30/10/2025: Restaurant is a bit away from the busy streets. They've got really nice interiors and its ideal for eating out as a group. They are famous for their pizzas, but other Italian delicacies are available as well. A nice bar is at the entrance connected to the main dining hall. Friendly and nice service personnel. We even found someone who speaks Hindi 🙂 which was nice. It's kind of like a fine dine experience but at very reasonable price. The thin flat noodle pasta with sausage was really nice. We ordered other delicacies and pizza as well. All were really good. Both card and cash are accepted. Free roadside parking can be found a little away from the restaurant. Restaurant was almost full when we arrived so an early reservation would be nice if you have a large group.

18/10/2025: A modern, beautiful hotel with a great, spacious room. The service was always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and the half-board meals were delicious, fresh, and regional. Our dog was also welcome and allowed in the restaurant. A great base for walks by the lake, as well as long or short hikes. We were completely satisfied with our stay at the Alpenrose!

03/11/2025: A very tidy, clean house, as are the rooms. We always receive a very warm and friendly welcome and feel very comfortable with the Somvi family. We have everything we need at breakfast, and it's regularly replenished. Free parking is available. A refrigerator stocked with drinks is available on the ground floor. You simply write down what you take and pay at the end.

28/09/2025: We had a wonderful stay! We had a room with a view of the village and the mountains. Truly beautiful! The room was very clean and beautiful. We received a warm welcome. The breakfast is varied and caters to everyone's taste.

14/09/2025: A quietly located hotel close to the town center. Managed with meticulous attention by Martin Doná. The breakfast is outstanding – nothing is lacking! The selection is constantly being expanded. In addition to the large, covered terrace, there are tables and chairs in the well-kept garden. Bolzano and Merano can be reached in 25 minutes by free bus. The same applies to the cable cars, some of which are free.

27/02/2025: Vale la pena certamente di raggiungere Sarentino perchè Braunwirt merita una visita. Abbiamo scelto la degustazione di 4 portate a scelta dello chef già riportate nel menù, per le quali comunque viene chiesto se vi siano alimenti non graditi, così da evitare brutte sorprese. Partiti con vari pani di loro produzione, in accoppiamento a 3 tipologie di burro squisiti, a seguire le quattro portate comprendenti un tartare indimenticabile, piatti squisiti, complessi, esteticamente perfetti. Carta dei vini non particolarmente estesa, ma ricercata comprendente anche proposte, insolite, del territorio (vignaioli indipendenti). Servizio ottimo, conto nella norma considerando la qualità complessiva. Unica piccola pecca il locale, in effetti non di mio particolare gradimento per la vicinanza dei tavoli e le sedute, così da sentirsi più a Milano che non in Alto Adige, ma è un dettaglio.

23/02/2025: Che dire un esperienza davvero interessante, capitati per caso, abbiamo pranzato per la prima volta un sabato di dicembre, ci siamo tornati per due domeniche di febbraio consecutive con degli amici. Il cibo, e l'accoglienza tutto davvero ottimo. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare, a presto. Raffaella

28/11/2025: A place with incredibly delicious food, incredibly friendly staff, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The view is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this place.

08/10/2025: The panoramic terrace looks beautiful, but unfortunately, you're only seated in the front dining area. The service isn't very friendly, but the chef is even more so. The burgers were tasteless, the pizza was quite good and large. But I've had much better pizzas. The ice cream was okay, but neither homemade nor well-stored.

30/09/2025: Very nice hotel. Perfectly service-oriented staff. Perfect breakfast. We were thrilled. Even our unexpected late arrival in the middle of the night worked out perfectly. Thank you again for that. Only the room we stayed in, room 107, needs some minor tweaking. (See photos)

20/10/2025: Being a self-service restaurant, the service is very fast and the staff are friendly. Excellent value for money.

02/10/2025: They made an effort to get us a seat. The food was okay; there are definitely better shepherd's macaroni. The salad buffet was very small, and the iceberg lettuce didn't look fresh. The dressing wasn't great either. The service was very impersonal, everything was very fast. We finished eating, our drinks were also empty, and there was no service staff to be seen (in the next room). My husband went to the counter to pay and was told they would send us a lady. She came! She didn't even ask us if we liked the food. Sad 😢. We paid, but it wasn't a nice evening or a thank you, nothing. It was just a tourist service!!!!

30/09/2025: Very friendly and prompt service. The two of us, without a reservation, managed to get a seat in the adjoining room even though the restaurant was packed. The pizzas and Zwickl beer are excellent. Everything is highly recommended.

We were welcomed with great professionalism and courtesy. The lunch was simply superb, especially your canederli, which delighted all attendees with their authentic flavor and impeccable preparation. A true triumph of Trentino cuisine that warmed our hearts and stomachs.
