The location is simply ideal: just a 3-minute walk from the village center and directly behind the cable car, which is a 2-minute walk away – you can conveniently leave your car in the hotel parking lot. The rooms and the entire property are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need. The breakfast is excellent, as is the in-house bar service. The owners' exceptional hospitality is particularly noteworthy.

01/02/2026: We had a wonderful stay there with friends. The rooms were very clean and warm, the housekeeping was impeccable, and there was hot water in the bathroom. The hotel is rated two stars, so don't expect four for the price of two ;-). The free Wi-Fi worked well. There are no shoe dryers, so we took out our shoe liners and dried them in our rooms every day. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was good, attentive, and always willing to help. There was a separate room on the ground floor for gatherings in the evenings. The owners were very kind and helpful. Especially Uli, very open and empathetic, and spoke excellent English. I found it amazing how open and helpful she was despite working so hard at the hotel – I've never encountered anything like that before. Thank you, Uli! The hotel bar is open, and you can see that local people meet there – it looks great. The hotel is located close to the ski lift, and access would be perfect if it weren't for the steep, winding climb to the lift itself – it's a shame there's no elevator, as it's simply slippery and dangerous in winter, but that's not the hotel's fault. You can leave your gear in the ski storage room by the lift for around €6 per person per day. Shoes can be dried in the storage lockers, and you can return to the hotel in your street shoes. There's a great restaurant by the lift and a fantastic après-ski bar – always with a DJ, a dance floor, and open until 10 PM. There's also the Zum Woscht restaurant nearby, which serves excellent pizza and a variety of other dishes. Next to this restaurant is a well-stocked Despar store, and a second market a bit higher up. A bus station with good connections is close to the hotel. The bus takes about 35 minutes to Ortisei, but the road is incredibly winding – a nightmare for those with motion sickness.

29/09/2025: If you feel like a little treat, I’d definitely recommend grabbing a scoop or two of gelato here. It was so good that I completely forgot to take a picture of it. I also didn’t take any photos of the place itself because it was packed with people, and I didn’t want to bother anyone. Both are pretty positive “problems” to have!

10/03/2026: Wonderful pizza with quality ingredients. The soup and salad gave us local variety, and service was prompt and friendly. The beer and house wine were very good.

08/12/2025: We found it by chance, as all the restaurants in the center of Castelrotto were closed. It was around 1:30 PM, and when we called, they told us the kitchen was open until around 2 PM. As soon as we arrived, they welcomed us kindly, which wasn't exactly expected given the hour. We ate very well, both the dumplings in broth and the excellent venison goulash. The restaurant is five minutes from the center (you need to take the car), but definitely recommended for a quiet stay and good food.

05/03/2026: A very nice hotel with a great spa area and outdoor pool! We spent a very relaxing ski holiday with our children and friends. The appetizer buffet, the location, the shuttle service, and the host family's passion for sports are just a few of the many highlights of this hotel!

24/02/2026: A beautiful location with luxurious rooms. Not close to the ski lift, but the hotel's own transfer service will quickly get you to the Seiser Alm or Seceda lifts. The restaurant staff is very helpful, welcoming, and friendly. The ladies at reception could learn a thing or two from them.

11/03/2026: We arrived on skis and stopped for a break because of the wonderful atmosphere with the alphorn players. Good service, very friendly. We're planning to come back again.

09/03/2026: A little paradise on the Seiser Alm! For the past few years, we've enjoyed our ski and hiking holidays at Hotel Panorama. For us, the hotel's location is simply perfect! After a leisurely breakfast, we can enjoy the first run of the day on our skis and then head straight back to the ski room at lunchtime. ;-) Afterwards, we put on our hiking gear and enjoy the beautiful winter hiking trails and mountain huts (baitas) right from the hotel! And the best part? After a long day, enjoying the sunset behind the Schlern mountain with a drink on the terrace – what more could you want! The spa area and massage facilities are also highly recommended! And last but not least: The Penz family and their staff are truly wonderful hosts who take excellent care of all their guests! Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy such a fantastic holiday here every time. We're already looking forward to next year! ;-)

17/10/2025: we tried this hole in the wall pizza spot last October; prices were reasonable, portions generous, service fast and friendly. The owners were super sweet, even offered us some green chillies for extra heat!

12/10/2025: Small pizzeria, option to eat in or take away. You can buy just a slice of pizza. We liked the value for money. Free uncovered parking in front, something rare in Ortisei.

The food was exceptional — beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with great attention to quality and detail. Every dish exceeded expectations.The service was warm, attentive, and professional, making us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere was stylish and relaxed, the perfect setting for a great dining experience. Highly recommended.

26/12/2025: Ristorante Sotriffer & Wine Bar offers wonderful cuisine and a beautifully refined atmosphere. What truly stood out during our visit was the servic - attentive, professional and effortlessly warm. The young waiter who looked after our table had a rare combination of confidence, charm and genuine kindness, which made my friday evening feel even more special. 😊 A place where great food meets great people. I will definitely return.

21/02/2026: Erdi is the best bartender in Dolomites!! Dangerous friend if you have to work the next day, but amazing! We had so much fun returning here several times during our 2 weeks stay. The bar is very friendly, welcoming and a great spot after skiing. They have some light snacks but they also allow you to order pizza in. They have a TV with sports if that's your thing! Make sure to ask for Erdi's spritz!!!

16/10/2025: Anyone in Castelrotto has to go there. A visit, especially during the Castelrotto Spatzenfest (Spatzen Festival), is practically a must. The atmosphere is outstanding, with plenty of mountain hut flair and music from the Spatzen. Great.

16/02/2026: I stayed at the Hotel Hartmann in Ortisei and the experience was simply spectacular. The hotel has an intimate and refined atmosphere, perfect for those seeking relaxation and tranquility. Everything is extremely tidy and meticulously maintained, from the common areas to the rooms, which are tastefully furnished with contemporary Alpine elegance. One of its strong points is undoubtedly the free transfer service to the ski lifts, extremely convenient and punctual. Its proximity to the lifts makes the hotel perfect for both winter skiers and those who want to explore the Dolomites in the summer without stress. The real surprise, however, was the view from the room: simply sensational. Waking up with the Dolomites before your eyes is a feeling difficult to describe. In short: an elegant, welcoming, and perfectly organized hotel, ideal for a quality stay in Ortisei. I would return without hesitation. 🌿🏔️

11/02/2026: I stayed here for 1 night. We arrived in the night, but this hotel felt so cozy and nice. It was such an experience. They have a bar named honesty bar, where you can serve a lot of drinks like coffee, cocktai, beer etc. The spa has such a vibe. Is very nice. They provide everything for you. I totally recomand it
