06/10/2025: We dine here often when we are in Spello. When the weather is warm, the outdoor dinning is beautiful. However, inside is very nice too. Massimo is a wonderful host. The food is so delicious. We have had to rotolo of pork and many of the pasta dishes. You need to make a reservation as they fill up quickly.

27/09/2025: Am excellent place for dinner. You'll need reservations, because it is limited in seating. The menu offers local dishes that taste fabulous. You know it is good when you see the locals eating here

04/10/2025: A charming place, a historic property surrounded by olive trees, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. The owners are incredibly kind. The traditional Umbrian cuisine is superb. Special attention is paid to guests' needs (I'm celiac and enjoyed the traditional dishes in peace!) The location is ideal for visiting the region's villages and cities. The pool is beautiful! What can I say? I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

01/10/2025: Everything was perfect. The location was wonderful. Jacopo, the owner, was a fantastic person, helpful and very kind. The food was delicious, simple but traditional. We will definitely be back.

20/09/2025: What a gem in the heart of Spello! The restaurant is set inside a rustic stone cellar with beautiful arches that immediately catch your eye – it feels like dining inside history. The unique ceramics from Domiziani, which you can also find in their shop just a few steps away, add an extra touch of character and colour to the tables. The staff could not have been nicer – warm, attentive, and with great recommendations. They suggested a wonderful local wine that paired perfectly with our meal. The food was absolutely outstanding, each dish somehow better than the last. We started with a sformatino di patate e porcini with Reggiano fondue and black truffle – rich and elegant. Then came the pappardelle al cinghiale, hearty and perfectly balanced. For the main, a grigliata mista that was full of flavour. And to finish, tozzetti with Sagrantino passito, the sweetest ending. Everything was so delicious that we ordered the same dish for each course rather than share – that says it all! 😂 A truly memorable experience – both for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re in Spello.

15/09/2025: Excellent, quaint atmosphere in the center of Spello, with attentive and professional service. The menu is extensive and typical of the area. The grilled meats and cheeses are spectacular, as is the flan. Excellent value. In short: at Spello's winery, you eat with your mouth and your eyes. Highly recommended.

05/10/2025: Basted. First of all, the owner was rude and rude. He wouldn't even move to let us pass, and when he saw the only waitress struggling to serve all the tables, he totally ignored it while checking his phone. The waitress was very kind, which was the only positive thing about the place. The Crescia was good, but small for the price and full of oil. The first courses were basted: all obviously pre-cooked and frozen. The service was extremely slow, and it was the owner's fault. Get some sleep, buddy.

21/08/2025: We enjoyed everything; we visited twice. We especially recommend the lasagna and the snails. But you should definitely make a reservation.

20/08/2025: RESPONSE TO THE RESTAURANT OWNER: Point 1: I think you're remembering very poorly, given that there weren't four of us and, more importantly, as I wrote in my review, we had lunch, not dinner. Point 2: Criticism should be accepted in order to improve; it's a good thing to do in general in life, especially if you work with people. Point 3: But who goes back there!? There are so many great places in Spello, where you can find good food and, at this point, I have no doubt, also good manners. This rating is mainly based on the treatment I received. The food is good, in fact, nothing extraordinary, but good. But if I stop at a restaurant, I expect not to be "politely" asked to leave after my last bite. Outside the restaurant, along with the menu with the prices—which aren't cheap, but after all, you can more or less know what the bill will be—they should state that you should eat quickly to free up the table. I understand that this is a busy tourist season, but in delightful Spello you can find the same or better quality, combined with the opportunity to enjoy a well-priced lunch without having to get up still chewing.

27/09/2025: This was my first stop in the camino di Francisco. Very nice accommodations and the owners very helpful. Quiet night and beautiful view from the window

24/09/2025: Good 3 star hotel in the centre of town. It is old but very well maintained only does B&B now. Nice view from the terrace we you can relax. Our room was ok a decent size as it was at the front ove over the street it was are if the windows were open ( they do have a/c but it was off when we were there in September) .

12/10/2025: Welcoming and helpful place, the only positive note, regarding the dishes, tasteless first courses with minimal quantities and above all, pay attention to the mixed grill dish, truly ridiculous: 1 sausage, a bone with just a little meat and a small triangle of meat - we're talking about pork at an exorbitant price. Truly disappointing.

04/10/2025: We sat on the outdoor patio and the young man that waited on us from the beginning was dismissive and arrogant. For our first and second course, people received their food very late as others were eating. Salad was delivered inaccurately with no apology. The lack of service negatively affected our experience on our last night in Spello.

02/10/2025: Overcooked pasta, jarred truffles, and only one person (not a professional) serving—what else can I say? It's a shame, because the place is nice, even if it's small...

28/09/2025: I've known this place for almost 20 years and every time I return I'm filled with joy... not only for the food (excellent ingredients and amazing cuisine) but for the love I feel for the people who work there and make it truly wonderful!!!!

04/10/2025: Excellent service and menu. They immediately served us high-quality appetizers and first courses, an excellent wine selection, delicious and beautifully presented second courses and desserts. 1) An appetizer, two first courses, a second course, and a dessert, a bottle of wine for €30, a total of €100. There were two of us... Prices in line with the excellent quality of the place...

03/09/2025: This restaurant was recommended by another restaurant owner, who was also fully booked for the evening in question. This one immediately piqued my curiosity. The restaurant is located on a small hill in an equally small medieval village. The atmosphere is rustic but welcoming. The waiter was very friendly. The grilled lamb with truffles was divine. A feast of fresh porcini mushrooms that I'll remember for a long time. Well done.

01/10/2025: With these local ingredients and scenery, it would difficult to create an unpleasant dining experience, and yet this place manages it. There is plenty of choice in Spello, go elsewhere (think the owner has confused us with someone else - we tried to eat)

16/08/2025: A small but quaint place, with a few tables both indoors and outdoors. We ordered an appetizer to share and three first courses: the quality of the dishes was good, but the taste was unimpressive. Unfortunately, the kitchen was poorly organized: despite arriving and ordering before other tables, our dishes arrived very late. Furthermore, my wife was served first, leaving our daughter without a plate and forcing her to wait even longer. The price was fair (€55 for three, including an appetizer and two bottles of water), but the service could be improved.
