22/08/2025: A 5-star review from every perspective. Sicily marries South Tyrol, creating a perfect chemistry between cuisine and ambiance. The "Boss" Marco is very kind, empathetic, and attentive to his customers (a rare thing these days). The waiters are fast and knowledgeable. We returned twice in three days... and the second time, besides having once again a delicious meal, it already felt like we were "among friends." Finally: the quality/price ratio is absolutely excellent! If you're in Merano, you can't miss Trattoria Al Boia! Andrea and Monica

27/08/2025: Bike ride. Ate at the Maiser mountain hut. Good food, excellent location.

08/08/2025: We stumbled upon this mountain hut by chance and immediately had a great time... thanks to Isaak, who let us play soccer with our kids. We had such a great time that we returned the next day... the welcome was wonderful, like seeing old friends again! The strudel, yogurt, and blueberry kaiserschmarren were fantastic. Congratulations, Isaak, and good luck on your future soccer adventure!

18/07/2025: Absolutely beautiful restaurant, great service, and good quality food. Friendly staff. Reservations are recommended if you want to eat after 7 p.m.

24/08/2025: We went shortly after opening with a group of seven. We did not have a reservation, but they were able to find us a table. The service was excellent, the prices were very reasonable, and the food was very good. Highly recommend the Panna cotta with strawberries. For those with food allergies, the menu contained allergens for every food option which made it very easy to identify which foods to avoid.

24/08/2025: The quality of the pasta was there, really nothing to say, the tiramisu was exquisite too, I recommend this place, it's worth the detour. Thanks to Enrique for his professionalism!

04/06/2025: The Chiosco da Max is beautifully situated next to the Ponte Romano and the Passirio River in Merano. This small café serves hot and cold drinks, soft drinks, and small snacks. The staff was friendly and cheerful. The restaurant has limited outdoor seating. The location is fantastic; you can hear the sound of the river and unwind; it's a truly wonderful atmosphere. Prices are generally mid-range. The restrooms were okay in terms of cleanliness.

20/07/2025: We discovered this truly high-quality pastry shop on an inner street in the center of Merano. Prices are above average because the quality and service are above average. Try it and believe it (even just the chocolate chip with your coffee—it's a treat!)

06/09/2025: A shop selling typical local products. It's not cheap, but the products are good quality. Local wines are also available. Drinks and snacks are available (mostly starchy foods with cheese and cured meats, and a soup of the day). Vegetarian options are available depending on the soup of the day. Ideal for picking up a local gourmet souvenir.

21/08/2025: I found this restaurant in the Gallo Rosso guide and it was a pleasant surprise. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. We went on a Thursday evening and were practically the only ones dining, so the service was very fast. The food was truly excellent, especially the dumplings and strudel. I highly recommend it!

I recommend it to everyone, especially those looking for a unique experience, both in the summer with the Long Tuesday events and in the winter, thanks to the convenient location and super cozy bar. I'm super satisfied!
