quality of the local products (charcuterie and cheese platter) were both unusual and refined. It was a shame it was a rainy, cold, and windy day.

We stopped at this bistro, intrigued by the traditional menu. We ordered the house specialty (snails in tomato sauce) and a platter of cured meats and cheeses, plus the local focaccia, a kind of crescentina they call Torta di Testo. My companion ate the snails and thought they were delicious, while I found the platter good but uninspiring. The focaccia was my least favorite. A bit dry. I prefer Ligurian focaccia or others where the oil is more noticeable. The service was quick and courteous. The price was fair—about €50, including a glass of wine and a local beer. I didn't particularly like the hemp beer, but obviously, it's a matter of personal taste.
