07/11/2025: This was our second visit to Seven within a week. The service was very friendly and attentive, the menu was clear and concise, and the staff offered helpful recommendations. The food was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The mixed salad was a feast for the eyes. The pasta was cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. The fried potatoes served with the Wiener Schnitzel were absolutely delicious. We found the price-performance ratio to be excellent and will gladly return to Seven.

16/10/2025: The food is good, with generous portions. They're famous for their fillets, but I didn't try them on this occasion. A first course, side dish, glass of wine, water, and coffee cost €27. In Merano, that's reasonable. The place could use a little updating, but it's still clean.

09/10/2025: The appearance doesn't reflect the quality of the food! It looks like a beer garden belonging to an allotment association, but the food was incredibly good! The best fish soup I've ever had! If you're in Merano, you should definitely eat here. But call ahead and make a reservation; you won't be able to get a table on the spot.

27/09/2025: It's been a long time since we've eaten so excellently. We had a bit of everything from starters to main courses to dessert, plus a fantastic wine recommendation. First-class service, so incredibly friendly, courteous, attentive, professional, and humorous—a truly great pleasure. A cozy and stylish ambiance, friendly guests, and a lovely atmosphere. When it comes to food, you don't know where to start—such a special selection of dishes, or rather, creations. An absolute delight, not just for the palate but also for the eyes. The desserts we had were divine. Pure culinary delights and truly delicious. All in all, a wonderful evening and a great pleasure to be a guest in this special restaurant! Anyone in Merano or the surrounding area should definitely not miss a visit.

02/05/2025: Wir waren wie jedes Jahr, mal wieder im Knödelglück , mit Freunden, zum Essen und um den herrlichen Blick über Meran zu genießen. Der Service war nicht wie immer herzlich und freundlich, was uns schon ein bisschen irritierte,lauter fremde Gesichter. Die Karte schien auch etwas geschrumpfter mit weniger Angeboten. Wie bestellten 2x Knödeltris, Schnitzel und Gnocchi mit Ragout. Die Knödel kamen aus der Tüte,das Schnitzel aus der Fritteuse und das Ragout war trocken und lieblos hergerichtet. Wir bestellten zu den Knödeln extra Krautsalat,der sonst dazu gehörte, und bekamen einen kleinen Klecks dick geschnittenes Kraut, das geht gar nicht. Auf den sonst so leckeren Nachtisch verzichteten wir! Uns schien es, als wenn der Besitzer gewechselt hat . Das war nicht das Essen welches wir gewohnt waren.Schade!

15/08/2025: Freshly squeezed orange juice and the most delicious bruschetta we've ever eaten! Plus, you sit under old vaulted ceilings above the Passer River. It's truly pleasant on hot days. We loved it here!

18/08/2025: We visited the Pienzenau Restaurant in Merano on a balmy summer evening last week and were thrilled from the start. The stunning location, nestled between the vineyards and the old town of Merano, impressed us. The magnificent garden surrounding the property is a true gem and invites you to linger. Our seat on the terrace offered a wonderful view of the property and garden – a perfect setting for a special evening. The hostess and her team welcomed us warmly, immediately creating a familiar and homely atmosphere. Culinary delights left nothing to be desired: We enjoyed a fantastic three-course menu that will remain with us forever. The taste, quality, and presentation were of the highest standard. The team was also perfectly prepared for my gluten-free requests – without any prior notice. We would especially like to mention the young ladies in the waiting room – incredibly attentive, courteous, and always warm. All in all, it was an evening we will cherish for a long time to come.
