08/04/2025: The hut is a stopping point both for skiers from the Carezza area and for those who want to take a simple but evocative walk in the snow starting from Passo Nigra. With the end of the ski season the hut closes and reopens in mid-May. In April we therefore found it closed, but perhaps it was for the best, because we enjoyed the splendid panorama surrounding the hut, in perfect solitude!

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the owner, whose kindness shone through every interaction. This family-run business exudes a personal touch that you simply don’t find in larger hotels. We had an issue with the rental car when we arrived and the owner Marco went above and beyond to help. Every detail here reflects the care and dedication of the family behind the business. The rooms are well maintained rooms and extremely clean. The atmosphere is warm and comforting. I was especially impressed by the spa, which is kept spotlessly clean—a perfect place to unwind and relax. In the evening, dinner was a delightful experience, with a menu that truly impressed and satisfied my taste buds. Every element, from the thoughtful staff and homemade breakfast to the immaculate spa and excellent dinner, tells a story of genuine hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique, heartwarming experience where comfort, care, and personalized service are always at the forefront. The shuttle service to the slopes is a great addition and the driver Alessandro was so proactive and helpful. Thank you to Marco and the staff for all of us for a great holiday.

15/04/2025: Ritornata per una cena insieme ad un'amica! Serata perfetta, ottimo cibo, attenta cura dei piatti, ambiente caldo ed intimo, personale che ti fa sentire a proprio agio. Un locale che continuo a consigliare perché ne vale davvero la pena. Lo chef che con cura trasmette la sua passione nei piatti che presenta, il suo saluto di persona che riserva ai clienti, tutti dettagli che fanno decidere di tornare!

07/07/2025: This lovingly run hotel never fails to impress us. The decor is very tasteful, the food is excellent, the staff are all very friendly, and—not to mention—the view is a dream! A vacation in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere!

25/06/2025: The family-run hotel has excellent cuisine and a wonderful dining area in the restaurant with a beautiful view of the valley and Merano. The pool area is also very nice, with a view of two castles and the valley to Merano. I stayed in the very nice room 101 on the south side with a fantastic view of Merano.

06/05/2025: È facile recensire bene un posto così! Cibo molto buono senza troppi fronzoli con porzioni generose. Menù vario che accontenta sicuramente tutti con alcune chicche. Il locale pur essendo piccolino è a tema senza risultare finto o stucchevole e ti lascia una bella sensazione di intimo. Personale giovane (e giovanile), molto gentile, attento e divertente. Questa volta, anche se era il giorno di chiusura, oltre ad essere aperto c'era anche musica dal vivo per la festa del cinco de mayo (e questo fa capire quanto siano davvero in sintonia con la cucina che propongono). Se avete dubbi sui piatti chiedete e lasciatevi consigliare così come per una buona tequila o un mezcal a fine pasto, sono sempre pronti a coccolarti anche in questo

20/06/2025: We were returning from Tuscany and, unfortunately, only stayed there for one day. It's rare to find such a nice host family. The interaction was so friendly and warm that we will definitely be back, as guests of one of the two vacation apartments. The homemade cakes and tarts in the adjoining café are amazing, and Rudi Schönweger's homemade ice cream is heavenly. Maria Schönweger spoiled us with a wonderful breakfast and won our hearts after just one day. We were thrilled and will be back, especially since the place has a magical charm and much to offer nature lovers. And on hot days, the outdoor pool is within walking distance.

The staff was extremely nice and friendly, we got the desserts in glass cups “for the best experience” and they were pretty chill about when we bring them back. Truely a wonderful experience!
