22/06/2025: Just outside the walls of Spello, we go there often for the very good wood-fired pizza. The atmosphere is informal and the prices are very fair. It has a nice outdoor space for the summer.

19/06/2025: We were invited on Tuesday evening, and it was a real disaster. There were few tables and yet for 7 pizzas we waited more than an hour. A person at our table who had ordinary meat received the dish a few minutes after ordering and ate alone. Even the pizzas, after several complaints, arrived staggered, lack of coordination at astonishing levels. The pizza is one of the worst I have ever eaten, the ingredients may even be of quality, I have no doubt about it, but the result is an ultra thin, toasted pastry, the ultra salty tomato, in the Margherita not even a basil leaf, I was thirsty all night. Oh, we called twice to book a table outside, we arrived and they were not prepared, in fact the girl seemed surprised and not very helpful. I will definitely not go back

02/06/2025: volevamo accomodarci per consumare ma non è stato possibile, entro e chiedo se posso usufruire della toilette, il carissimo mi liquida dicendomi che il servizio era incluso SOLO per i clienti, incitandomi ad andare a prendermi malattie nei bagni pubblici. TERRIBILE.

04/05/2025: Interesting and well located wine shop in the center of Spello. The choice of wines (understood as labels) is varied and focused on local wines; There is also a nice choice (I would even say refined and well selected) of labels from other regions. What impressed me was the service: the wine was brought to me with its own bottle and the "waitress" explained to me what I was drinking with a professionalism that I hadn't seen for a long time. I underline the courtesy and cheerful smile of the aforementioned person who made me feel at ease and welcome. The environment is beautiful! The beautiful fresh outdoor location. A place I will gladly return to for the quality and the great experience of drinking "just" a glass of wine. Good waitress (very knowledgeable about wines!!) Nice place. I will return and, like yesterday, I will buy more bottles. Thank you 😁👍🏼

23/04/2025: I bought a bottle of wine from a gift shop, probably the same owner having the receipt with this header, but the price of the wine was higher +16€ compared to the retail price on the producer's website

05/06/2025: Noi abbiamo prenotato solo una notte e ci bastava. Peccato perché è un luogo antico bello con tante possibilità e inoltre una panorama con una terrazza strepitosa ma a noi sembrava mal gestito. Si vedeva la mancanza di cura e purtroppo in reception non siamo trovati proprio bene per conto della mancanza di preparazione dello staff. Una era proprio disinteressata. Ma la cosa ancora più deludente era lo spa. Puzzava di sudore nel bagno turco...e certe situazioni ci hanno portato a capire le pulizie non erano al massimo. La sauna era tiepida e l'aria era come in cantiere. Non tutte le opzioni della vasca idromassaggio funzionavano. Il motivo per le 3 stelle anziché 1 era grazie al ristorante. Il cibo era delizioso e il vino una sorpresa molto gradevole - prezzi giusti. Servizio ok, staff in training. Il responsabile di sala era gentile e disponibilissimo.

25/05/2025: Terrible experience, not to be repeated! We were extremely disappointed by this restaurant. After a very long wait (unjustified, considering that the restaurant wasn't even full), we were served an appetizer based on Norcia truffles that tasted of absolutely nothing: totally anonymous truffle and poor quality of products. Next, the strangozzi were overcooked, tasteless and clearly cooked without care. The main course, the lamb chops, was the final blow: very tough, stringy and practically inedible meat. In short: slow service, terrible cooking and low-quality raw materials. I don't recommend it to anyone.

24/06/2025: Slow, Slow, Slow....when asked to turn on the air conditioning, the scene was silent, the stew was served cold, the dessert was without cutlery, the coffee was non-existent, out of 39 people who had booked they demanded the collection of 1 missing person. It's a shame, the food could have been worthy, but the organization certainly wasn't.

22/06/2025: Wonderful view, suitable for children, delicious food. The only flaw, probably due to the event of the infiorata, is the quantity/price of the pasta. As for the quality, the dishes were divine (first and second).

30/05/2025: 2nd update: I just need to add a few things. The price-performance ratio at the complex is great. Very reasonable apartment prices. Breakfast for €10 and a two-course dinner for €30 if ordered in advance. And the lawn was mowed yesterday. The two pools are also good. The view from our balcony in apartment 408 is fantastic. Incredibly beautiful sunsets. Very close to the SS3, but not audible. The mattress is super comfortable. Wi-Fi is available throughout the complex and super fast, even for streaming videos. I think if you work on a few small things, something really good can emerge. So keep it up. The only downside in apartment 408: When the neighbors turn on the air conditioning, it's very loud in the bedroom, even with the windows closed. This is due to the very poorly positioned external air conditioning unit. Review update: The nice lady at the reception desk read my information and brought me some kitchen equipment and two wine glasses. Dinner was also quite good. We had crostini and potato pâté with truffle and Parmesan cream. It was quite good. My wife then had homemade tagliatelle with ragu sauce, and I had wild boar goulash. The tagliatelle was good. The sauce was okay. The wild boar was good. The vino rosso della casa was much too cold. When it warmed up, it was good. Overall, the food was good, but there was still room for improvement. The breakfast buffet leaves little to be desired. Everything looks really good and was really good, except for the scrambled eggs. That was due to the eggs used, which had a strange smell and taste. Overall, it can be described as very good for a breakfast in Italy. Start first review So, the superior apartment isn't exactly superior. The furnishings are poor. No wine glasses in Italy? Everything is clean and the room is nice, but the bathroom is small and the shower curtain is actually substandard. The kitchen has no pots and pans and no dish soap, so why would I get an apartment with a kitchen when I'll have trouble preparing breakfast, let alone cooking? The entire green area outside is pretty neglected. They should hire a gardener. The pools look pretty good. The restaurant looks nice. Let's see how it tastes.

27/05/2025: I spent a weekend surrounded by greenery with my friends, very welcoming and helpful staff, excellent breakfast and good dinner. Recommended, we will definitely be back!
