We spent four nights at the Hotel Kolping with half-board and were thrilled! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the entire property is spotless, and the food was varied and delicious! (My partner is a picky eater, and as a vegetarian, I was very well catered for – perfect! ;-)

A friendly and clean hotel with a modern spa area. Extensive information on excursions and hikes is available in the lobby. In addition, a daily activity recommendation is provided each morning at breakfast.

Excellent hotel! Everything was perfect. Not directly in the city, but still very easy to reach. The staff was very friendly, and the service was excellent, helpful, and attentive. The rooms were spacious and clean. We booked a superior room directly through the hotel's website and didn't regret it at all! The mountain views were stunning and absolutely breathtaking. It was our first time in Merano, and certainly not our last. We will definitely book this hotel again.

Overall, this hotel is a pleasant experience. It's a fully renovated, elegant building, equipped with everything you need. Modern and quiet rooms, large and comfortable beds, and a modern bathroom with a spacious shower. The spa is very nice, featuring a steam bath, Finnish sauna, whirlpool, and spacious relaxation areas with very comfortable beds. Large dining room, good and varied breakfast buffet, and dinner with a choice of first and second courses. Covered parking is available, but for a fee. Good proximity to the city center, accessible on foot or by public transportation. Decent Wi-Fi. The only flaw is the virtually non-existent heating in the bathroom; the radiator got lukewarm at full blast. The front desk, despite being notified three times, failed to resolve the issue.

The hotel is lovely. Very convenient to the city center, a 10-minute walk away via the Sissi path. The rooms are cozy and equipped with all the comforts expected of a 3-star hotel. The spa is beautiful and spotless. The only flaw is that there isn't a proper, quiet relaxation area. The dinner was excellent. Breakfast leaned toward savory options but was overall good (it had everything from sweet to savory, plus fruit, juices, and a coffee machine). I recommend this hotel for a night or two, and I'll definitely consider it for my next visit to Merano.
