12/01/2025: Locale accogliente e curato nei minimi particolari. Sì vede che chi lo gestisce ci mette passione. Il menu non offre troppe cose ma i piatti soddisfano i gusti di qualsiasi clientela. Non saprei dire se siano migliori le bruschette, la pasta, la carne o i dolci. Tutte le portate meritano una segnalazione. La spesa è assolutamente in linea con quanto offerto dal locale. Da segnalare il servizio, cordiale, attento e pronto alla battuta come molta gente di queste parti sa offrire. Consigliato.

21/02/2025: One of, if not the best meal we have eaten in 7 months of living in and travelling around Italy. Service, quality of ingredients and cooking were all exceptional, alongside great wine and a stunning venue. We look forward of returning in the very near future. Highly recommend to all!

18/02/2025: We had lunch here on our visit to Spello and unfortunately we didn't have a great time. A couple of negative notes: first of all the price. Specifically, a plate of mixed salad with salad €8. And the price could also be good if it weren't for the fact that I had to point out to the waitress that I found brown filaments in the salad (this was because the salad hadn't been cleaned well) and various lint (not hair but lint of unknown identity). For €8 the salad must be PERFECT. Furthermore, there is one thing that I didn't like most of all. I have been working in the food and wine sector for years and: 1- the waitress had her hair down (you can't) 2- the kitchen is visible from a small open door and I saw the waitress eating during service several times and going out chewing in the dining room and the same thing for the owner. I understand wanting to make the customer feel at home but this is a bit much. Then they brought us a lamp to the table, which was very dark and after a minute it went off because it was empty. So we had to change tables.

03/01/2025: Cercavamo un posto per pranzare a Spello, abbiamo trovato questo locale con i tavolini esterni, ma dotato di cuscini e coperte.Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato il piatto del giorno i maltagliati e i cappellacci ,tutto buonissimo!

28/01/2025: Good restaurant in the center of Spello. We had dinner for 2, taking a starter of very good cured meats, a first course each, half a liter of house wine, a water, a tiramisu and 2 coffees, spending €60 in total, a fair amount in my opinion. The restaurant can be easily reached on foot by parking in one of the car parks above or below the town. The country is absolutely enchanting

18/01/2025: Ho pranzato in questo ristorante durante una gita a Spello. Ho preso il tagliere di affettati e pizza al testo per iniziare e fettuccine al ragù di chianina per primo. Cibo buono e prezzi in linea, il ristorante fa anche senza glutine.

24/02/2025: Very good starter, generous portions. The staff is quaint and fun. Rustic environment but too cold, a heat source is really missing. The bathroom definitely needs to be spruced up. Good value for money.

28/10/2024: atmosfera suggestiva. location caratteristica. camere un po' piccole ma funzionali. organizzazione e gestione di tipo agriturismo non vi aspettate un trattamento da 5 stelle. cena molto buona ad un prezzo onestissimo (vino della casa offerto) colazione genuina senza buffet ma a richiesta vi sono affettati e formaggi, uova. piscina molto bella. il tutto immerso in un oliveto fantastico con vista sulla vallata. Ospitalità genuina ma professionale.

23/02/2025: Had dinner with friends during a birthday party. The owner made a room available to us in which to eat and hold the party. The staff were friendly, pleasant and professional. Very good food. The cake provided by the venue based on general requested instructions. To be recommended

05/02/2025: Abbiamo prenotato online senza risposta. Ci siamo avvicinati lo stesso e la signora che ci ha accolto ci ha spiegato che il sistema di prenotazione non era andato a buon fine ma, nonostante il locale fosse pieno, ci ha trovato un posto. Voto pieno per la gentilezza ma anche per il cibo e la location.

21/10/2024: Una visita a este restaurante fue parte de nuestro Tour Intrépido organizado. Incluía cata de vinos y muestras de comida local. Soy un no bebedor por lo que apreciamos los fabulosos sabores del aceite de oliva, el vinagre balsámico y los alimentos servidos. El propietario también amablemente me proporcionó un capuchino gratis - muy generoso. El personal era muy amable y atento. Un entorno tranquilo y sombreado - muy recomendable!

21/10/2024: Hoy asistimos a un almuerzo y cata de vinos en este hermoso lugar. Incluyó comida realmente encantadora y un discurso muy informativo y experto sobre las características y el maridaje de los diversos vinos que disfrutamos. El entusiasmo con el que se dio la información sin duda se sumó al disfrute. Además de las diversas variedades de vino, nos educaron sobre el aceite de oliva local y el delicioso balsámico de más de 20 años. Yo era el único vegetariano del grupo, pero mi berenjena era igual de deliciosa que los platos de carne parecían ser para los otros miembros del grupo. Spello es una hermosa ciudad pequeña. El restaurante está a parte de la colina, un paseo fácil, rodeado de edificios antiguos. Todo muy recomendable!

08/01/2025: Excellent hotel in the historic center of Spello with a beautiful view of the Umbrian hills! The hotel can be reached by car, it has a small garage (suitable only for small cars), alternatively it is possible to park in the small square in front even if there are few spaces.

22/10/2024: The barley soup is what I can't stop thinking about - 5 months later! We stayed in Spello for a few days and came here twice just so I could have it again. The service was superb and the atmosphere quaint. Now I need the recipe :)
