03/01/2025: Cercavamo un posto per pranzare a Spello, abbiamo trovato questo locale con i tavolini esterni, ma dotato di cuscini e coperte.Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato il piatto del giorno i maltagliati e i cappellacci ,tutto buonissimo!

13/01/2025: La Cantina di Spello è un piccolo gioiello incastonato nel cuore di questo splendido borgo umbro. Il locale è estremamente caratteristico, con un’atmosfera rustica e accogliente che ti fa sentire subito immerso nelle tradizioni del luogo. Il personale è stato cordiale e molto disponibile, sempre pronto a consigliare i piatti migliori e a raccontare qualcosa di più sui prodotti locali. È evidente la passione che mettono nel loro lavoro e l’attenzione al cliente. Il menù offre una buona selezione di piatti della cucina umbra, preparati con ingredienti di qualità. Abbiamo apprezzato in particolare le bruschette al tartufo, deliziose e profumatissime, e i cappelletti al tartufo. Se devo trovare un piccolo difetto, il servizio è stato un po’ lento durante le ore di punta, ma l’atmosfera rilassata del locale ha comunque reso piacevole l’attesa. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole scoprire i sapori autentici dell’Umbria in un contesto unico e accogliente!

28/10/2024: atmosfera suggestiva. location caratteristica. camere un po' piccole ma funzionali. organizzazione e gestione di tipo agriturismo non vi aspettate un trattamento da 5 stelle. cena molto buona ad un prezzo onestissimo (vino della casa offerto) colazione genuina senza buffet ma a richiesta vi sono affettati e formaggi, uova. piscina molto bella. il tutto immerso in un oliveto fantastico con vista sulla vallata. Ospitalità genuina ma professionale.

07/01/2025: We had lunch on Saturday 4 January with a starter of cured meats accompanied by an excellent Cresamo, followed by stringozzi with bacon and tagliatelle with white Chianina rugù. All great, but next time we will book in advance, because it is always very crowded. Very kind staff and very nice environment. Advised.

The friendliness of the lady who served us is unparalleled! 😆☺️☺️. To the point that we returned for lunch the next day. If you love trattorias like those of the past, then you are in the right place! The only flaw was that it was quite cold inside the room. Highly recommended!

20/01/2025: Terrible experience, we had never been to this place "but I had heard good things about it", we booked for 12 seats for 8pm, in about 15 minutes they took our orders, some of us ordered sushi, which arrived in biblical times , the first order was processed in about 35 minutes, I ate after 1 hour and 10 minutes from the order and other diners, precisely after 2 hours from the order... times inadmissible. We basically went to dinner together, but we each ate on our own... so much so that two of the people at the table decided to change their order, taking a cut instead of sushi... to shorten the time. I'm sorry but that's how it went... I'll go back to understand if it was a coincidence or it's normal... in any case I recommend reviewing the menu... too wide a choice for a cuisine that can't keep up... considering that the venue will have had a maximum of 50/60 seats...

06/01/2025: A very pleasant experience...the unforgettable cacio e pepe chitarrine with black truffle...an ecstasy of taste with every forkful! The main room has very particular acoustics and if you sit at a central table you can perfectly hear all the dialogues from the surrounding tables... this may not be pleasant during dinner but I don't think it can be solved.

24/12/2024: A true restorative oasis, a typical place to enjoy quality dishes and flavors of the past. The owners are very nice and the air you breathe is pleasant and familiar. We can't wait to return and taste other exceptional dishes with unforgettable aromas!

21/10/2024: Una visita a este restaurante fue parte de nuestro Tour Intrépido organizado. Incluía cata de vinos y muestras de comida local. Soy un no bebedor por lo que apreciamos los fabulosos sabores del aceite de oliva, el vinagre balsámico y los alimentos servidos. El propietario también amablemente me proporcionó un capuchino gratis - muy generoso. El personal era muy amable y atento. Un entorno tranquilo y sombreado - muy recomendable!

21/10/2024: Hoy asistimos a un almuerzo y cata de vinos en este hermoso lugar. Incluyó comida realmente encantadora y un discurso muy informativo y experto sobre las características y el maridaje de los diversos vinos que disfrutamos. El entusiasmo con el que se dio la información sin duda se sumó al disfrute. Además de las diversas variedades de vino, nos educaron sobre el aceite de oliva local y el delicioso balsámico de más de 20 años. Yo era el único vegetariano del grupo, pero mi berenjena era igual de deliciosa que los platos de carne parecían ser para los otros miembros del grupo. Spello es una hermosa ciudad pequeña. El restaurante está a parte de la colina, un paseo fácil, rodeado de edificios antiguos. Todo muy recomendable!

29/12/2024: From 12/24/2024 to 12/27/2024 - Family of 4 people. Owners, Alberto, Stefania and the little dog Milù, extremely welcoming and helpful. Family environment, clean and quiet. Excellent location for visiting the most famous places in Umbria. Well organised, plentiful and very good Christmas lunch. Highly recommended for peace, tranquility, homemade breakfasts and an excellent location.

20/11/2024: we were their guests for a day on a short weekend with a camper in the lands of San Francesco... welcomed familiarly by the very nice owner, Mr. Alberto who explained to us the meticulous restoration of the farmhouse brought back to its ancient medieval splendor..... small and comfortable rest area with electricity connection and possibility of loading and unloading water.... we booked for dinner and were struck by the kindness of the cook who offered us a gastronomic tour of local specialties revisited with delicacy and skill.... and to finish in the morning a fabulous breakfast... p.s. we purchased a can of oil produced by them which we had enjoyed at dinner on pieces of bread..... a heartfelt thank you with the certainty of a soon return... to Majora

17/12/2024: Taverna intima e calda..ci si sente come a casa.. tra la gentilezza di Fabio il proprietario e la simpatia del Cameriere che ci ha serviti abbiamo passata un piacevolissimo pranzo della domenica.. carne cotta a forno a legna squisita, contorni tipici buonissimi e i dolci fatti in casa ancora di più!! Bellissimo tutto,torneremo prestissimo

22/10/2024: The barley soup is what I can't stop thinking about - 5 months later! We stayed in Spello for a few days and came here twice just so I could have it again. The service was superb and the atmosphere quaint. Now I need the recipe :)
