18/02/2026: STAY AWAY, I unfortunately set foot in this place during a university break, the qualities that distinguish this place (besides the lack of care for everything) are the rudeness, arrogance and discourtesy of the staff, rather go for mushrooms

15/02/2026: I went to this bar for a coffee. Besides the fact that it was completely watered down, the staff at the counter were rude, and there was no manners. The atmosphere was completely run-down; I don't understand how a place like this could still be open. Go elsewhere; Perugia is full of bars where you can enjoy a coffee in peace!

31/08/2025: Unbelievable! I just read someone else's review :) I had the same experience...putting your feet up on the plastic chair (w62;) is forbidden, what a joke in a "beach canteen"...but putting a snack bowl with a used, sticky espresso spoon down is okay...exactly my kind of humor 😆 oh well: you can spend €5 on a beer better elsewhere ;)

17/06/2025: Instead of telling the guests they weren't welcome, the owner made up reasons, like "card games are forbidden." Likewise, no one was allowed to put their feet on the plastic chairs in her beach bar! We proved to her in writing that card games are allowed in Piedmont. She could only speak Italian after that and ran off.

05/01/2026: Aside from the fact that I've never seen a bar owner get annoyed because they have customers, I have here. The staff was unfriendly; we went for a drink and they didn't even clear our table from previous customers. The prices were extremely high and the coffee was burnt. I'll definitely never go there again.

05/01/2026: I'll never get a coffee at this bar again. After seeing how they treated the girl in front of me, I was shocked. Who does that old lady serving think she is? That's not the way to treat customers!

17/01/2026: This bar's location is incredible: right in front of the Orvieto Cathedral, in a setting seemingly lifted from another era. The exterior is distinctive, the decor has great potential, and it could truly become a little gem for those visiting the city. Unfortunately, the experience at the counter was anything but positive. The service was surprisingly rude. Despite the lack of clarity in the organization and several people waiting, the staff showed neither courtesy nor attention. We found ourselves waiting quite a while for a simple coffee, and the attitude of the person making it gave the impression that they were doing us a favor. The same nervous and unhelpful attitude was noticeable among the other customers present. It's a real shame: a place with such a prime location and such an evocative setting deserves welcoming staff, capable of enhancing it and not making you want to leave immediately. In conclusion, the potential is there—and a lot of it—but the service, at least during our experience, made the visit disappointing. I hope that management can improve, because it would be a real shame to let such a place go.

14/01/2026: I had breakfast and everything was good.

09/02/2026: I went to this bar with a friend for lunch. We wanted something quick to eat. We ended up each ordering a sandwich, which arrived cold, and a portion of pumpkin ravioli for two that were nothing short of terrifying. They were dry and hard. My friend broke the plastic fork from the cover charge, which cost a whopping €3. We left the ravioli on our plates and sent them back. We got to dessert. We wanted to try the desserts displayed in a glass case, but nothing, they're only for takeout 🙄, so we chose a chocolate cream puff, which turned out to be dry, and a slice of stuffed roll, nothing special, for €6. At that point, we had to point out the poor quality of the products served, much to the owner's surprise, but given the reviews I just read, I don't understand why. The only good thing was the coffee, but that was also €1.50. On the plus side, a nice bar with tempting packaged foods. I don't think I'll go back there again!

03/02/2026: Very bad, I found prices definitely higher than other bars. Menus are unclear, and often when asked to pay by card, the owner makes a rude face... Not very friendly Avoid...help!

08/06/2025: Ieri mattina sono stata con una mia amica a dare colazione alla sede vicino al Pian di Massiano a Perugia. Avevo chiesto un cappuccino senza lattosio e un caffè lungo. Dopo un attesa di circa 20 minuti al banco bar, mi viene passato solo il caffè. Visto che il cappuccino non arrivava e il caffè si raffredava, ho chiesto se era possibile avere anche il cappuccino. Il ragazzo che faceva i caffè ha detto che non è un obbligo andare a fare colazione lì.... Per di più, alcuni giorni prima ero stata sempre per fare colazione lì e, purtroppo per sbaglio, una cameriera ha fatto cadere un vassoio con delle tazzine e piattini di caffè, rompendoli. Purtroppo può capitare e la ragazza ha chiesto scusa però lo stesso ragazzo che fa i caffè ha cominciato a urlarli addosso, davanti a tutti i clienti, che gli avrebbe trattenuto dallo stipendio il costo dei piattini e delle tazzine rotte. I prodotti sono ottimi però il personale, soprattutto il ragazzo che fa i caffè la mattina, è maleducato e sgarbato....

20/05/2025: Frequento Menchetti da alcuni mesi: principalmente per la colazione, ma sono passata anche per l'aperitivo qualche volta. Finalmente ho capito perchè ci sia sempre così tanta gente: i prodotti da forno sono molto buoni; in particolare i cornetti, i maritozzi e la pizza alla pala. Il caffè e il cappuccino sono fatti bene, meno i drink. Prezzi medi: una colazione "classica" viene sui 3 euro. Il vero neo di questo locale è lo staff: spesso poco disponibile e scostante, è un peccato perchè i prodotti meritano tanto. Ampio parcheggio disponibile, ma dato l'enorme afflusso di clienti si fatica a trovare un posto.

02/01/2026: Please don't come in🫣🫣🫣All frozen food, from pasta to pizza and everything else, a platter made with packaged cold cuts: 3 slices of salami, 3 slices of raw ham and 2 slices of cooked ham, as well as Emmental cheese, 3 slices of tomato and 3 slices of schiacciata. The pasta is the ready-made kind bought from Eurospin and heated in the microwave. I honestly didn't want to pay but my wife told me to forget it. A plate of pasta with Bolognese sauce from Eurospin costs €12.50
