We had booked in advance and indicated that we would be bringing our dog.
Upon arrival, the greeting was noticeably reserved, and a somewhat tense atmosphere immediately developed. Although dogs were generally accepted, we didn't really feel welcome.
The service overall seemed rather cold and unwelcoming. Regular guests are apparently greeted personally by name, which is generally a good thing. As a new guest, however, we felt we were served correctly – but without any particular attention or noticeable friendliness.
The food was standard and solid – tasted fine, but nothing special. Overall, not a complete disaster, but also not a place where you truly feel welcome.
Therefore, from our perspective, a maximum of 2 out of 5 stars.

The bar is also a tobacconist, and has rooms where you can smoke.

05/06/2026: We got a table even without a reservation, despite the restaurant being almost full twice. The pasta and pizza were perfect, and the price-performance ratio was good. Of course, a wait is unavoidable given the high demand. But you should have time for a meal on vacation!
04/06/2026: The food was good, although in my opinion there were too many onions in the pasta and the pizza had a bit too much cheese. The servers were friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, both dishes arrived at very different times. We sat outside during our visit, and we found the many flies annoying. In summary, the restaurant is certainly not bad, but there were a few things that could have been improved.

22/12/2025: We weren't impressed with the quality of the pizzas; yes, they are very large... the service was average and the atmosphere was okay. Unfortunately, there's no parking due to space limitations.

14/06/2026: The best ice cream shop in Merano! The ice cream and other specialties are truly delicious, carefully prepared and of the highest quality. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and very professional. A place we'll always gladly return to. Congratulations!

08/10/2025: Charging €6.40 for a tiny portion of white rice is simply outrageous. The service was rude and reacted irritably to any questions. Furthermore, the cheese on my dish was moldy, which is absolutely unacceptable!
On top of that, we had to wait far too long, even though the restaurant was practically empty. Overall, very poor value for money – I certainly won't be back.

29/05/2026: Based on the good reviews, we visited the Therme restaurant. At first, we were a little skeptical because it didn't look particularly inviting, but the pizza was delicious and the prices are absolutely fantastic! We paid €6.50 for a Margherita! Elsewhere, you'd easily pay twice that, and here you get really fair prices and great taste!
Many locals go here, which is usually a good sign. The service was friendly and efficient! Card payments are no problem.
