23/08/2026: Intrigued by the less than stellar reviews, at least in terms of average ratings, I decided to visit this place in the center of Spello for pizza with my partner. Considering I'm a Level 8 Local Guide with nearly 800 reviews and 23 million views, I thought it was only fair to share my opinion. The negative reviews generally pointed to slow service, and that's what I focused on. When we arrived, the place wasn't yet full; there were only a couple of tables that had ordered before us. We were greeted by smiling, friendly staff who immediately showed us to our table. We ordered, and our drinks arrived almost immediately, after just under three minutes (2:53 to be exact, considering I kept count). As for the pizzas, we had to wait a bit longer, but I must say that in the meantime, I also saw several takeout orders being prepared. Moral of the story: my pizza, the first of two (both ordered without changes or additions that could have slowed down the service), arrived 32 minutes after ordering, the second after an additional 3 minutes, so 35, which still isn't bad on a Saturday night. There are pizzerias near my house that deliver it within an hour and no one complains. And the pizzas?!? How were they in the end? In my opinion, they were delicious, and my partner agreed with hers as well. Perfectly cooked, light dough, tasty ingredients. Did we like it? Yes. Would I go back? Yes. Was the service perfect? ​​No, but guys, there are a thousand shades of gray between black and white! Obviously, if you read a review from a depressed and stressed mom who freaks out because her "baby is hungry," you'll only find one star! My advice: read the reviews (perhaps prefer those from someone like me with a track record as a Local Guide and who's traveled the world, not someone who's written three mean reviews in ten years), but don't rely solely on them, because ultimately the "reason" is yours alone, not the reviewer's. My reviews are merely a point of view; they're neither law nor gospel truth, and those of others are the same as above. Your opinion will always be worth more than that of any renowned reviewer. The cost? Two pizzas from the "special" menu, two medium red beers, water, coffee, and liqueurs: €42. Does anyone have anything to say about the price?!? Could I give it 4 stars? Yes, because the service was admittedly a bit slow, but I'm giving it 5 just to annoy the depressed and stressed mom with her hungry child who gave them one.

21/08/2026: A very beautiful and quaint place in the center of Spello. The pizza is incredibly good and it's not even ridiculously expensive (as is often the case). I highly recommend it. Even in August when they're packed! Because the pizza is truly good ♡

01/08/2026: Enchanting place. Very friendly staff. Excellent food. We stayed half-board at a farmhouse belonging to the same property. Two courses and a dessert, excluding drinks. Definitely worth a try.

An immediate connection and friendliness from the moment we booked, a welcome like nothing I'd ever experienced before... The cleanliness of the apartment The love, passion, and dedication to their guests of Alberto and Stefania, who created this magical place in the lush countryside, is disarming. Alberto, sitting with us at the table after breakfast, Every morning he recommended a different itinerary, illustrating them with maps he patiently drew, providing valuable information on the places, history, and customs of this wonderful region. Always ready to satisfy every little need, always with a smile, always with a joke. He accompanied us to discover new places, giving us wonderful moments. He organized a couples' dinner by the pool in a dreamlike atmosphere with his sweet and refined wife Stefania, always interested in our well-being, always ready to offer a hug or a tasting suggestion from her wonderful cuisine. Her "is everything okay?" will remain indelible in our memories and hearts. The delicious and rich breakfasts, the exquisite dinners, full of colorful and tasty dishes, expertly describe the flavors and aromas of Umbrian cuisine, also provided by Luigia, along with the sweet attentions of Ouissale during dinner. This vacation gave us two sincere and loving FRIENDS who were very difficult to leave when we returned home. 06/08/2026: Small wine shop on the main road into Spello, ideal for a refreshing stop. Courtesy and knowledgeable if you're looking for a local wine, excellent beer. Worth a stop.

15/07/2026: Having only had an omelette (which wasn't really a omelette, but scrambled eggs) with truffles, I can only comment on these: made without love! In other words, very tasteless. The lady serving... I don't know if she was the owner, but she was very pleasant and kind. I wouldn't go back.
