We've often passed by here, sometimes even stopping for a drink, but today we decided to try their grilled meats, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised... delicious meat, cooked to perfection... I highly recommend stopping by.

Tried it because I was intrigued by an Instagram post.
I have to say, a pleasant surprise.
Everything is "old-fashioned," cash only. You choose what you want and it's brought to you on a mixed tray. The waiters, excellent and very kind, remember your orders by heart, and you don't need to reserve; you just go there and as soon as there's room, you sit down... but everything is very quick.
The food was delicious and super filling, we left rolling!!!
I definitely recommend the baked rib and the grilled vegetables. But they're also known for their desserts, superb millefeuille and panna cotta.

Very large portions of delicious food, the view of the river adds to the charm, and the service is friendly and smiling. It may not be a fancy restaurant, but it's a good and tasty meal on the go. The fast service is also a plus. The prices are reasonable, and I recommend their pizza dough specialty, which has a ton of vegetables and is truly something different.

I often go there... the waiters are all kind... almost always mixed grill for two which is accompanied by a good amount of chips and grilled vegetables... with pepper sauce for those who like it... two nice 1/2 cups of Union on tap, superlative coffee... herb pelinkovac with ice and lemon zest... to digest. With the Isonzo River next door... a few meters away... fantastic. Even when it's hot it's refreshing. More or less around 40 euros... it's worth it.

We went here for lunch. There were two of us and we ordered the main course for two. The vegetables were excellent, as was the meat. The service was quick. The place is in a quiet location near the Isonzo River... you can even walk down for a short stroll. The price was super fair!

The Dolga Njiva snack bar is a popular snack bar on the Soča River near Deskla, known for its excellent food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Guests often visit it for its delicious čevapčiči, juicy burgers and large portions, which impress both locals and passing visitors. The location also has a special charm due to the beautiful view of nature and the Soča River, which makes a stop there even more pleasant. The staff is friendly and helpful, which is why many guests like to return.
I absolutely recommend it!
