28/04/2024: Beautiful, small, friendly bakery with an equally friendly baker and probably the best (sourdough) bread far and wide. All varieties can be pre-ordered and then picked up, each one is a dream in itself. You should also definitely try babka and other sweet delicacies - if there is any left :)

21/01/2024: The bread (pane del sud) has a crispy crust, a soft, airy interior and tastes like sourdough. It is juicy and has a unique taste. Not too much salt, that's important to me. I have never found bread like this anywhere! I will taste all the breads, one by one! Thanks

Tutti i piatti scelti etan buoni. Canederli, piatto tirolese, gulash e orzotto. Buoni anche i dolci. Personale simpatico e sempre pronto. Servizio abbastanza rapido.

22/08/2024: As seasoned travelers for whom gastronomy plays a central role in each of our escapades, we have had the chance to discover restaurants in the four corners of the world. However, the Trautmannsdorf restaurant has distinguished itself as one of the rare establishments that deserves a place of honor in our culinary list. In fact, it is now among the five best restaurants that we have had the opportunity to try during our numerous travels. During our lunch in August, in the heart of the heatwave, we were dazzled by the exceptional quality of each dish. True to our habit, we ordered almost the entire menu, and each dish was able to delight our taste buds with a perfect mastery of flavors and textures. Each bite was a true homage to local cuisine, executed with rare expertise. The service, for its part, was able to enhance this experience. Efficient, fast, always attentive and unparalleled in sympathy, he helped make this moment a memorable one. The setting of the restaurant is also worth highlighting: despite the oppressive summer heat, we were able to enjoy a pleasant and well-kept environment, which invites relaxation and discovery. In conclusion, the Trautmannsdorf restaurant is a must in the region, and probably one of the only ones truly worth the detour. Although we stayed at the magnificent Château Castel-Frasburg, whose restaurant performs honorably (especially the breakfast), Trautmannsdorf undoubtedly stands out as the best restaurant in the area. A place that we highly recommend to all epicureans looking for an authentic and refined gastronomic experience.

21/11/2024: Classic tavern. Spartan but clean. Courteous staff, fast service. Wide choice of menu. It ranges from meat to fish, to first courses, all good. Superlative mussel pepper. Spaghetti, carbonara, caccio e pepe, amatriciana, grincia etc. mouth-watering and absolutely slippery. Excellent meat, super fish. Wide choice of wine and to conclude a nice block of tiramisu, which cheers you up a bit. Excellent price quality.

06/12/2024: I have always been very satisfied with the product quality. Today I bought a croissant with a nut filling that was clearly from the day before. You should tell the customer if the goods are not fresh. I don't think 2.80 euros for a croissant that isn't fresh the day is particularly correct. Ps. I worked in the food sector for a long time and can therefore distinguish a fresh product from a non-fresh product very well. Too bad.

19/10/2024: After we are on holiday in South Tyrol (Schenna) again after several years, visits to Meran are of course a must. As always, the city is worth seeing and a stay is interesting and beautiful! This time we were very happy to discover the Tyrolean specialty shop “Pur”! He is an enrichment for the city and the local producers. The range of regional products is very large and varied. OF COURSE we stocked up on lots of specialties, wine, bacon, cheese, etc. to extend our vacation at home! Unfortunately, a few weeks have passed and we've eaten our groceries! It's time for a new visit! We have now repeated this and stocked up on delicious South Tyrolean delicacies!

02/11/2024: Sat down for lunch. Ordered a cutting board, after twenty minutes we ask. We are told to wait an extra half hour. “It also takes time to make the chopping boards, there are other tables before you”. HI. Never again.

28/08/2024: We weren't even looked at. The waitress walked past us 20 times without greeting us or quickly saying: I'll be right there (even though it's busy). There was time to chat with the locals. We then walked out of the store after 5 minutes. SERVICE absolutely terrible! Came because of the good reviews. Too bad.

27/08/2024: Classic trattoria that not only serves delicious bruschetta, but also great pizza (the way I like it, thin dough, classic toppings and slightly crispy). Simply delicious!!!! If you don't want to eat at 6 p.m., you should make a reservation by phone to be on the safe side. Highly recommended!

27/09/2024: I was in Merano on business two days ago. Had lunch at Liberty's, as always... very well maintained, excellent food and of course with very nice and friendly service. I can only recommend it.
